If their were two single words that could describe who L was, it was a unknown genius. One thing about him was that he only took on cases that interested him, and well.. so far their had not been one that had not been solved and this was planned to be no different. Purely rather secretive in nature unless certain situations occur, everything would be analyzed and one thing that always was what he tried to do was think ahead.. think ahead of the person who was the criminal, work them out and then find the culprit. Kira.. a mass murderer who believed he was being justice, killing people is no better then the actual people themselves of which L only believed in one sort of justice. The justice of the law, and people like Kira.. are just don't fit in that category. One thing was for certain, he was unsure how.. the person actually killed but he would catch him nether the less.

Because of his secretive nature he only really trusted one person and that was Watari, but their was a few people that he had at least had some trust or faith in a while ago. Trying to cooperate with the police force was getting rather hopeless though and people were still dying left right and center, truth was he needed more help.. but well to find someone smart enough to think on his level, and be of some help.. it would either have to be a group he could trust.. or maybe, just maybe if he could get in contact with her.. he remembered someone from Wammy's house that was one of the only ones their that did not see him as odd or look at him strangely.. but she seemed more to be on his level, yet making contact with JT.. was a hard task, she was a PI and a decent one.. but he had tried numerous times and so decided if she wanted to help it was up to her, to actually get in contact with him.. Although alone he had worked out more about Kira then anyone so far, it was not enough.. sure Kira was a student, of some sort.. he possibly was even connected to the police force somehow,.. and he was in Japan in one of the main cities.. but other then that a lot was to be worked out... and soon he would have to just work with a few members of the police force he could trust the rest, he knew would not risk their lives in a heartbeat.

JT grinned. The messages from L were clear. She'd been working the case on her own so far. But lately she'd called Watari. She remembered him from Wammy's house and he'd given her L's current location. Carrying a bag with a nice cake and a backpack wit her files she knocked on the door of his hotel room.

It had been too long since they met. She'd always liked L, but had never told him about her crush on him and had always wondered if he'd known by reading her behavior. He was really hard to read. He was himself around others rather then trying to fit in, something she was guilty of as well. JT was now twenty years of age, stood about 5'6ft tall. She had a mildly athletic build, nice curves and slightly pale skin, long straight ginger red hair and big, almond shaped piercing blue eyes. Dressed in slacks and a long sleeved black t-shirt along with a raincoat and neat looking sneakers she looked a tad odd.

The KIRA case was a big pain in the ass. She'd found out the same things as L. KIRA was still young, a student in Kanto Japan, late teens, early twenties. A classic sociopath with a god complex. One thing that struck her as odd that criminals who had their names misspelled in the media hadn't been targeted. Maybe they'd been targeted but the weapon didn't work. Somehow spelling mattered. KIRA needed a name and face she knew.

L at hearing a knock on his door partially froze up as he turned towards it.. Could it be room service or what.. He was unsure if anyone actually knew his location at the moment but instead signaled for Watari to go answer it as he turned of his computer monitor to hide the Kira research he was trying to do. Watari went to go to do such a thing, knowing who it was.. he had forgotten to tell L that he had left JT their location and slowly he opened the door to see just such the person.

Slowly Watari started to speak up deciding to test if this was who he thought "Hmm.. well then are you the room service? Or.. if you who I think you are.. then what was the place that you went to when you were young?" This had L's attention now as he stood up and walked towards Watari.. he could barely remember what JT looked like but he always had a feeling just by studying over all her actions back then.. she definently had a crush of some sort on him.. and briefly his mind remembered before he spoke "Watari, no time for trivial measures.. come in JT.. and close the door behind you.." He had a feeling that Watari had told her their location.. without telling him but that was what was expected and so it was no surprise to see her now..

"Well I must ask you, how much do you know about who they call Kira.. I have discovered a reasonable amount of information, but for now I still have yet to work out how he gets his information of who to kill.. I have a few ideas that i would like to throw past you once I hear what you know.." He then gestured to a chair as he sat down.. a slight sugar craving coming over him.. "Oh and you would not happen to have something sweet to eat?.. If you remember me well enough.. you would have known to bring something.."

JT blinked. Well this was to be expected. "Missed you too Wammy." JT said, calling him by his real last name, something only a small group of kids from Wammy's house knew that Wammy and Watari were one and the same. She just grinned at him. Then L walked up. Well he hadn't changed a bit, with the exception of his voice and height. She stepped inside and closed the door.

