All passengers are to board Flight 562 to Australia, which will be arriving in Sydney in approximately sixteen hours.
The loudspeaker crackled loudly above, and the young man turned his chocolate eyes upwards to quickly check the screen hanging from the ceiling, confirming that he and his friend's flight had indeed arrived. With a single huff he hefted his backpack up, and his duffelbag, as well as his friend's duffelbag so that he seemed a bit like an overburdened mule. Not that it mattered, he'd been taught to carry women's things for them and open doors for them like a good boy.
He was just at six feet tall, with a small goatee on his chin and a very sweet look on his round face as shaggy hair sprinkled into his eyes.
"Alright Shibby," Alex said, shaking his head to free his eyes from the oppressive dirty-blond hair that sometimes obscured his vision. He was of course addressing his good friend of many years, and now lover Sibel...but her nickname was Shibby, so thats what he called her. With a gallant effort he extended his hand as if to help her from her seat, even though the idea was a bit comical given that he was so weighed down by luggage. At least it wouldn't be very far to walk. "Let's get going!"
Away he flopped, wearing flip-flops (for easy checking at security), bluejeans, and a white t-shirt under a black button-up shirt that served as a jacket at the moment. Alex was a strong boy too, though also a bit pudgy himself, like a stereotypical mid-westerner though he hailed from Texas. But he made up for his slight physical short-comings with a lovable sense of humor and a great personality - gregarious and outgoing. He smiled at the ticket-taker who raised an eyebrow at him when he tried to pass, carrying enough gear for an extended stay in the wilds of Australia, it seemed to her. All the same he managed to be ticketed, board, and then load his and Shibby's stuff in the overhead compartments or otherwise stow it below the seats. Once his friend took her seat, he gripped her strongly on the arms and smiled.
"Off to down-under," he said, kissing the pretty thing on her cheek and taking his seat beside her. It'd be a long damn flight...but at least he was in good company.
