â??Nian try to keep things a little less messy tonight okay?â?

His bossâ??s words echoed throughout his head as he swung his katana. He watched the blood of a bodyguard splatter all over the white walls of the large corridor and grinned widely. How could he ask me such an impossible question? Nian thought as he spun out of the way of another guard striking him in the back with his katana. Mmmm, how the sound of his blade cutting through flesh sent him into a deep state of bliss. The assassin moaned with pure satisfaction as guard after guard fell before him by his blade. Nian fought his way down the hall until he came to a large set of double doors. An intricate design of a snake like dragon rimmed the entrance, the handles in the shape of apples. If he wasnâ??t mistaken it was pure gold. Why did rich people always have to spend insane amounts of money on foolish things? Nian thought as he grabbed the apple shaped handles twisting them slowly. Inside he heard a bit of shuffling and knew he had a lot more work ahead of him. He was satisfied with that. Nothing brought more joy to him than taking anotherâ??s life.

When the tall male entered the room an insane amount of guards pushed him back. He flew into the hallway wall, a hard â??thudâ?? echoing softly. He only laughed at their silly attempt at keeping him away from their master. â??You all are worthlessâ?¦pledging yourselves to such filth.â? Nian insulted as he pushed himself from the wall cutting through the group of men blocking his way. One.. he thought as he brought his blade down, swinging diagonally the blood of his enemy dancing along his body. Fiveâ?¦Tenâ?¦fifteenâ?¦. He moved gracefully, his preyâ??s men falling two by two, perhaps five by five until none were left. Thirtyâ?¦ Nian thought as he approached his mark.

Nian grinned down at the cowering male before him. â??Ahahahaha!â? his sinister laugh echoed throughout the completely destroyed room adding to the already eerie feel the bloodstained walls and floors gave off. He had a bad habit of vandalizing things as well. A trait of himself heâ??d never been able to break. â??P-please sir spare my life.â? His mark pleaded, tears streaming down his cheeks. â??You should have thought doing that before you sent your thirty some guards after me.â? Nian spoke holding his arm out toward the dead bodies and scattered limbs throughout the large office roomâ?¦

Ari sighed as he looked at himself in the mirror of the suite. He was dressed up to his 'client's tastes and was prettying himself up for the night ahead of him. Ari looked around in the dressing room as he got ready, slipping his trademark daggers to his sleeves and strapping them down. The boy was dressed in a special outfit, a female's one to accent his natural form. The dress looked almost like a ball gown, though designed to show quite a lot of flesh, while resembling a kimono in shape. Ari looked up at the mirror, his miscoloured eyes scanning over the outfit, it covered his upper and lower torso but showed his shoulders and arms, where the soft skin of his upper arms were concealed. The sleeves were attacked further down, long sleeves that were designed to take the eyes away from any possibiliy of a dagger hidden under them. A wrap covered Ari's legs, designed to allow him to crouch and jump more easily and was seperated from the top to show his Middriff. The boy had done his hair into a rather ornate, oriental look, placing a pin through it, one he would likely kill his mark with into the messy bun of dirty blond hair.

Upon entering the area Ari was granted a grizly sight. There was blood everywhere, on the walls, pooled on the floor, even splattered across the ceiling, strewn across the room were corpses of men of various types, gore and other material was also scattered around. Ari's eyes widened in genuine shock as they fell onto the mess, even he was not used to seeing THAT much blood. The boy raised a hand to his lips in a mute gasp, those miscolored orbs darting around the room, finally catching sight of the instigator of this massacre, who was in the process of finishing off Ari's mark!

The boy's face remained an expression of shock and horror as his brain tried to take in what the hell was going on... Another assassin? The boy resisted the urge to allow his eyes to narrow, he knew that he wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell trying to fight the guy with the big-ass sword when Ari's weapons looked like toothpicks in comparison. Ari stood there for a moment, all pretty and ready for his kill, looking like a scared little boy, when his brain finally took in what was happening, Ari couldn't decide whether to be pissed that this guy stole his kill or releived that the greasy jerk never got the chance touch him, Ari didn't know whether to try to stab this guy or thank him....

Ari just stood there, frozen in place, brain and body working against each other, would this guy try to kill him? He had no problem butchering a small battalion of guards, he would probably not have many issues slaughtering what looked like a very beautiful boy in a dress. Ari's right hand went closer to his sleeve, his muscles tensing in case the other assassin did not fall for his act or attacked him anyway.

