For centuries, two powerful beings have been at war with one another, fighting over territory and food. Each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and abilities that led to countless deaths during this never ending feud. One fed on the blood, the other meat, but their source of food was the same and the availability of that source was what started things in the first place, especially when that food source started to fight back. Both hunted at night as well, making nights that should of gone off without incident into bloodbaths. The idea of vampires and werewolves ever achieving peace was far for anyone's mind. The war has gone on for too long, too many lives lost, too much bad blood between them. Peace was thought to be impossible. Until the day that their food was getting better at hunting their hunters. Humans have known of their existence for centuries, but originality most believed vampires and werewolves to be made up creatures made to scare other humans. Soon though, more and more of them grew to believe them to be real as more people were found with bite marks and dead bodies were discovered torn apart gruesomely. Now, never every human was armed to the teeth in weapons that have killed many of each other's kind much easier then ever before. Both werewolves and vampires numbers were dropping faster then growing as they tore each other apart and were also killed by their food. Something had to be done, or else, both races will be hunted down to extinction. That when the talk of something happening between werewolves and vampire that has never happened before, nor thought possible to happen: peace.
The Vampire Council met with the werewolf leaders on neutral grounds and began discussing their very real problem and how it could be possible to put centuries of bloodshed to rest against a common enemy. That was when a deal was struck. While the Vampire Council ruled over vampires, there was one person in particular in a more powerful position then the others known as "The Elder". He was considered the leader and voice for the vampiric people and was father to a beautiful young vampire who was showing potential as a very strong and influential leader, one rumored to be the one to take her father's place when he passed. The werewolves also had a leader, an "Alpha", they called him, who possessed a son who was quickly following in his father's footsteps and was greatly respected by other werewolves. With these things in mind, the idea of unifying their people as one was deemed the most appropriate symbol of this union should be a marriage, and in time, children that will forever bring the two races together to make their future youth even stronger then their parents and even more capable to fighting against humans. When news of this spread, it was met with mixed results. Some rejoicing in the idea, seeing it as they're only choice in a time of dire need. Others, however, threatened to kill everyone they saw who supported the idea seeing them as lovers of their life long enemies and traitors to their own blood. These threats were even made towards the Vampire Council and it's leader, even his daughter. He began to worry about his daughter's safety. While she was a formidable fighter and very skilled in her abilities, she could overpowered if enough of these people ganged up on her while she was alone and fear for her safety began to spread to those who agreed to the arrangement. If the daughter was killed, it could be the end of their race. Then, it was decided it might be best for the daughter to spend some time away from home, not only to meet the one she's been arranged to marry, but to keep her away from the very people who want to hurt her. While there was no doubt that plenty of werewolves were against the idea as well, the Elder saw it as a risk that needed to be made. Sooner or later the two would have to meet and he planned on figuring out who were the people behind these threats while she was away. Besides, he believed the werewolves wouldn't let any harm come to her, or else, everything would fall apart. It was a tough choice, but it needed to be made.
And decision was made. Emilee would be sent away from home to be placed into the care of the werewolf alpha and her betrothed, at least until things have calmed down at home. At first, Emilee tried to tell her father that she was capable to handling these people threatening her and she had to prove to her people that she can handle any threat that could be imposing on the safety of those who were innocent, but there was no arguing with him. Emily had proven herself time and time again to be a respectable fighter, but it wasn't enough to convince her father to keep her at home. His wife even begged him to reconsider, finding herself unable to trust her daughter in the claws of savage werewolves, but her begging fell upon deaf ears. She was to be sent into werewolf territory at first moonlight and that was the end of it. It had been perhaps an hour since Emilee had left her home. She's never felt so nervous in her life. She was heading into the belly of the beast to be with people she's never met before and had a natural instinct to attack her. However, if they wanted things to go as planned, they shouldn't be a threat to her. Yet, it wasn't enough to stop her nerves. When she was told she was going to marry a werewolf, she was shocked, angry, and even felt betrayed by her father at first, but after much discussion, she realized that this was something she needed to do. Her people's future depended on it and if she was to be forced to marry a man she didn't know, one that was suppose to be her bitter rival, to do it, then she shall. For the longest time, Emilee believed she'd be with another vampire. Her beauty as well as her abilities had earned her a few suitors back home, but none of them would be with her now. Emilee was already a beautiful woman, but because her parents wanted her to make a good first impression, she left her home in a way that nearly made her previous suitors want to challenge her betrothed for the right to have her, but knew better then to do so. Her black hair looked soft to the touch as it flowed down to her mid back and flowed over her shoulder. Her side swept bangs drew attention to her stunning sapphire blue eyes. Her skin was pale and cold, but otherwise flawless and soft against one's fingers. She wore a sleeveless dark blue dress that did little to hide her well developed chest, giving one a good view of her cleavage, but with taste. The dress hugged her body, showing off her thin waist and good hips, giving away the slightest hint of how firm and well rounded her rear was underneath it. A little sigh left her lips feeling the carriage coming to a stop and tired to compose herself, knowing that the moment she stepped outside of the carriage, she would meet the man she was arranged to marry.
