Alex glanced in her rearview mirror and grinned as she saw the line of cars following her off the interstate. She had not planned to host a party at her childhood vacation spot, but it turned out she wasn't as sick of her classmates as she thought. So here they were pulling into Lake of the Ozark and losing a few trucks as a couple of the guys went into to grab food and drinks, but for the most part, they followed her through the town and along the lakeshore. The house was a good half hour away from town and tucked away in its own small cove which was great since it kept the house out of site from the rest of the lake. So no one would see the party Alex knew the sound would carry well into the lake.

It had been almost six years since she had last been to the lake with school and her trips with school friends she had not come back to the lake. Now with things just awkward at home after her transitioning she felt like she needed to get away from the family. They had been more supportive than many parents from what she had heard, but it still didn't mean that things had not been the same when she was at home. With time she hoped it would change, but for now, Alex had decided to get some distance and figure out what her next move would be now that she had graduated.

Pulling into the driveway, she swung her El Camino through the winding lane before she parted near the drop off that overlooked the lake and the house which had been built on a steep hill leading down to the water. It left the home without much of a beach, but there were at least three beaches just a few minutes away in the cove that it had afforded her quite a lot of freedom in her youth. Not having to worry about her parents always watching her and her friends as they entered adolescence.

Stepping from the car and stretching her arms up over her head causing her thin black crop top to ride up her stomach and just under her chest. She smirked as she a couple of guys paying a little to much attention to her. She held the pose and arched her back out making sure they knew she wasn't wearing a bra before chuckling and moving to pull her bags from the bed of the car. Alex wasn't surprised at all when she heard the gravel crunch behind her.

"Would you like some help, Alex?" The guy who had asked was about Alex's, and it took her a few moments to recognize him from one of her first-year classes.

"Sure, I would love some help, Jeff." She turned and handed him a suitcase and glanced past him to see if she could spot who had put him up this. It was fairly common knowledge that she was still a male from the waist down, but not everyone knew, and she was not sure where Jeff stood. But she would not pass up the help.

"Here let me take another one." He reached in and pulled out a gym bag and tossed it over his shoulder. "Where do you want these?" He was nothing but polite which annoyed Alex. She preferred people she could read and categorize.

"Follow me. I need to disarm the alarm." She grabbed a load of bags and headed down the steps into that wound around a retaining wall and over to the front door. She paused and checked her phone to make sure she had the right code before Alex unlocked the door and quickly disarmed the alarms. There was a note on a table by the door left by whoever her dad had paid to check the cabin and make sure everything was working. Slipping it into her pocket for later Alex lead Jeff to the master bedroom and set down the bags beside the door. "Just leave them here." Turning around she bit back a groan as she almost walked straight into the guy. "Right. I will get the rest. Why down you get a few guys and make sure everyone can get parked. But leave access to the road, so we don't end up carrying the beer and food from the road."

Jeff seemed a bit put out but took the keys Alex handed him. When he didn't move fast enough, Alex stepped around him and jogged back outside. Giving another set of keys to a friend she knew had to experience with boats she asked. "Mind unlocking the boathouse. Check to see what fueled up and bring me the keys before someone decides its a smart idea to race around the lake. Please." The girl laughed but nodded and took the keys.

The next few hours were almost pure chaos for Alex as she rushed around making sure everything was on and working while as people first filled the house then the dock as they explored the house. Which was not the largest with only three bedrooms and two baths but Alex was glad that her parents had not bought a large house since it would make it easy to kick everyone out once she was sick of them.

It was only after she handed the keys to the larger boat to someone she trusted and the music started did Alex grab her first drink. One became two and then six pretty quick. She was on the upper deck when finishing off her seventh beer and looking around for someone she might want to fuck that she noticed a boat entering the cove. She recognized the boat but wasn't sure if she knew the person piloting it.

She had always remembered, very clearly, the first thing she said when she had been brought here for a summer vacation all those years ago. "This place fucking sucks." And was promptly told to watch her damn mouth. This was to be a break from the fast paced life that was California, Los Angeles to be exact, and to be a sort of quiet time for her to spend with her Uncle. In the simplest of terms, Uncle Rico was a trip. The way he had greeted his youngest niece at the airport, looking like a carbon cut out of the Brawny paper towel man, with his flannel shirt and bearded face. The journey to his lake house had been amusing to say the least, how he called her out about learning to enjoy her time here and that it would prove to be enjoyable for her. Eventually, she had learned to deal with it, and had come back for just about every summer since.

