Born on the BCCC „BriCoCh Colony” as a minority would have led to a life of drugs, prostitution and being a low-life. But while she looked the part of the californian blonde, and her looks and luck was not enough to lift her out of the masses, being born with the right genetic markers and she was choosen to participate in a military program at an early age. Intelligence and willpower was what she had enough to not only succeed, but to surpass what the genetic uplifting could do in its own.

While eidetic memory would lead her with success in academic and technological studies, it was her reflexes that put her off from the medic/techie line of occupation in the Mech Corps. At the time she finished the schools and officer trainings to have the right skills for what they first intended to do with her, it was already obvious that she was not only ambidextrous and double jointed, but could easily learn and re-act moves too.

Growing up practicing Tai Chi Chuan and keeping up a reflex and movement focused fitness regimen, she easily took to the mostly male dominant Space Marine courses. Instead of making her stay in a field base and fully care for the tech and soldiers – as they first planned for her with some appearance and pheromones alteration too – she was given choices and objectives to better herself.

That she also had nothing to loose and no real family to get back to helped her focus on them. Spending all her earned credits on useful implants, nano and biotech she basically became her own personally funded equal to the best male counterparts in the Space-Military. Given the opportunity to not just work with, but pilot the ACPA/MECHs it became obvious that while she could run circles around them but her heart was not really into the maximum metal wars. Her intelligence and studies as a technician and medic had more impact on her personality that even she would have thought.

The only way to keep doing what she was so good at was if she joined a military contractor of some kind and get a loan of the most versatile field mech. Without the weapons, of course… After all, getting weapons later and installing them would not be a hardship, seeing that she was one of the architects planning and building the mech. She could get - and got - the prototype that had her measurements and movement range built in, something that meant they could never use it fully as it was intended to with another pilot anyway. So, she made sure to upgrade and update all the systems inside it before leaving. It was not like she did not had ’friends with benefits’… Altered to be the playbeing for male and female soldiers from the start really helped. She was still sent away with stinging last words from her platoon leader.

And having such a small ACPA in the MECH sized loading crate also left space to add some other experimental or old prototype add-ons with the right toolkits on the sides...

Outfit Description: A blue Datafilm, or datasuit as it is also called, this incredibly thin skintight suit is meant to be worn under powered armor, and transmits the wearer's commands to the landmate. It protects against acids, alkali's and other chemicals, lets sweat escape while repelling water and cushions shock. If the wearer is knifed with a normal blade it would hurt a great deal but the blade would not penetrate the datasuit. Abowe this she wears her personalized designer uniform of Space Marines - if not her ACPA. Which makes her more fast and deadly...

Gear/Mech: The „chassis”, or „bones” as military people call it is the MilitaryTech’s Highwayman External Hyper-Contractive Linear Support. It is an update of the old Gunslinger frame, and the chosen basis for the powered armor for LEDiv’s Special Ops Teams. Using Contracting Crystalline Poly-nucleitide Lattice „muscles”, - a plastisteel fibre with electrically controllable lenght, and a significantly lighter weight -, instead of the more conventionally mechanical linear frame for the private sector’s power-loaders make it possible to add MilitaryTech’s P-Steel Composite Model for the Armor „cover”, - similar to the Enamelled CompSteel of Russian Arms Ltd. just half the weight because the 0G Orbital technology. What it means is that close to five inches of „steel” is moving with five times of the strenght of the ACPA’s user… And thanks to the Virtual Interface and the neural smartlinking, it moves even faster than the experienced pilot could without the PA. And it still just counts as one of the medium powered armors, because while one hit with its fist it could damage another of its kind, to really affect the pilot inside it would need to kick it really good. Painted with a grey camouflage pattern, a little lighter in the front, a little darker on the back could make it fit right at home in the sky or under the sea. For all other ground based action, there is always the possibility to wear a camouflage poncho...

Filled with all the goodies a versatile marine could need to keep going even if submerged or in space, the additional suites of external equipment able to make it really dive or fly nobody would need a better powered armor... Unless there was really a maximum metal war going on.

And this unit that she "wears" is built with her in mind, including the size, the weight, the feminine form, and the double jointedness. Not only the frame was resized, but the inner workings too, to let her utilize her own considerable augmented strenght, movement and reflexes. The frame only being twice her weight, and the armor adding a same amount to it, if needed, she could move in it even powerless. Of course only after she ditched all externally mounted add-ons.