She walked over to the livingroom area and put a plastic bag on the table. "You know me." She said and sat down. "I doubt I figured out something you don't know already. KIRA is young, late teens early twenties, a student in Kanto Japan. He's idealistic, yet is a sociopath with a god complex. He somehow got his hands on something that allows him to kill with just knowing a person's real name and face. All criminals killed had both their names and picture published. But the ones who's names were misspelled were not targeted. Or at least they didn't die, doesn't mean he didn't target them. I think he needs to spell the name correctly, which would mean that in the process of killing he would need to write down his victim's name. This could mean that whatever object he has is something he writes with or writes on. How this object got this power I have no clue. Also recent findings seem to indicate he can control the actions of his victims just before dying. If that's true he might also be able to control the cause of death and we merely picked up on it because he wanted us to. It would mean he deliberately chose heartattackes to send the world a message. After all if he can control someone's actions and he make them jump of a twenty story building the end result is a bloody corps on the sidewalk. Also he seems to know classified information and to be reacting to it, as if challenging you. He's either a cop or connected to a detective on the KIRA case. Or just some whizzkid that managed to hack the computers of one of the detectives."

It had been a while since Watari had heard anyone call him that.. but it was the answer he was looking for nether the less. Even though L had made the comment just after her answering he decided to speak "You know at times like these.. we have to be more careful then ever.. so no harm in just checking.." This was enough to stop L from answering again and quickly he heard JT start to tell him of what she knew about the Kira case so far.. or more to the point what she had worked out.L had for a while now thought that it was possibly the case that Kira had to actually write down the names onto something to kill people, otherwise spelling would probably not matter.. and knowing what type of person Kira was.. well he would try to kill anyone if he deemed them evil, and it probably annoyed him with each misspelling that had occurred which probably was a few. Just hearing what JT had to say, already was reassuring L of what he had already previously thought.. So far nothing seemed wrong from what she had said before he decided to speak.

"Although I agree with the majority that you have said, we already know he is not a cop because of the times that the first killings occurred, that which you obviously worked out.. fitted into a general students timetable.. and its highly unlikely that Kira is someone who has hacked the computers of one of the detectives..but he has to be connected with someone of the Kira case.." L let out a small sigh raising a thumb to his lip before an idea came to him. "Hmm, Watari, get me a list of any students that are in Kanto that have connections to the police force..," This did not take Wammy long but quickly he sent them to L's main laptop before speaking "Sent.." L quickly started to flick through them.. Not many of the few seemed like they could be Kira before he thought of an idea.. "I think we can easily get a higher chance of knowing which one is Kira by their grades.. from what I have seen so far, Kira has to be intelligent from how much he tries to out plan me.. and the fact that he has let us know that he can control peoples actions so it seems.. shows he is over confident that we will not catch him.."

"I agree it's unlikely that it's a wizkid don't forget that cops sometimes have undercover as students or students working undercover who have excess to the computers at the policestation, however limited, anyone with enough knowledge of coputers... Again it's highly unlikely, but not impossible. As for intelligent KIRA is most likely top of his class and to everyone around him he would seem like a decent young man, no one would believe he's KIRA." JT said and stood behind him to read the list as well. She then took her own laptop from her bag and began to excess school files after hacking into the school computer.

She found something a little while later. "Well here's one. He's the son of police chief Yagami. Light Yagami, has been top of his class ever since first grade. He even was the junior high champion here in Japan. In the tenth grade he hung up his racket though. And it seems he's helped the police with cases before. He fits the profile perfectly." JT said, then looked up at him.

L just nodded in agreement at what JT had started to say, It was obvious that the third choice was the most possible, with a percentage chance of about 22% just from thinking about it, his eyes had caught one individuals name as well... Which definently had strong police officer connections and by the looks of it had been intelligent for a while, he went to hack into the school's network for the information before noticing JT had already started to do such a thing. So instead he quickly hacked into the police's network also noticing that for a while their is Yagami Light had helped with solving a few crimes.. the chances of it being Kira so far were at least 25% now.. "Seems like he would fit the profile perfectly.. with that you have helped me raise the chance of him being Kira to roughtly about.. well 30%"

His mind started to scheme before he started to come up with an idea "Maybe we could get in direct contact with his father,.. not to tell him his son is a high suspect for Kira, but just to warn him Kira might be someone close to him.. or the police office.. Now that your here though I won't need as much cooperation as what would have been needed in the first place if it was just me.. but having someone who is also on my level.. will help us even this all out."

"Well looks like things are going well." JT said. Then her phone rang and hers wasn't the only one. She answred hers. "I'm sorry to tell you this ma'am, but the FBI agents on the KIRA case all collapsed of heartattacks." A male voice said. "What?" she said, half yelled. She'd heard him perfectly though. "I'm really sorry." The FBI director said. "Me too." She told him. "Where and at what time did they collapse?" JT asked him. She got the names, times and locations of the agents. she wrote them down in her steno, one no one, but her seemed to be able to read. "Please send the information of the case of each agent over and thank you." She said and hung up.