This summer, was a bit different. Uncle Rico had taken the time to let her stay in his house alone, as he would have to be out of the country visiting their family overseas, gaining some cultural appreciation, as he liked to call it. Dulce Guvierra had no clue what that meant, but she doubted it was anything he could file on his taxes. It didn't bother her however, the wind shifting through her air as the boat moved out toward the horizon as though she were trying to chase the lowering sun. It wasn't long before the boat had found itself somewhere to settle, turning the motor off of the white, red striped machine only to level herself and dive out into the water. The first time she had gone swimming here, just some chubby girl with a loud mouth and a head full of hair, she hadn't really intended to make any actual friends on her summer vacation, simply gain the experience of being out in the woods as opposed to being on the beach as she normally was during the summer.

That had changed however, when she was out grocery shopping with her Uncle Rico only to find him chatting it up with some family. They seemed familiar to him, so much so that he introduced his visiting niece to their son and so sparked the friendship. They were around the same age, so it only seemed right, as the local kids were friendly but having a mutual who was also usually just a visitor seemed to help. Their friendship blossomed instantly during the summer, and for a few summers after, until one summer, it didn't. And this was fine, she had been aware that her friend wouldn't be coming, a result of the consistent texts they sent back and forth, however because adulthood did that, those conversations seemed to die down until those obligatory conversations appeared. While her friend was going through their own lives, she had dealt with her own, the sunny glow of California doing well, that added weight on her body slipped away, fell into curves that were similar to her mothers. Perhaps the only thing that really hadn't changed, was her smart mouth. But that was neither here nor there.

No longer was Dulce the short, chubby girl with a mouth as she appeared up from the evening water, shifting her fingers back through her dark blonde hair with a soft breath of air, eyes venturing to the ladder against the back of the boat. She was only about ten feet away, legs guiding her forward before she noticed a set of lights on a house that was usually dark.

It wasn't unusual for someone to rent out their lake house for the summers, getting back extra money with the idea of someone staying there for a few weeks in the warm house. Her uncle did that on occasion with their lake house during the winter, after all. Che stood on the boat now, wringing her hair out with a towel and decided to play the investigative card, pulling the black net swimsuit pull over on over her head once she felt dry enough and guided the boat back toward the docks. The sound of music and laughter greeted her once she got closer, the boat soon carefully parked, anchored, knowing her own home wasn't too far away for her to regret parking it there, though her curiosity was getting the better of her. Bare feet guided her up the dock, wet tresses of dyed blonde hair beginning to dry along her shoulders as she watched a pair beginning to get friendly near the opposite side of the dock, her eyes roaming over the familiar backside of this house.

For some reason, it hadn't occurred to Che of who it could be in the house, honestly suspecting it was merely renters enjoying their first night in the beautiful home. It couldn't have been Alex, or his family there, surely her Uncle Rico would have mentioned if that were the case before he left, as they still did carry on casual conversation; Criminals did that, after all.

Alex leaned against the railing and watched as the boat was anchored next to the dock. When she saw the women, who stepped onto the pier. "Holly shit!" Laughing Alex slipped her thin frame down the stairs and across the deck. When she got to the final set of stairs, Alex finally got a good look at her old friend and how she had changed. Gone was the chubby girl she had remembered. "Dam California I need some of that hot California weather!" She jumped the last few steps and ran a few steps before embracing Dulce in a warm hug.

It was only after Alex let Dulce out of the hug that she remembered just how much she had not told her friend. "So, I didn't know how to tell you over text." She ran her fingers through her hair pulling it away from her face until they ran over the shorter hair and it slipped back into place while she hooked her thumb through the belt loop of her jeans. "Why don't we go get a drink and catch up?" Alex had been hoping to see Dulce again to see if their friendship could be rekindled again, but this was not how she had imagined it happening. She had imagined calling her and inviting her over for some drinks when it was just the two of them.

Her friendship with Dulce or at least the memories of their summers had become something Alex looked back on often. Especially when it came to talking about family to pretty much anyone she met at university since she couldn't talk about her parents' criminal behavior and had to watch what she said regularly. With Dulce it had been different, they both had secrets to keep but even though they never really openly talked about what their families were involved in they also didn't have to hide it around each other either.

