Elika could see it, the Fertile ground in the distance. They were so close and things were going smoothly. Elika looked at the prince with a small smiled as they slowly slid down to it. Just a few more steps and they would be there. Elika stepped onto the fertile ground and slowly began to try and make the land uncorrupted again but something was different about this one. She didn't know what but it was strange, the land felt different. As she stepped onto it, she looked around and began to use her magic unaware of the corruption sneaking up upon them both. She was having a much harder time trying to cleanse the land and before long she could feel the corruption getting closer. She turned to the prince. "We have to go" she said sternly quickly stepping off the circle. It was to late however as a large blob of corruption slammed into the prince swallowing him whole. Elika just stood there. "Hey, hey!" she said hoping the prince wasn't swallowed by it.