She looked up at L, she was sure he had just gotten the same information. "Looks like he got us, hopefully his method left at least some clues." She said and sighed. She wondered when L was going to try the cake she'd brought with her, it was still sitting in the plastic bag on the table. He should like it, he did back at Wammy's. His taste could have changed of course.

OK, now for a timeline, she thought. She grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down:

Dec. 14th: 12 FBI agents enter Japan.

Dec. 19th: KIRA experiments on prisoners.

Dec. 27th: FBI agents are killed by KIRA.

In between the 14th and 19th he became aware of the FBI presence, felt threatened.

In between the 19th and 27th at least 23 people died at KIRA's hands. They differ from normal targets (Alledged criminals, ex-convicts and suspets in ongoing investigations.

He waited eight days so the FBI could investigate others.

"Got some more news. I think KIRA was one of the people the FBI investigated between the 14th and 19th of December." She said and showed him what she'd written down, hoping L could read her handwriting. it was hard to read at times.

L was suspecting Kira to target the FBI agents as he knew of them trailing quite a few suspects that were thought to be possible cases, but in truth they were quite horrible at discovering such a person but the fact all of them died gave him one piece of information,.. KIRA was being followed by the FBI, and so to protect himself he had dispatched of them.. and he had killed them all with his trade mark,.. heart attacks. It seemed JT just got the same information but to a slightly more detailed level but she was working for them for a little while, or so he knew and so it was not that much a surprise. Already he began the task of hacking into the network of the FBI before pulling up all information regarding Kira in a few moments and then showing the 12 dead members. and who they were following, a particular name in the list catching his attention.. He turned to JT before then speaking "Yagami Light .. was one of those being followed by the group of 12 members that are dead.. and the time fits your suggestion perfectly.. one of the members,.. it says here was following Yagami from the 14th to about the 22nd,.. but apparently he ruled him out for some reason,.. still this raises the possibility up to about 39%,.."

Her writting seemed like it had not changed much since the two of them were at Wammy's but he could read it then , and so now was no different.. "Maybe Kira used one of the agents .. to kill the others.., After the 19th he knew he could control the deaths.. Hmm but first before i finish what I am suggesting.. I am going to check what you brought,, " A small smile appeared upon seeing what was in the bag, it was a style of cake.. he had commonly at Watari's and surprisingly enough she had remembered, He quickly removed a slice and started to eat before speaking.. "You remembered.. but back to what i was saying,.." he swallowed before taking another bite speaking a little afterwards. "What i have come to conclusion .. is that these deaths were all linked by who ever was closest to catching Kira.. which... if I am right.." quickly he started typing away again, and not long afterwards he pulled up a filed report of the death times and locations of the FBI members.. "It seems according to records, that this person died.. first, after going onto a subway.. which considering,.. seems odd for him to do at such a time,.. Best thing we can do is try to get some footage, it might have Kira.. if he was their.."

"Makes sense. Only another FBI agent would be able to get the file of the other officers involved. But still how did KIRA get his name to begin with?" She asked. "I think I'm going out for a bit I want to check some things. But first I'd like to read the notes of this agent that died in the subway, this Raye Penber." She said and grinned. It was obviously he still loved this cake. That was good.

She sat back downand opened her own laptop and locked on Raye Penber's notes in a few minutes time. She read and memorized them. "Alright I'm out. I'm gonna retrace Raye's footsteps for the days he was following our main suspect." JT said. She was more hands on then L. Her face was known, her name wasn't. But there weren't any pictures of her around either. She grabbed her jacket and walked over to L. She'd been wondering if he knew, she was sure he did now. Something like her crush on him wouldn't have gone unnoticed by those eyes. "I'll be back for dinner, anything you'd like me to bring?" She asked. It was just past lunch time now.

L could tell JT had not changed much since back when he used to know her more oftenly, which at least that would make things easier.. but her feelings would probably complicate things a little if the chance came. If she acted anything like back at Watari's.. well it could be an issue, she was to hands on and such a method with Kira's case could be deadly.. as it was a little reckless. Still he could not deny her results, and just like him a case had always been solved if he chose to take it up. Raye Penber could be a huge clue to this whole case, and now as she asked the question after her other statements L's eyes looked within hers before he got a hold of himself.

"Surprise me.." it was all he could say before turning away, something was on his mind that was lingering to say but he was not going to say it. It was to risky to possibly let feelings fly around and times had changed, L was slightly unsure of himself anymore and could not take chances with risks. Kira was to much a threat and so instead he sat on his laptop starting to try and get some footage from the train station at the time of Raye's death. "Just be careful JT.. " that was the last thing he said turning to face her before turning away again and starting to type away again.

JT smiled. "OK. And I'm always careful." She said and bent down and kissed his cheek before walking out with a smile on her face without looking back. Well the interesting part in Raye Penber's steps was the day he thought Light was not a suspect, so that one would come first. She went to the central station where most busses left. the guy driving the buss on that day was easily found.

