So tell me what you think of them. This is only a few, and I made them a loooooooooong ass time ago on a website called Allpoetry.com.

Stop and listen

Raindrops come
raindrops go
the earth weeps it's tears
and flowers bloom from the nectar.

Skies turn gray,
the ground turns dark...
thunder booms, and raindrops come.
Each with a melody, of the earth.

Sad is the day,
but in the end comes our shine.
trees grow tall,
flowers bloom bright.

Nature heals itself in time of use.
Skies return blue
clouds become white...
and the sun shines through...

Stop and Listen to nature's tears...
they will heal you one day.

What you worked for.

For women to lure men,
and for them to follow,
giving coos and calls,
having men take the falls.

When men court women,
and work their magic,
working to the prize in bed.
it's what you worked for.

The satisfaction,
and glory of it all,
one of the best feelings you can have.
It's what you worked for.

For her to give up,
and open her legs,
the man not having to try,
is not worth it.

Lead us, lead us!
forever on the hunt,
bring us that lusty satisfaction,
it's what you worked for.

Rise of Dawn

The fall of dusk,
One life comes to us,
another one is taken away....

With every rise of the moon,
every set of the sun,
life makes changes upon us,
Together we fall,
Together we rise.....

Those unrequited emotions lost,
those whose hearts hath wasted their warmth,
We who have expelled our love...

The stars that which twinkle,
The empty blackness that swallows us,
The light that saves us,
Friends who defend each other,
and Foes who strengthen us...

Without her touch,
There's no strength for me to fight,
Wake me to the world,

The world so clear,
Yet life so cloudy,
What's this worth without that guiding hand?
Together we'll go unto hell,
Together we'll see the Rise of Dawn.....

Lemme know if ya'll want to see more. :) and of course criticism is welcome.

I'd be happy to see some more of yours, King.

I dig What You Worked For, it reads well... I think your beginnings are much stronger than your endings, to be honest. Do you read poetry, too? Have a favorite poet?

Yes I have the random house treasuries volume II of Poetry. and my two favorites at this moment are Robert Frost and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Hmmm, I could try to make my endings a tad stronger, though I don't forsee me making any new poetry for a while lol.

The Midas Touch

Everything I ever touched denied me in gold.
My embrace even killed nature itself.
The food I wanted, denied to me by my touch.
Yet...when I touch you, you aren't denied to me.

I have your warmth and touch in my arms,
complete all to me for my lusts and love.
Mine to keep, and never weep over as gold covers.
Your skin stays smooth and untouched, warm and soft.

My arms, feel shivers of joy, and tension.
My heart pounds in your heat, in your passion.
The thoughts of my mind race, knowing I can have you.
This 'Midas Touch' finally defeated and tamed.

The first to have me, and your alone.
Our songs of love, and sex ring through the world.
Gold left behind, and still you shine brighter than it.
Our sweat earned in our fun filled nights, touch to touch.

Here I'll hold you, forever and ever.
Never to be gold, and ever to be loved.
Know me my love, feel me my love, and hear me my love.
My Midas Touch no longer plague me....I love you so.

Reflections

When I see you,
When I see them,
When I see myself,
I see reflections....

My own reflections,
like ripples in a pond,
I watch myself grow,
year by year I change...in these reflections.

A world untouched,
a world so new,
opposite of ours in every way,
Reflections so pure...

In these reflections we see ourselves,
in these reflections we see our friends,
in these reflections we'll find our peace,
In these reflections we found our soul....

Sanguine Love

Upon that cotton hearth rug,
bathed in that soft gold light,
I feel your body upon my bosom
Together we'll sing our song.

Upon that one moon laden night,
Under the watchful eye of Luna,
In the arms of ones' better half,
Together in each others hearts.

The caress of your skin,
the feel of your shiver,
The touch of your bosom,
and the love of your smile.

Upon that cotton hearth rug,
bathed in that soft golden light,
I took your love, and you took mine,
Unto each other our sanguine love, together....forever.
