Your support makes Blue Moon possible (Patreon)Hey, i'm Zeroshade. I've been away from roleplaying for a while now and was hoping to knock the rust off and get back into some awesome rps. Since other places I used to rp are either gone or mostly unused, I figured I would give this site a try.
I'm not too picky when it comes to post length as long as there is enough for me to work with. I try to match the posts of whoever I rp with, though I tend to settle within 1-3 paragraphs per post.
I like my rps to have story that drives the action. Smut is fine, but I lose interest if it's purely smut based.
I'm not a picky person when it comes to the plot of an rp, but I enjoy having elements of sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural abilities or phenomenon, adventure, or mystery involved in some way to keep the story exciting.
I prefer to play male characters, and any romance pairing I would like to be malexfemale. . If you would like to double up characters I would ask I play 2 males and you play 2 females if romance or smut is involved with both. But extra characters can be anything.
I don't particularly care for fandoms, but don't mind if we are both playing original characters. I don't like playing cannon characters because I likely will never play them the way they were designed. Using a setting, plot, or other ideas as a way to make our own story with original characters I think is fine though. I do think that if you want to do an rp on something I'm not familiar with that you will need to give me the rundown on whatever we are doing, I don't really have the time to watch a whole series just to have an rp that doesn't last or doesn't use much of the information I took time out to watch/read.
As for plots, I am pretty open to ideas, here are a few I could think. I'll add more as they come to me
Never Meet Your Heroes
The phrase never meet your heroes comes from the idea that everyone thinks that their hero is someone that is perfect in every way, and doesn't have anything to hide. This story revolves around a normal person that is saved one day by a superhero. After being saved, the person realizes something off about the hero, either that their attitude/personality is different than when fighting crime, or that they really didn't want to be a hero in the first place.
Hidden gifts
In this plot, it takes place where a virus was released by an unknown scientific corporation, infecting almost everyone, causing a high fever and a few days of bed rest for most, but some people had much different reaction. The virus left a small amount of infected individuals with supernatural powers, anything from lightning fast reflexes and inhuman strength to control over elements and ability teleport, disappear and make force fields. This causes mass panic, and forces the gifted to blend in as much as possible, as the government and the corporation that created these gifted are looking to contain them and hide them from the public for their own hidden motives. This could be 2 gifted finding out that the other is similar to them and finding ways to work together to stay hidden, or a gifted that is hiding and a hunter that is looking to trap the gifted, that may have second thoughts when meeting them in person.
Interview with a Villain:
Getting a chance to meet with superheroes is something that always gets covered in the papers, as there is always that one reporter that befriends or ends up being saved by the hero. So much to a point that it is a common thing to see interviews of heroes exclusive interviews on tv and across news everywhere. But what happens when a daring reporter makes a deal with a super villain to get a story no one else can. This once of a lifetime piece could make this reporter known as one of the best reporters ever, but can they handle the crazy life and twisted world that a super villain thrives in to get the interview?
and a few other less thought out general ideas
Bounty hunter x bounty (this would be Cowboy Bebop style space bounty hunters with similar setting but original character)
Bounty hunter x Bounty hunter ( like the idea above only 2 bounty hunters going after the same bounty and deciding to work together)
Detective x suspect/witness to a crime