"Good afternoon. I'm JT." She said and showed him a badge.
"Good afternoon." He said and looked at the badge.
"I'd like to ask you a few questions about the morning of twentieth." She said.
"Sure, but keep it short please, my lunchbreak ends in fifteen minutes." He said.
"OK. Do you remember any of the passengers?" She asked.
"Well there was this man that yelled to get down when the crazy guy started shooting." He said.
"Is he one of these men?" She asked him, showing him six small photoportrets, all looked more or less like Raye.
"That one." The bussdriver said and pointed at the picture of Raye Penber.
"Can you tell me what happened before the guy just started shooting?" JT then asked.
"Well he was yelling at me when he suddenly stopped and started yelling at some kid who appeared to be trying to pick up a piece of paper. Instead of letting the kid pick it up he picked it up, that's when he lost it. He started yelling to someone who wasn't even there, emptied his gun through the rear window. Then ordered me to stop, which I more then happily did. He got off and got hit by another car." The bussdriver said.
"Can you remember what the kid looked like?" She then asked.
"Not really. About six ft. tall I think, well groomed, polite, brown hair." He said.
"Is he among these guys?" JT then asked and once again showed his six photoportrets, all of guys who fit Light's description and of course a photo of Light.
"Maybe this one, but I'm really not sure." He said. He did point at Light's photo though.
"Can you remember anything about him. Was he alone?" She asked.
"No, he came in with a girl." He said.
"Can you describe her?" JT then asked.
"I think about 5'8 ft. tall, slender build, shoulder length black hair and brown eyes." He said.
JT knew that was the average description of many asian females. "Do you think they were related or was it more like a girlfriend?" She asked.
"Girlfriend I think, but I'm not sure." He said.
"Thank you forr your time." JT said.
"You're welcome." He said and left. His lunchbreak was over.
JT left too, time to find this girlfriend. Light's sister fit the description. If it was a girlfriend maybe the sister would know?

A slight gasp left L as he felt her lips on his cheek,.. yep nothing had changed, She still had those feelings but because of her being more grown up.. L was unsure if he could predict if and when they would pop up again and if and when she would act upon them. Lightly his hand brushed the spot that was kissed before hearing Wammy laugh and speak
"Looks like things have not changed much .. L"
L looked away slightly embarrassed before starting to start trying to find out more information "Watari.. I want you to try and get surveillance camera's.. of the station that Raye Penber.. died at.. Think you can do that?"
Sure enough the man seemed to nod and start to begin the task set out before L started to look up today's victims to see how active Kira was this week.. he had a feeling Kira was playing it a little more quiet.. that and the news were being tipped to misspell names.. to try and avoid casualties..

But L had reason to think that this would not work to well.. the fact would be, he could use the internet to find out there real name.. but at least this would delay Kira a little and annoy him at the same time. Already L knew he had occasionally struck at Kira's weak point.. and soon was going to announce some of his newly found information.. to the police only so that Kira.. would find out somehow since he had some sort of relevance to the police force, it was certain. It seemed Kira had actually been a little more quiet, but again their were some odd unexplained deaths..that he was wondering if they were Kira's or not.. he would double check with JT to see what she thought about it..

Well now to go talk to Light's sister. It was lunch break and she spotted Sayu. She would fit the description, but she had no way of knowing if it was her just yet. She walked up to Sayu. "Sayu Yagami?" She asked.
"That's me, who are you?" She asked.
"I'm JT." She said and showed her badge to Sayu. "I'm looking into the bussjacking from about a week ago. The buss driver said that there was a teenage boy on the buss. He remembers because at one point he drew the hi-jacker's attention by trying to pick up a piece of paper. The buss driver described this young man about 6ft tall, brown hair, well roomed and really polite." JT said.
"Oh no, Light." Sayu mumbled.
"Light?" JT asked.
"Well my brother went out that day, I think he was taking his girlfriend to Spaceland." Sayu said.
Spaceland, you'd need that buss, buss 174 to get there so Light was on the bus with Raye Penber, great. JT thought. "Thank you, do you know her name?" JT then asked.
"I don't know that much about his dating life, but if he's still dating the girl he brought home once, her name is Takada." Sayu said.
"Thank you very much. Good luck with school." JT said.
"I'll need it, bye." Sayu said.
"Bye." JT replied and walked off. She would need to check the Yagami's phonelogs to see if Light or at least someone had called Takada's house. She walked into a coffeeshop and ordered some black coffee. She then took a seat away from people and took out her laptop.

