Suggestion Deleteting or Stoping Thread - Or give Creators Moderator rights on their own thread

Hello,

Other sites offer Creators Moderator rights on their own thread. I used this feature only once, and I understand cost versus value approach, and why company is reluctant in implementation of such feature.

But what can we have instead?

Based on my previous conversation with BMR support, I realize that there is really no way Delete Thread Physically and Person who created a Thread has now way to Kick Participants out.

But can we have a functionality were Creator of the thread could Stop thread (or specific Participant) and prevent Participants from posting to this Thread?
Could you please tell me what Philosophical or Legal issues such approach has?

Am planning on doing this to a degree, at least for request threads. I've just been taking a break from programming for BMR lately, but will be getting back to it. : )