â??You are patheticâ?¦â? he snarled driving his katana right through the man. Honestly he couldnâ??t stand those who begged for life when they have taken so many. â??to think one such as I would spare a life such as yoursâ?¦â? he glared, his bright silver eyes seeming to flash crimson red. His mark breathed heavily his life slipping right through his fingers as he tried to hold on to it. â??Be glad you died such an honorable deathâ?¦â? as the words rolled straight off his tongue his arms tensed. The muscles in his arms tightened as he drove the blade from down in the manâ??s stomach up. Blood gushed out splashing all over him as it cut through the flesh. Up, up, and up his blade glided until the man was split in half. Nian laughed sinisterly as he brought the blood drenched blade up to his sensual lips. He ran his tongue along the dirty blade tasting the other. His mark fell to the ground with his blade no longer supporting him. His insides fell out onto the floor, blood spilling out of him a deep puddle forming underneath him. He brought his blade back down at his side sheathing it slowly, the blood piling up until spilling out. Dripping onto the floor, the crimson liquid made a soft â??splatâ?? as it crashed down into the puddle of blood that reached his feet.

Iâ??m going to enjoy cleaning this later. He thought referring to his katana. As he turned to leave, Nianâ??s eyes narrowed. Hadnâ??t he killed everyone in the building? Who the hell was this person? With a sigh he approached the much shorter person. With each step he took there was a soft â??squishingâ?? sound as the blood moved to the surface then sank back in. He stood before Ari, his silver eyes seeming to glow as his face was almost completely drenched by HIS markâ??s. Come to think of it, his whole body was covered in blood. It looked as if heâ??d taken a shower in it.

His silver eyes roamed the otherâ??s body in curiosity. â??Whatâ??s a pretty little thing like you doing wandering around here? This is no place for someone as fragile as you.â? Nian spoke in the calmest, softest voice he could muster up. He still came off a little blood thirsty though. He didnâ??t want to scare him off. Or did he? A chase wouldnâ??t be so badâ?¦neither would tasting him. He grinned widely as his hand anxiously caressed the hilt of his sword. Mmmâ?¦demon chase would be a fun game to play with her. Nian thought. Gripping his sword he drew it. Before he even got to finish his actions his cell rang. It was surprising how the thing still worked since he was practically covered in blood. Sheathing his blade, once again, Nian dug into his back pocket pulling out a small black phone.

Nian was 6â??7â?, had long black hair, silver eyes, and a strong build. Nian stood tall dressed in nothing but white[well red now]. He wore a white button up shirt that wasnâ??t so buttoned as all the buttons were popped during the fight. He wore white slacks, and a pair of brown sandals to top off his laid back look. Nian He intimidated most people with his stature, but they seemed to warm up rather quickly when they looked upon his angelic face. Or tense up when heâ??s like this. Or run and hideâ?¦. Most likely cry. Sometimes a combination. He assumed this person would opt at all three. And who wouldnâ??t? He was drenched in god knows how many peoplesâ?? blood, just got finished making minced meat out of his victims, and finally did what most people called sick disgusting, tasted the blood of his victims.

Ari could only really watch as his prey had been ruthlessly slaughtered by this other assassin, the boy had to fight down both rage and disgust as the entrails spilled out over the ground in a grizzly scene, he couldn't help but watch, the cloth of his sleeve covering his lips and nose to filter out the foul stench that resulted when the man soiled himself upon his death. Ari almost gagged with the smell of the blood when the murderer turned his attention towards the seemingly unarmed, completely innocent looking boy.

Ari's heart picked up, beating in his chest almost loudly enough to heart as panic tried to seize his brain. Ari fought this feeling off, just staring, his eyes wide with faux horror as he tried to figure out what to do. As the killer approached him Ari took a step back, deliberately allowing the man to draw much closer than he could, while remaining out of range of that nasty looking store. As the man approached Ari began to tremble, activating the scared little boy routine in his head. Ari's brain raced as the killer approached him, his eyes darting around the room, he needed to get close, since he stood no chance against a guy wielding a sword that huge.

