Midnight Academy from the looks of it was just as grand as it had been made out to be. It kind of had to be considering the people it was taking in. Those with the power to change the world with their minds, and of course their abilities. The teachers there had been prepared for this and knew how to deal with them, even those that would be considered power houses. But once again there was a new year of people who had come of age that are gracing the academy halls with their presence. This year however there was talk of high tensions between the countries. Since the reveal of superhuman abilities, it had been like an arm race in a way to scrounge for the best possible people that can be used... But as far as the public was aware the school was just a scouting ground for those who will have a rather bright future ahead of them.
One of these new students was Harriet Carter she and her family were informed that she would be taking part in the academy a few months prior. Staring up at the large building she closed her eyes for a moment, wondering around her what the people around her could do, and where they could have come from and what positions their families were in. Needless to say though she was eager to show what she could do. Taking in a deep breath she moved in through the halls, making her way to the room she had been allocated in the dorms, along with a majority of the students that had just moved in.