Watari seemed busy now with what had been set for him, and so L continued to try and piece what was in their hands already.. to see if anything was missed. He looked over it a few times, at what the two of them knew so far trying to notice if anything was missing. While he was thinking his mind went over the messages that Kira had left him.. thinking them over..
'L do you know that death gods..' What does he mean by this.. I am missing one key.. part that will tell me what this means.. L sighed before watching over the surveillance tapes a little of which he had gathered from Yagami's house. He was the main suspect now.. and he watched parts before noticing sometimes that he watched the news.. and although no notes or anything like that seemed to be made.. those people died the next day.. or recently after,.. that was no coincidence... but instead just made it more probable that Yagami Light.. is Kira.. "Watari.. I want to get back in contact with the police.. I think that with JT here, I will not need their assistance anymore.. and that they should be careful so that their lives are not accidentally lost..

Kiyomi Takada wasn't that hard to find. JT grinned, this would be good. "Kiyomi Takada?" JT asked.
"That would be me." The girl said, chatting to a few other girls.
"Can I please speak to you?" She asked.
"You're already doing that, who are you?" Takada countered.
JT couldn't help but chuckle lightly. "Good point. I'm JT." She said and showed Takada her badge.
"Alright, what do you want to know?" Takada asked, in the mean time her friends relocated to about ten feet away.
"First of all would you mind if I record this conversation?" JT asked.
"Not at all." Takada said.
JT took a voice-recorder out of her pocket and pushed the record button. "I'm looking into the buss jacking from a week ago. Can you please tell me what happened in as much detail as possible?" JT asked.
"Sure. Well Light called me that morning and asked if we could go to Spaceland. I agreed and met him at the busstop. We got on the buss and for a while everything seemed to be going normally, but then this man comes on the buss and pulled out a gun and put it to the buss driver's head. He then ordered him to call the office of Spaceland. Once the buss driver had told the office about the buss jacking he grabbed the horn and started yelling into it. He said he wanted a female employee to meet him two stops before Spaceland with all the cash from the day before. It scared the hell out of me. Then Light showed me a note, it said that when the guy would turn away he'd try to disarm him. Then this man sitting behind us got involved. He told Light that was stupid and to leave it to him. That's when Light asked him why he should trust him, what prove he had he wasn't the other's accomplice. Then he told me that sometimes hi-jackers work together. One enters and appears to be working alone, the other sits in the very back, pretending to be a hostage and to only step in when nescesary. Then this man pulled out his badge, he was an FBI agent. Light agreed to trust him. Then Light accidentally dropped a piece of paper from his pocket and the hi-jacker noticed this and instead of letting Light pick it up he picked it up. I was afraid it was the note from before, but it wasn't. The man said: "Having plans for a date?" or something like that, then threw the note back at Light. Then he turned around and started shouting at someone who wasn't even there. The FBI-agent yelled through the buss that everyone should get down. Then he emptied his gun into the back of the buss. He seemed really scared. He ran to front and ordered the driver to let him off. He got off and got hit by a car." Takada said.
"Thank you. Did you by any chance catch the name of the Federal agent?" JT asked.
"I think it was Raye something, but I'm not sure." Takada replied.
"Is he one of these men?" JT asked and showed her the same six photos as she had the buss driver with Raye's picture in it.
"That's him, I'm sure." Takada said.
"Can you tell which number you picked? Also I need you to write down what you just told me and sign it please." JT said. Takada sighed, but nodded. "Number four." This meant bye bye lunch break. She took out her notebook, when JT pulled out her laptop and opened a text processing program. Takada smiled and typed the statement out. JT stored it on an USB stick and printed it out inside, then Takada signed it.
"Thank you very much for your time Miss Takada." JT said and smiled politely.
"You're welcome." She said and headed out to find her friends.
JT walked off and grinned. They had him, Light Yagami, hook line and sinker, now to talk to him and see his version of the story.