"T-those men were holding me prisoner" Ari stuttered the words, his act perfectly practiced "They were going to do horrible things to my body" The boy ran his slim, feminine fingers down his belly to attract the man's attention to the area, drawing his eyes away from his hands as one of them reached into the other sleeve and began drawing one of the knives from it's holster. When the man withdrew his phone Ari saw his moment, moving toward his new prey with a nonthreatening movement, his eyes wide and innocent as he approached the man, drawing in incredibly close to him, to where he couldn't be slashed and wrapping his arms around the much bigger man in an embrace. Ari didn't know what this man's reaction would be, but he was so cute, so harmless looking "you wouldn't hurt me would you?" Ari said in a seductive, yet frightened voice as he slowly took out the dagger from his sleeve. "Please spare me, I would do anything..." Ari looked down, away the man, his face twisting into an incredibly uncharismatic snarl, pointing the steel of the dagger to his distracted adversary's back, when his own phone rang.

The boy would have pressed the blade in but instead he jumped back, again out of range of his foe's blade with a graceful and agile movement, away from the smell of blood and filth he had to bite his tongue to avoid retching at. The boy withdrew his phone, a small, bejeweled object, and popping it open to answer it. The news he was to get would not make him happy, it was his current Mistress, the Mayor.

Prisoner eh? Honestly he was much safer in their care than his. Whatever they had planned for the young boy he would do ten times worse. As his boss blabbed incoherent words into his left ear, his silver eyes followed Ariâ??s fingers as he traced them along his stomach. Was he trying to seduce him? The thought almost made him laugh really. He was sort of oblivious to such things. For something like that to effect him, he must be in the mood or have come onto the other person first. Nian watched as the boy suddenly embraced him. What the hell was he thinking suddenly hugging him? Did he want to die or something?

He bit back a snicker at the absurd question the other asked him. Of course he would hurt him. He was clearly in the mood for more bloodshed and asking silly questions like that, trying to appeal to his better half by playing on his emotions would only get him killed. Spare him? Oh now he was skating on very thin ice. Didnâ??t he just see what he did to the other man who asked for mercy? Nian had no compassion or a conscience for that matter and would slaughter anything that crossed his path. Women, children, innocent, or guilty, he wouldnâ??t think twice about killing either or. His fingers danced along the hilt of his katana as he felt an extreme wave of annoyance wash over him.

His boss was doing that thing againâ?¦ He was blabbing on and on about how much he appreciated his work and how much he enjoyed his services, not only that the strange little extremely feminine like boy was pressing his luck pressing so close to him without his permission. Snarling softly, his fingers pressed into the black phone hard, the plastic making soft crackling noises. â??Look, will you just get to the point?â? he demanded impatiently as he looked away from Ari. And the point he got. His jaw literally dropped as his boss delivered the bad news which was supposed to be good. His silver eyes narrowed down at the seemingly innocent boy. From the description his boss gave him he realized the boy was the infamous Ari. A genuine surprised expression of sorts made itâ??s way to the usually settle face of Nian. He went to reach for the deceiving little brat but he was suddenly out of his grasp, his cell having gone off. He mustâ??ve been getting the same call. â??You canâ??t do this to me. You know I donâ??t do well with partnersâ?¦â? he nearly growled into the phone as anger and rage filled him.

He sighed. The situation was hopeless really. His boss had already made up his mind. The only thing he could do to prevent a partnership would be to quit and go to another agency. That was out of the question though. His employer let him do what he wanted. He gave him free will. He could kill and slaughter anyone on the premises when he was on a mission, and he didnâ??t want to give something like that up. â??Try not to be so messyâ??. The words came back to him again as he analyzed his â??partnerâ??. â??Hm, I suppose thatâ??s why he asked me that.â? Nian thought as he ran his fingers through his hair. â??A mission? So soon?â? he actually enjoyed back to back missions but he honestly didnâ??t want to work with the boy. Really, how could his boss do this to him? â??Fineâ?¦Where do I need to be?â? he asked pouting a bit succumbing to his employerâ??s wishes. â??The hotel across the streetâ?¦alrightâ?¦talk to you soonâ?¦â? like the good guard dog he was, Nian accepted his mission. He was never one to go against a master whoâ??s shown so much appreciationâ??well unless they were to double cross him.

