What types of games do you play?

I like anything open world....especially if there are horses. =D But I'm also really into Sims and right now I'm playing Spyro Reignited and omgg the nostalgiaaa.
I was stuck on Skyrim for a bit but all the broken quests broke my resolve.
Sometimes I make it impossible to sleep by playing the Paranormal Activity VR.
 
Video: Mostly some old 90's games like Crash and Spyro, old D&D style RPGs like Champions of Norath and Balder's Gate, and newer ones that are mostly either survival or RPG's, like Skyrim, Fallout 3 or 76, Seven Days to Die, some assorted others like Jak & Dax or Dead By Daylight, or finally some Indie games like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons or Doki Doki Literature Club.

Board/Tabletop: Kill Dr. Lucky, Red Dragon Inn, Settlers of Catan, Smash Up, Clank!, Risk, and I've always wanted to get into D&D but never have.

Computer: Used to love Runescape before it was remodeled a few years ago. Played Celes Arca for a while. Other than that, I haven't done much on computer or MMORPGs.
 
Used to be console but now I'm pure PC. A17 dropped recently and I'm totally into 7 days to die, war of the walkers mod. It's addictive! My friend's trying to get me into Ark but it's crazy how fast you can lose 27 hours straight of work when raising a baby dino! Also groovin on friday the 13th and my absolute favorite addiction is Deceit. It's hella fun whether you're infected or not! I have my green splotch though! *smiles proudly* Has anyone else managed to get the Demon Rachael? Shame on me for not mentioning I'm also playing Left for dead 2!

PC: Europa Universalis 4, Skyrim

In general though I prefer RPG and RTS games, since I tend to get deep into the lore and my characters.

Base builderrrrs. I love base builders, colony sims, builders in general... Prison Architect, Rimworld, Don't Starve, more - recently added Academia: High School Simulator to the mix.... I love base building games to death. The more complex the better!

I'm also very fond of my zombie apocalypses, especially the survival/crafting ones - Project Zomboid has been a favourite of mine for a couple years now. It's been regularily updated, with beta builds at almost all times, and the last public release was about a month ago. Even when there are no beta/public build updates, we still get a written update on progress every week.

I also enjoy Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons (and hence Stardew Valley as well! I followed it for a few years before release), Crusader Kings, and thanks to my boyfriend, No Man's Sky. I'm also fond of the Pokemon series, and some RPGs are quite my jam! (Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance and Sword of Mana, both for the Gameboy Advance - aka I first played them at 8-9 - are to this day some of my favourite games).
 
I tend to prefer single-player games due to how toxic multiplayer, especially competitive multiplayer, can get at times. I also like being able to go back and re-do things a different way if I'm not happy with the end result, a feature that's typically missing from multiplayer games.

RPGs make up most of what I play, followed by 4X games. I've long loved the Heroes of Might and Magic series, and my mind was blown when I discovered that the world(s) of the first four games were set in a science-fiction universe, self-contained terraformed modules where much of the magic and artifacts were actually high-tech devices from an ancient precursor race rather than the magical artifacts they were regarded and presented as.
 
I mostly play (J)RPGs like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and the Tales series from Namco. Lately I finally started playing the PS4 Spiderman game and oh man it's so good. I've also been playing some Dark Souls III but I'm stuck on a boss so I'm taking some time off with that one haha.
As for tabletop, I have a few dnd 5e games running, and I also love playing boardgames like the Betrayal at House on the Hill and Who Goes There.
 
I’m a console gamer PS4 & Xbox One. Though I am tempted to buy a cheap gaming PC to play all the old Real Time Strategy games I have missed out since I last owned a decent PC. Mainly Company of Heroes 2!
