Setting: Medieval Fantasy
Name: Olara Verdantine
Age: 20
Race: Mixed Race, Human & Orc
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance:
As fortunate as she was, there was never any hiding Olara's half-orc nature. She was lucky that she didn't inherit tusks or minor horns from her father. Still, there was no denying her skin was the unmistakable orcish green. Her hair was an inky black that she often left to grow past her shoulders and to the middle of her back. Her eyes were slightly angular, like many orcs. However, her eyes were the same tunning blue as her mother's. Her face also took after her mother; soft edges, kind eyes and an easy smile that often turned mischievous.
As a child, Olara was always bigger than the other children, always taller and finding it easier to put on muscle. By the time she was fully grown, Olara towered over most human men and stood eye to eye to eye with many orcs. Only the largest of orcs could look down upon her. Her body was also muscular and toned. While she could swing a battleaxe or a great sword as well as any full-blood orc, Olara's muscle was lean. A lifetime of hunting and running after prey left her nimble and quicker than other orcs, though not quite as strong.
Olara was capable of wearing heavy armour and had done so on many occasions. However, she preferred to dress in furs and leathers, which gave her greater speed and flexibility. When she was out hunting or working on her farmstead, she often wore more revealing clothes in the fashion of the orc clans, enjoying the feeling of the wind on her skin and the freedom it gave her. However, when she visited human towns and villages, she would happily put on more layers to make them feel more comfortable around her. Though try as she might, there was little that could hide her ample breasts, long toned legs or perky ass.

Bio:
Olara was born the bastard child of a Verdantine Princess and an Orc Warlord. The humans and orcs of the northern kingdom of Kalingad have always had a contentious history. Thousands of years ago, the land was home to just orcs. In those days, they were surprisingly peaceful people who cared for the land. They lived a nomadic life, migrating throughout the vast country over the course of a year. But everything changed when the humans arrived.
Centuries of conflict saw the orcs become more warlike as they fought to defend their home. While many remained in their homeland, other raiding groups sought to take the fight to humanity elsewhere. Thousands of years later, orcs are more widespread than ever, valuing strength over everything else. The orcs that remained in Kalingad settled in the mountains and foothills, building defendable towns and villages. The land was torn in half between humans and orcs, with the orcs claiming their side was the true Kalingrad. Wars and conflicts were thought over the years, and the borders shifted, but nothing truly changed. Until Olara was born.
Olara was born during a time of peace previously thought impossible. Her grandmother was the human queen, and she dreamed of reuniting the realm. Orcish leaders were invited to peace talks that dragged on for weeks, with one of the most respected orc warlords surprising everybody. He, too, longed for peace and, working with the queen, a tentative peace accord was struck. Orcs and humans would be seen as equals across the realms, and the warlord was to become advisor and right hand to the queen. It was during the peace talks that the warlord met Olara's mother.
The princess and the warlord formed an unlikely bond, and a love affair began. Both knew it was wrong and could threaten the peace, but they didn't care. Then Olara's mother became pregnant and did the only thing she thought was rational. She ran away. The peace was too fragile to handle a royal child of mixed race. She left a note claiming to have travelled east in search of adventure. After disguising herself, she settled in a human village on the human/orc border, where she gave birth to Olara.
Hiding in plain sight, Olara was raised on a small farmstead on the outskirts of the village. As the only mixed-race girl, she always stood out. She has few friends among the human children, and fellow orcs were seldom seen in the village. Olara learned to enjoy the solitude, and when she wasn't working on the farmstead, she was either hunting or practising with a sword. By the time she was a teenager, she was a deadly shot with a bow and could handle a sword as well as any of the men in the village.
Meanwhile, her head was full of stories about her father. Her mother would tell her tales of his adventures, altered to leave out details of his identity or to make him seem like a great noble adventurer. Before long, Olara wanted nothing more than to become an adventurer and a hero like her father. Her first taste of this life came when she was just fifteen. Bandits sought to hold the village to ransom after kidnapping some local girls. However, Olara fought them off, slaying many with her bow and wounding more. To her surprise, Olara found she had gained the respect of the village in a way she had never imagined, while one or two of the girls were very appreciative.
By the time Olara was twenty, she'd had a few more minor adventures and was itching to leave her home behind and see more of the world.
Possible Ideas:
For anyone looking to take a GM role, I'd love to explore the idea of Olara becoming a travelling mercenary, venturing beyond the lands of her kingdom as she takes on all manner of jobs, gains allies and beds lovers. We could even see her gather some permanent followers as she starts t build her very own mercenary company.
When the queen, Olara's grandmother, passes, a great celebration is held in her honour. Part of the festivities is a tournament, open to any. Knighthoods and great rewards are promised to the victors. Sneaking away from home, Olara enters and proves herself to be a skilled warrior. She wins at armed combat and archery. After being knighted, she is also offered a position as royal protector of the crown princess, her cousin. But, of course, neither of them are aware that they are related. Initially, there is a clash of personalities between Olara and the fiery, rebellious princess. Over time, a taboo, forbidden romance blossoms between the two women. Being at court will also see her come face to face with her father. Will either of them be able to figure out if they're related? How will the princess react? And is they history of heartbreak destined to repeat itself?
After assassins kill her mother and attempt to kill Olara, she is hungry for vengeance. As she hunts down the killers, she finds herself going up against an extremist group that seeks to usurp the peace, vying for human supremacy. They somehow discovered her true lineage. Once Olara makes the same discovery, she finds herself tangled in a web of conspiracy as she fights for vengeance and to protect the peace.