When Ari received his new mission through his cell phone, he spoke through the phone, resisting a laugh as the other assassin attempted to grab him, easily dodging out of the way from him by taking a single step back. Ari spoke through the phone, that dagger that he was just about to bury in the back or neck of the other assassin leaving his sleeve and twirling around in his fingers, purposely exposed to the other assassin before Ari snapped the phone shut, terminating the call before looking up at his new partner. In that moment, that cute, frightened little boy vanished and the assassin took his place. Ari's lips twisted from a pathetic frown to a confident smirk, his eyes reflecting the change in attitude as he dropped the act of the pathetic, scared teen, also seeming to lose all interest in the other assassin.

Ari's twisted smirk did not falter as the other assassin terminated his call. The boy no longer looked scared at all, he didn't even feel scared, though he was surprised that the other male didn't react to the fact that he had just passed minutes from his own death. If Ari's cell phone hadn't rang, he would have severed the spinal cord of his fooled prey. Ari gripped the handle of the dagger as he looked over at Nian, his back straightening steadily before he moved to wipe the blood off his face with those slim fingers and sticking his fingers into his mouth, taking the blood off of them.

"Well then" Ari's real voice was still soft and sensuous, but it had an edge to it that showed the boy's disposition as a killer "It seems we are partners now" Ari wasn't particularly enthused with the fact he would be working alongside a common murderer, then again, he could tell within the man's refined features that he was none to pleased to be working alongside the boy either. Ari allowed a pout to take to his lips, pressing the cold steel of the dagger to the plush surface before looking out the window at the hotel where they were supposed to meet. Ari could imagine this guy wouldn't be to happy that he had lead him on and had been seconds away from stabbing him, he was still dangerous. The boy's fingers tightened around the hilt of the dagger as he looked over at the other assassin, reaching up and letting his hair fall all over by taking the pin from the bun "So, handsome, what is your name? I am guessing you have figured out who I am already..." Ari looked at the pin "I am really going to need to shower after this. " Ari spoke the second bit mostly to himself but still aloud. Embracing that man like that caused Ari's entire front to be covered in blood, though his outfit was mostly red anyway.

Ari was still pissed that this man had butchered HIS mark, he hid that forcing himself to be thankful that the old pig never got to lay his fat, greasy hands on Ari's body, the thought of the freak feeling him up just sent chills down Ari's back. The male took a couple steps towards the door "Well, I guess I might as well introduce myself anyway, my name is Ari" The boy settled his hands on his hips, shifting his position to one leg as he liked to do when waiting for a response from the other.

Ari's boss hadn't actually briefed him on what he would be doing for this mission, so he was sure they would either be briefed later, or the other man would have been briefed for them, telling them the target.

â??Partners my assâ?¦â? Nian snarled as he brushed passed the smaller male, heading toward the exit. It was pure bullshit that they had to work together. Even though he wanted to make his boss happy any way he could, he didnâ??t think he would be able to do this. There was no doubt in his mind, that this would be the start of a horrible relationship. He wasnâ??t a people person at all. The only conversation Nian had ever held with a personâ?? wait noâ?¦ he only ever talked to corpses. They were quieter and so much more understanding. A forced partnership would fail completely between the two of them-- especially since they had two totally different styles of executing their missions.

â??My employer informed me that the details to our next mission are in the hotel across the street from here.â? He managed a grin as he looked back at Ari. â??As long as you stay out of my way Iâ??m a hundred percent sure that this little predicament weâ??ve been forced into will blow over smoothly.â? Hopefully he was right. Maybe their bosses would like decide that a partnership between the both of them was a stupid ideaâ?¦ like it was. He left the room and began his way to their next destination. Prayfullly, even though he was a bit of an atheist, Ari wouldnâ??t follow.

The stench of blood lingered in the lobby of the five star hotel. Nian stood before the connectionistâ??s desk, the sighed trying to recall the name he was under. â?? C-can I help you sir?â? All seemed to be completely quiet in the lobby as the bellhops and maids stood in a corner near the elevators staring at the tall man covered blood. â??Um, yeah. I have a room reserved under Hallowayâ?¦â? he replied, the name popping up as he spoke. â??Um, hold on a secâ?¦â? she stuttered, seeming to shrink down under her desk like a mouse under the hard gaze of Nian.

â??Ah, mister Gregory Hallowayâ?¦ hereâ??s your keycard.â? She said with a forced smile, her hand trembling as she gave him the white keycard with their logo elaborately printed on it. â??â?¦â? he said nothing as he took it from her and headed to the elevator. The people close to it scurried away quickly avoided his path as he reached for the button pushing it. The room was on the tenth floorâ?¦
