Narita had been at her new school for a few weeks now and she was still just trying to find friends. It had been really hard so far. Even though it was only at the start of the school year - starting anywhere as a senior was hard. All of her classmates already knew each other and finding a place in the tightly knit groups were not something you just did, when you already had a hard time speaking in large groups. It also meant, that you couldn't simply sit out, when the first party of the year was thrown. Not even if you didn't normally go to parties.
She knew, that every other 17-year-old her age was more than accustomed to both drinking and partying, but she had never really felt comfortable with intoxicating substances in her blood. It always made her feel weird and out of control. As it turned out, this night she would have been better off avoiding the party as well. Who did it, she never would know, but even though she had kept to sodas all night, she started to feel very relaxed and generally friendly - something clearly overwriting her shyness. One thing let to another and after having talked to a group of the football players, she found herself on her knees in front of each of them after turn, blowing each and every one of them. If people knew her well, they might have noticed, that her eyes were glazed over and that her words came just a little too late, whenever she actually did speak. But no one here knew her well enough and if anyone noticed, they didn't care. Narita herself almost didn't register, what she was doing.
