Solaris Diamond (with the larger ears) Twilight Diamond (is the smaller eared one)
Solaris Diamond was sitting under the shade of her transport, with her daughter, waving to themselves from the heat. She was ready for the to get the palace to meet the queen and hoefully her daughter would be accepted as the queens new hand maiden. Getting the palace can't come soon enough I could use a hot bath, and some clean clothes. I wonder how Twilight is faring in this heat though she hasn't said much to me yet. How ever as their caravan traversed into the desert. It wasn't long before they entered into the forbidden zone that no humans dared go through because if the monsters got you there or the gods did. You didn't come back nor where you ever heard from again.
How ever as they crested the next sand dune, it was there that, that something horrifically tragic happened in front of her eyes up arouse around them male jackals, they did look the same, and they had their weapons drawn and they proceeded to slaughter every male that was within the caravan, even killing those that had transported her , and her daughter causing them to fly out of the safe and into the sand. The impact was enough to knock both of them out, even as the dying screams of those being killed broke the desert air.
When they both came to, their eyes opened briefly to see the jackals moving towards them, and then they knew no more, after that. When they next awoke it was to find themselves deep in a dark cool cavern, and at first one of them spoke.
Twilight was the first to rasp out, and to gain the attention of the males. "Is that Anubis?" But no when they came closer she realized that it was not anubis though they did certainty look like him. And they were stroking something very large. Her mother finally came too and spoke upon catching the last few words her daughter spoke of.
"No Twilight that is not anubis, I don't know who they are, but I think they mean business with what they are stroking. This is not the way I had hoped to introduce you to a male, but I think they are not going to give us much mercy."