Bio: Raised in an orphanage on Europa Colony 9.0, Amy found life to be difficult. She was forced to work from a young age, as the orphanage pretty much kicked her out when she was 14 due to overfilling. She was always a pretty young thing, with long fiery red hair that fell to her waist, bright turquoise blue eyes, and fair, slightly freckled skin. She stood at about 5'7", and weighed a lean 133 lbs. She took up a job in a garage, working as the cleaning help for less than minimum wage, but hey, it kept her fed. The older men who worked in the garage took a shining to her, and when she was 16, they gave her an job as a trainee mechanic; she took to the lessons and learning like a starving man took to a plate of fresh food. By the time she was 20, she was working alongside the older men as an equal.

When she turned 24, she heard of a mercenary group who was looking for an engineer, someone with plenty of experience working on tech and fixing machines. Wanting a chance to see the universe beyond her colony, Amy signed up with the crew and was more than happy to display her hard-earned prowess working on ships to the man in charge.

She is nothing special, no enhancements or anything, but she will run and fight with the best of them. Her weapon of choice (if you force her into combat) is the oversize wrench she carries with her. It weighs about 19 lbs, and is three feet in length; most people try to avoid fighting in close quarters with her because of that reason.
Skills: Tinkering, sewing, hiding, basic first aid, engine repair, ship repair, cooking, and singing.
Religion: Catholic..ish. She has a rosary that was given to her by the nun, Sister Marguerite, when she was thrown out of the orphanage. She keeps it for sentimental reasons. She doesn't really hold to the tenets of the faith much these days, though.
Outfit Description: She wears a grey tank top under a denim jacket with a patch of her merc company on it, camo pants with a black belt, and a pair of shiny black work boots. Around her waist is also usually a tool belt, which aids her in the maintenance and upkeep of the ship. Around her neck hangs a red kerchief, and perched on her head are a pair of goggles; both to keep oil or other ickies out of her eyes and mouth. Her long red hair is kept braided up and out of the way so that it doesn't get caught in the machinery. Also accompanying her outfit is usually a few smudges of oil here and there from where she's been working.
Best Memory: The summer when she turned 12, Sister Marguerite allowed her to stay up later than normal and catch fireflies in the gardens.
Worst Memory: Being thrown out of the orphanage when she was 14, despite Sister Marguerite's begging and pleading; the orphanage was overcrowded.

Captain Philip Armand Chevalier was declared dead in 2883 after the fall of New Toulouse where he and his separatists were killed in battle against government forces. His body was never recovered after the city capitulated the only trace of him was an eye near where some of the bombs had dropped. A sniper with over 150 confirmed kills and responsible for nearly 700 million+ dollars in damages to government property, it is safe to say that he is one of the most terrible threats to the united states that the general public will never get to know about.

He was born in the City of New Toulouse at St. Lazarus's hospital on september 22 2863 to Kepler and Jane Chevalier Bounty hunters by trade they gave him as good a life as they could in their home city, what was a rather uneventful childhood was changed with the sudden death of his parents in the great spaceport explosion of 2874 which found him being taken care of by his Maternal Grandfather and known secessionist agitator Gaspard Deproix which may explain why when The planet of Toussaint attempted to declare independence in 2883 he quickly became the face of their revolution. Young, Charismatic, and a tactical genius (he gained the title of chess grandmaster at 18) the Loyalist Garrisons didn't have a chance. It took a year for the main United states fleet to arrive at Toussaint and no one was prepared for the sheer devestation that the war would cause to the once lush planet. The City of New Toulouse was the last to surrender with 80% of the inhabitants dead or missing. Major steps have been implemented by the DACA to contain knowledge of the truth of Toussaint so that these embers of rebellion don't catch on in the more distant colonies and that Phillip doesnt become a martyr for another revolution.

When in combat he would pilot his Mech remotely with the use of a program only referred to as Agamemnon and used it as an anvil to his highly mobile hammer, a prototype 2908 Mueller Rail Sniper Rifle capable of downing some of even the most heavily armored mechs available to the DACA , raided from an R&D compound on Toussaint. After the labs destruction another has yet to be built as the plans were lost.

About 7 years ago Phillip made his away aboard The Dawn Horizon, and has made himself indispensable ever since, not talking about his past much and being known as something of a womanizer when he is off duty he makes up for his faults by while on ship maintaining a position similar to a tactical adviser, and while off ship making problems disappear from nearly a mile away....