It seemed as if not much else could be worked out by him as if this moment but Watari had a breakthrough at least in finding the footage that was requested.
"I could only get it in a length of an hour.. they only change tapes every hour, but.. I am sending it to you as we speak... "
L looked over towards Watari before speaking "Good.. this should hopefully help"..
Kira would have had to been on that train, to trick Raye Penber.. of which he was having thoughts that somehow.. if it was Yagami Light.. somehow he had planned it enough so that someone with knowledge of the FBI agents names.. or someone who could get such information, would be tricked into telling him the names so that they could all die. It could be possible they were using some sort of short wave communication,.. almost like a walkie-talkie sort of setup.. but that would mean no recorded transmissions would be able to be tracked down,.. " As his eyes looked over the time of death of Penbar again, he realized something..
"Watari,.. about fifteen to twenty minutes prior to his death.. were their any recorded deaths.. from a heart attack later to be proven a criminal?"
L now opened the footage.. starting to skip through, fast forwarding, judging by how accurate their hour change overs where.. it should be about a quarter of the way through..
".. L their was one.. he was a rapist.. who got of the hook, and.. he died today from a heart attack .. downtown, about five minutes away from a station.."
Watari seemed to know were L was going with that, and then thought for a moment.. It could be possible maybe to get JT to interview any possible witness's and see if they saw Raye Penber with a person close to him.. their would have had to be a time where they exchanged direct words,.. and the person was just Kira proving he was Kira, to create fear in Penber.. to make him feel as if he cooperated.. that would possibly mean no death. As the footage got closer and closer to it's mark he sighed before speaking
"Well just as I thought.. Kira proved who he was to Raye.. this means he had met him before, and has to be one of the people that were under his surveillance.. and that were not to far away from downtown.. possibly, which still fits Yagami, it would have taken a little bit of travel.. but I want you to try and find witness's of the death... in such an area their must have been many, but Kira would have been with Raye.. So what i am thinking is we get a picture of Raye.. and Light, interview the people who watched the proof of Kira.. and ask if they saw this person, Point to Raye's image.. and then say was anyone like this nearby.."
Watari seemed to just look at him in slight amazement
"Always working out something aren't you.."
L after working that out felt his sugar craving come back up and so quickly again, gathered himself another piece of that cake, eating it before noticing the footage was passing Raye Penber exiting.. He quickly went back, watching in slow motion the death,.. and then seeing the FBI agent turn the way he did, to look onto the train.. Kira was on that train,.. it was for certain.. and in the door seemed to be a reflection gazing obviously in victory.. roughly at the time the FBI agents started to collapse..

JT now was approaching Light, wondering what he had to say about the buss jacking. "Light Yagami?" She asked.
"Yes that's me." Light said, looking at a young woman, a student? It was hard to tell these days.
"I'm JT." She said and showed him her badge. Since her real name wasnt on it, she was in no danger.
"How can I help you?" Light then asked, politely as ever.
"I'm looking into a buss jacking that occured about a week ago and a description given by the buss driver matches you. I'm hoping to gather some information about the incident and I'm trying to find people who were on that buss." She told him.
Light's head was racing. Why would she be looking into this, if she too was on the KIRA case then it was bad news, but if not. Besides he hadn't heard from the police she was on the KIRA case, it hadn't been on his father's computer, then again she could be investigating this without the police of course, maybe work alone or just with L. If she came to him she had to be pretty sure. Lying to a detective like her or L would be an almost completely futile excercize. He was sure she knew he was there, did she know about the FBI agents? "I was there, unfortunately. I wanted to take my girlfriend to Spaceland. After that buss jacking neither one of us was in the mood for that anymore." Light said.
"That's understandable. What bothers me about the incident is that he suddenly started to hallucinate while the tox-screen in his autopsy came back clean. He was also described as very on edge. He had failed to rob a bank earlier that week and was most likely even going through withdrawal symptoms so it wasn't drugs. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. But could you please tell me what happened?" JT asked, trying to get Light to open up, to convince him it was just about the buss jacking and not the KIRA case.
"Well around 11:30 he came in, pointed a gun as the buss driver's head, forced him to call spaceland, then yelled into the phone that he wanted all the cash fromt he day before, that he knew they still had it and that he wanted a female employee to meet him with the money two stops from the park. I dropped a piece of paper and when I tried to pick it up he did. He made a comment about me planning for a date, then turned around. It was after we passed under a viaduct that he turned around and started to hallucinate, yelling to someone who wasn't there. He emptied his gun, ordered the bus driver to stop and got out, then he was hit by a car." Light said.
"Thank you for your time." JT said.
"No problem, I hope you find your answer." Light said and smiled slightly.
"Bye." JT replied and returned the smile.
"Bye." Light said and walked off.
JT grinned, one more stop to make before going back.

All L could really do at this moment was think, he had taken the recorded part out of the footage by editing and was now trying a trick the police usually used, to try and gather a person's face off a reflection.. the angle if just slightly different would have shown Kira.. he could tell that by the look that Raye gave as he died.. it even looked like he said something.. It was short, as it left the FBI's mouth.
"Watari.. can you come over and check this out.. I want to try and work out what left Raye Penber's mouth when he died.."
Hearing this Wammy started to head over, he had so far found a few witness's that would allow for such a interview that they would receive.. one being called Seth Tzuko.. already with that name, he had the location of the person.. were he worked and even a mobile number if worst came to worse.. even L could do something with it,.. of which he would tell him after trying to help out with what L had found.
"Alright play it at a slow motion.. maybe we can at least work out partially what it could be.."
L started to do such a thing starting it from the beginning and slowing it down to about eight times slower then it was, sure this dragged on a three second footage.. to about a minute.. but it was definently just one syllable.. possibly a name.. Was it Kira's name,..
Since it would have taken recognization of the person, if it was Kira, it was definently someone Raye Penber.. who was the closest to finding Kira. Quickly he clicked out of that opening the list of files with the people that Raye had been ordered to watch.. Light.. if it was simply said instead of Yagamii.. or Yagami Light,.. it would almost fit perfectly.. that was enough evidence for him from that footage. He had given up with reflections.. but that segment.. It just had to be..
"It could be a name.." that was all Wammy said before starting to walk away..
Already L had worked that out.. but it was just more confirmation to him.. Now he just wondered how JT was getting along..
"L I have a witness.. that saw Kira's killing to prove he was Kira to Raye.. He gave a police report about it not trusting how the death occurred. Maybe he saw someone with Raye.. I think you should call him to try and gain more information."
L nodded to such a thing before starting to prepare his phone flicking a switch nearby that would distort his voice to how he sent it to people.

