It was quiet, perhaps a little too quiet in the Juuban Park area not too fair from the shrine where the girls had all met up at for their daily study group.
Usagi would argue that this meant that their enemy had finally retreated and weren't planning on coming at them for now, but of course the other Senshi
weren't so optimistic about the whole ordeal, in fact Rei had insisted that they still go check it out and of course Artemis and Luna backed them up.
Even Ami, who would've preferred they stayed in to study seemed to agree with the girls that their was just something unsettling about the lack of
activity, so the four of them decided to leave Usagi back at the shrine while they explored the area - they could always call her if something happened.
While Usagi didn't like the idea of being left by herself, she was in the middle of reading a really funny manga she had borrowed from Rei's collection.
Seconds turned to minutes which turned to at least a half hour and their was still no sign of the four Senshi that had gone off to check out the park,
which was incredibly worrying because at the very least, someone would've contacted Usagi to tell her that there was nothing to worry about. It was
only a second after Usagi had put down the manga when she saw Luna come into the room, obviously injured, to tell her that they were met with
an ambush at Juuban Park and that the total silence was likely because it was some sort of trap. Immediately, Usagi reacted, knowing she must transform.
Going as fast as she could, the blonde ran as fast as her legs could carry her to the location, barely managing to show up in time to watch Makoto
being flung into a wall and Minako attempting to use her love-me chain to stop the enemy that even Usagi couldn't recognize as their usual ones.
❝ Stop! ❞ Sailor Moon cried, attempting to garner the enemy's attention while her friends were helped to safety by Tuxedo Mask, who'd arrived just
a moment ago to help with the battle, ❝ Ruining a day as nice as today is unforgivable! And in the name of the moon, I will punish you! ❞
She was scared, as she usually was, especially because her friends were too busy trying to get to a safe place to recover as quick as they could before
they could even join her side again, but she knew that she had to stop, whomever this was, from hurting anyone. So she launched her first attack.