If you are born in a FreeCom slum, you have three options. Military service, back-breaking and poorly paid work, or a life of crime. Diana chose both. Criminal families in the FC paid good money to enforcers with military training, and Diana figured it was a safe bet to join the military, do her time, acquire some hardcore survival skills and then become a mercenary for the crime lords. Diana was quickly found to have awesome reflexes and hand-eye coordination which were boosted further through soft implantation (the practice of using organic materials with artificial cores rather than purely artificial modifications, cheaper in the long run and easier to maintain, though less powerful over-all). These made her into a hip-shooting maestro, and also helped support her more than considerable `outwardly physical assets´. Moreover, they allowed her to use power armor in a way few soldiers can: manually. That is, overriding some of the automated movement processes and routines to give the soldier more control, something ill-advised for anybody that has not gone through extensive modification or simply lacks the talent for unassisted powered movement. Diana was found to have the latter, and became a minor celebrity in the FC through her televised demonstrations of hip-shooting in power armor.

What nobody expected was the start of a civil war in the FC. Cities burned when a few criminal families banded together and tried to obtain power through a campaign of terrorist attacks followed by more conventional means. This put Diana in a bit of a conundrum. If she fought for the government as she was supposed to, her plan to join the criminal underworld as an enforcer was shot. Nobody would hire someone with that baggage. If she joined the rebels, there would be hell to pay if the government won. However, there was another option, reasonably cleaner if less convenient.

The government won the war in four years. Four years in which Diana acquired hard-won experience, a number of promotions up to the rank of captain, and three female comrades she could trust with her life. With the end of the war and the draw-down of forces, the young woman had the chance to stay in the military and make a career of it, but chose an honorable discharge instead. It was time to join the private sector with her team and make some real money.

Gear/Mech: The Black Hun power armor is held as the highest standard in military hardware for heavy infantry all throughout the galaxy. Though it adds a few inches of height to a soldier, it keeps the warrior at a reasonable size to engage in infantry warfare including urban combat, infiltration and boarding actions. Most importantly, the Black Hun is very modular and possesses a power system good enough to allow a soldier to carry four times his own weight, or exert strength to an equivalent level. This suit makes an infantryman a threat to anything smaller than a medium-sized mech unless special countermeasures are employed. The sensors and communications systems in the suit are state-of-the-art, and Diana´s suit in particular includes a command and control module with advanced anti-ECM measures, environmental mapping sensors, and an anti-jamming system. This puts her ability to draw an accurate picture of the battlefield and transmit it to her comrades easily on the level of command-focused mechs, which is in line with the FC´s military doctrine of having the infantry act as scouts and commanders for mech pilots.

One of these suits is several times cheaper than a mech, but power armor is way more advanced than even the latest mech, so it is difficult to obtain and a pain in the ass to repair. It is no wonder the spare armor suits and parts Diana and her team put together are kept under lock, and only Diana herself knows how to get through them without tripping cunning and cruel booby-traps that will make any would-be thief regret even thinking about stealing them.

Team: Diana needed people she could trust as part of her infantry team, both in and out of the battlefield. She hand-picked them from those she fought with on the battlefield.

Elena is the team medic, trained for battlefield stabilization but with no real knowledge of in-depth surgery. Her job is to keep her teammates alive until they can be evacuated. Carries the standard combination of rifle, grenades frag, stun and EMP, but most importantly, medical supplies including artificial blood, tourniquets, suit resealers and other equipment of that type.

Not particularly interested in medicine, but keen on marrying a well-off surgeon and having a house somewhere in actual nature.

Marielle´s job is to lay down suppressing fire, but there are more tools to do this nowadays than just a machinegun. While she enjoys using her .50cal HMG, smart mini-missiles and autonomous mines are very much in season and she has learned to use these to devastating effect. Easily recognizable on the field for the massive backpack in which she carries the munitions for whatever weapon she chose to bring that day.

Big fan of old techno music, back when it was still all about the beat, instead of the more modern combination of sound and micro-vibration drones.

When an obstacle stands in the team´s way, it is Crystal´s job to get rid of it. She is a breaching enthusiast, adept in the use of portable battering rams, explosive charges, good old kicking, and her baby: a railgun that doubles as an anti-armour weapon, though it takes a very confident, very skilled, and very well concealed user to take on one of the big mechs and survive even with one of these. Crystal is enthusiastic, but not stupid, and it would take a very big bonus for her to try doing something like that.

If Crystal is unaccounted for, it is best to look for her not under rocks, but under men. She used to be a prostitute before joining the military, and never did get rid of ALL the mods...