JT rang the doorbell to Naomi's appartment. Naomi opened the door and recognized her. "Hello, JT how can I help you?" She asked.
"First of all my condolences for your loss and can I come in please, I'd like to have a word." She said. Naomi nodded and stepped aside. JT stepped inside and closed the door. She hung her jacket on the hatrack and followed Naomi to the livingroom. She took a seat across from Naomi. "I know you're a top agent. I know you resigned, but if it was me in your position I'd want to track KIRA down. You still have the mind set of an agent. Although I think the KIRA case is almost done, something could go wrong, if it does L and I could use all the help we can get. Would you be interested?" JT then asked.
"You're right, I do want to track down KIRA and if you need help, I'll gladly take the job. I'm also glad to hear that the case is close to ending." Naomi said.
"It is, but like I said something could go wrong and your face and name are still on the FBI website. If you were to go on your own KIRA could find out your name, I or L can make sure to change your name on the website tot he alias you'd be using for the duration of the KIRA case. Please don't act on your own, this is not a normal case." JT said. Naomi nodded handed her, her card. JT smiled. "I'll talk this over with L and I'll call you either way. But I'm sure he'd be happy to work with you again. You did a really good job on the BB case after all." JT said. Naomi nodded. After saying goodbye she looked at her watch. Time to grab some food and return to the hotel room.

Slowly the phone dialed the number that had been found, today had been a rather quiet day for L, more thinking then actions.. but they were getting rather closer to Kira, and so that was what really mattered.. He was almost feeling certain Yagami Light.. was the culprit, intelligent.. something that such a person would need trying to outsmart L,.. or more accurately trying to find a way to get to him,.. and find out more about him without getting caught and so far,. he had done that reasonably well, but really he was a little reckless with the method of taking out the FBI agents.. and even though their was spaced time.. that was probably done to lose suspicion.. since Raye investigated a few others.. but coincidences did not happen, a robber that seemed to have no reason to be there at that time.. entered a bus,.. eventually screams and shoots at something not their.. and then gets hit by a car afterwards.. even L had managed to find a police report and the fact that the criminal had died.. Kira.. it was well devised but something that just did not happen everyday.. and so was out of place. It seemed no answer occurred and so he redialed only to hear a male's voice pick up this time.
"Seth Tzuko.. i have noticed that you were a witness to the death of a rapist.. in the downtown segment,.. mind giving me a few details about the killing?"
On the other end he heard a breath been taken before the person started to speak
"Well.. we were all just walking around not really organized.. the victim was just casually applying a broom to the floor simply cleaning the area in front of a shop.. when he suddenly seemed to have a heart attack.. Their were no other warnings.. other then the actual event.. so when asked, I got them to file it with the Kira cases.."
"Hmm.. do you remember the look of people around you.. when most people crowded around.. did you at any stage glance out from such a thing.. and see anyone seem not interested and walk away.."
"A few people were like that.. but not many want to see a death..."
"I might have some other questions to ask soon.. but for now that is all, in the next day or two.. I will have someone visit you to try and confirm a few images.. after all, I L,.. am trying to solve this case and now have new help.."

Finally she was back, it had been quite a long a day. She knocked on the door again and smiled when Watari opened. She stepped inside and walked back over to L. She had some Chinese food with her. One was a duck prepared withhoney and what not and was known for tasting sweet with rice, which would be fine when L would empty a cup of sugar in it. Time for something different then candy and she had asked them to make the taste extra sweet. She had something more simple, fuyung hai with noodles. Not too bad either. The restaurant had a good reputation so it should be alright.

"Hey, here's dinner." She said. she sat down and put her bag down next to the chair. She wanted to get some plates, but was happily surprised Watari brought them plates two knives and two forks. "Thank you." She said. "Oh and we got KIRA hook line and sinker." She said casually wondering how L would react. She reached into her backback and took out the signed statement from Takada and the tape and pushed the play button.

