Approval?

Hi, I would have tried to privately message the moderators/admin, but I'm unable to.
I've been registered over 24 hours, have made 11 posts and I'm still unable to initiate private conversations? Is there a delay on approval at times, or have I done something wrong?

I'm also assuming my inability to change my avatar is related to not being approved?

I'd like to think it was 'voicing concerns publicly and respectfully, because there's probably lots to manage on this site and I'm not a bellend'.

The way it works is kind of wonky. It runs every ten minutes, but it sometimes is full of hate and only processes you on a new session. If your IP is static this can take a while.

If someone is stuck, logging out and back in should usually force it.