L did not speak to Seth for much longer, since what he had said was enough to say. According to some information just given then though there seemed to be two people.. that walked off strangely, first noticing the death,.. and then something was said to the one behind him.. and a look of dread crossed this man.. before the two left the other following rather closely behind.., although that might not be Kira.. it was worth a check, maybe he had been a bit foolish and if so this could possibly even be more of a hit to catching Light.. wait here is L already thinking who it is.. the two of them just needed to gain as much more possibility before making a move..

Slowly he turned to here food was here, after all he did partially smell it. It had been a while since he had realistic food like the one he could smell,.. although he could already tell it would need extra sugar.. as most things did for him. "Hmm.. we do?" He looked at her as if to say go on.. it seemed she really had been trying to grab information.. the more personal way, which was quite impressive for JT.. because usually he had heard it would take her a little longer before being able to get to that stage.. but because both her and L knew roughly the same information.. it was enough for her to start instantly grabbing information "Interesting.. what intrigues me.. is the fact that it was said that he started to shoot at something not their.. Is that possibly a shinigami..? and if so.. did Kira.. somehow cause this person to see that before dispatching of the criminal?.." he was running questions over to himself before he also started to speak "I have footage of the death of Raye Penbar.. it seems that Kira was on that same train.. you can tell when he turns to it looking at it.. and saying what looks to be a short name.. which slowed down looked like a few things.. one of them was Light.., and I have a witness of Kira's proof killing.. in downtown.. of which from a quick talk.. it would seem that he saw the two.. together,.. but I want you to confirm it JT.. he witnessed that serial rapist's death" he was thinking of how to say the next part..

".. but one thing I have worked out also.. is Kira can't be to far from a train line.. because he killed on the way to one.. and then seemed to continue riding the train.. of which I am pretty sure it is a loop train.. that would get him back towards his location.. of which their is a station reasonably close to the Yagami's house.." saying that he looked at Watari who had brought plates before deciding to dish up the sweeter of the meals, before trying it.. and rushing off to the kitchen, but Watari stepped in front of him before holding out the sugar "Predictable as always L.." Wammy then laughed lightly before starting to walk back towards his computer.

"It is a loop train, it finishes its round in a bit less then an hour. He made Raye Penber stay on for an hour and a half, which is odd to begin with. I guess he didn't want to stay on long after the agents started to collapse. The investigation would lead to the train and the station and if he was on there for long the more chance he'd get caught or pulled in for questioning. He made Penber stay in so long because then he would be able to get off at the next stop or the one after that, but he got off closeby. And Light's house is close to the second stop after the station where Raye Penber died. Coincedence?" JT said and looked at L, then started to think over what L had mentioned over a shinigami. It had occurred to her too and if they both came to that conclusion it was more likely to be true.

"That part has been bugging me too. On top of that there's no human that could make the weapon KIRA is using right now, so I wouldn't be surprised if a shinigami is involved. Also we know that spelling mattered in the way he kills. I already believed it was something to write with or on, I'm now certain it's something to write on and that piece of paper that the hi-jacker picked up was part of it. If KIRA's weapon did come from a shinigami it would only make sense that the person who touches it or apparently part of it can see the shinigami. Light tricked him into touching the piece of paper and therefor revealing the shinigami to the hi-jacker. At least that's the one thing that seems to make sense right now. I'll go talk to your witness tomorrow, most people don't appreciate being questioned at this hour and since he's not a suspect we shouldn't make him uncomfortable. On top of that I'm going to a judge and get a search warrent for the Yagami residence." JT said and filled her plate and sat down on the couch and began eating.

It seemed so far, the two of them were on the same level of understanding,.. which only made reason to believing such things more strong. Usually because when two rather accomplished people like JT and L agreed on something it almost guaranteed that they were correct and that meant Kira really would be done for before he knew what hit him. It was risky for her to visit such close people that connected to Kira.. and possibly she even saw Yagami which was a dangerous move but luckily her name.. of what ever it was, did not exist anymore except to those who had made the deal.. to see such a thing,. Something that Kira would never do.. and something that neither of the two detectives knew about. "They were not to bad on the phone.. but that was about fifteen minutes ago,.. but personal face to face talks.. I would not recommend at such an hour... Seth Tzuko after all might end up rather important if he recognizes Light.. being with Raye, at the time of that Rapist's death.

Already now the sugar had been mixed in thanks to Wammy knowing that L would go straight for such a thing.. so that had decreased the time of finding it.. using it and placing it back. Now it was the right sweetness, just how he wanted it. He finished quite a few mouthfuls before starting to speak. "Hmm I would like to assist you in that search.. this might be a risky move for me to make.. but I need to make it, others risk their lives and so I to must at least show Kira.. the face of his main enemy.. but if we could time to search it when he would be at school.. that would be the optimum time... but I want to see how he lives, and see possibly what sort of person this Yagami Light is.. just to help prove the fact that he is Kira.. which is at a seventy two percent chance.."