They had been quite a pair Alex was sure. She had always been thin and standing a few inches under six foot had never really helped her reputation, but when she hit puberty, Alex went from skinny to gaunt even as she did her best to eat for two. Alex had never felt comfortable in her body even before her teenage years, but it wasn't until she got to university that she felt like she had the freedom to find out why that was really.

In her haze of trying to figure out if she could find a familiar face among the people lounging outside the lake house, she was trying to decide if she was really at the mental ability right now to figure out a lie to slip in. There were enough people here that she could potentially blend in, but really the young woman could easily stick out if she wasn't paying attention. Standing at a solid five four, this was likely why her youth had been spent feeling like a beached whale, and perhaps what had pushed her to make sure that wasn't anything she dealt with into her adulthood. Between swimming regularly, and obviously enjoying her freedom to not be surrounded by Spanish meals every day, Dulce had managed to get her body to a place that she was comfortable with. The wood under her feet had just given way to the light bit of sand that soon gave way to grace, only for a tall girl to be bounding toward her instantly.

Uh.

Was this about to be one of those situations. Even if she had grown into an adult, Dulce was still one that could be caught in an awkward situation, wondering instantly if she should turn around and hop her ass right back in that boat. Unfortunately, before she could settle on that idea, there were arms wrapped around her and a voice she didn't quite recognize. "Oh my god." She was wrapped in arms and her own were awkwardly out to her sides, not quite wanting to hug this stranger because she had zero idea of what the fuck was going on. Was this some weird Ozark shit she missed out on? Goddamn Missouri. "Who the fuck are-" There was a pause here, words caught in her throat when the woman explained that she wasn't sure how to tell her in a text, blinking her bright eyes rapidly as though she were trying to focus.

"Alex?" No fucking way. "Nuh-uh!" Totally. There was an offer of drinks that she certainly wasn't going to decline, especially with this news that she was at least grateful she hadn't gotten from a text message, something she likely would have been in disbelief about just the same. But seeing her old friend in person, eyes roaming over the somewhat familiar face, recognizing those features a bit more clearly as she scanned them softly before they moved toward the familiar lake house. It reminded her again of childhood, coming here to get the other or Alex coming to her tio's to see if she was up and ready to head out for the day, the two looked damn near like the number 10 when they were growing up.

It wasn't long before a drink was in her hand, a pleased sound escaping her full lips when she pushed a lime down into her Corona and watched it fizz, just for the two of them to retreat out onto a corner of the upper deck. For the most part, Dulce had been silent, which was somewhat unusual, however there was a soft drink of her beer taken before finally she broke the odd silence.

"Where the fuck have you been?"

Alex grabbed was relieved when no one blocked her way as she led Dulce up the to the upper deck where they could grab drinks. She followed Dulce's lead and slipped some lime into her corona as they moved to the corner. She waved the few people who had noticed what had just happened away before she leaned back against the railing.

She wasn't surprised by the question but she was slightly surprised that it was Dulce's first question. "Um, university mostly. If you mean summer I did some traveling. Went to Europe, Asia, Africa and a few places in South America." She paused to drink a little bit of her beer before she continued. "I didn't mean to stay away for so long. Honestly, I didn't even realize just how long it had been. I was so focused on school and well other things as well." She gestured up to her body before adding. "I found out why I never felt comfortable. Gender dysphoria was really messing with my head but I never knew how to explain it till I got to school." She shrugs and sips at her beer again.

Wanting to take the conversation off her, she asked. "So what have you been doing the last couple years?" Alex had more than a few questions for her friend but for now, she was more interested in filling in the last few years. Everything else could wait until they were alone and had time to catch up.

Truth be told, this was the first question that had come to mind, the first one that had blurted out from her mouth that seemed a bit more easy to understand instead of "What the fuck Alex.", which was really just a vague question. It left depth, and perhaps seemed further invasive than what her old friend was willing to give. If it was any consolation, and really these were just things that she was mentally making decisions of in her head, her friend looked good. Alex as a boy had been awkward, gangly but perhaps that was just compared to her round self. Before, it wasn't anything she had ever really concerned herself with, because how could she? They were both friends during their adolescence, that horrible, pivotal time full of embarrassment and not really knowing and hot summers and - Taking another quick drink of her beer, when she pulled her eyes up from the docks and over to Alex again, her eyes naturally began to take in her face, looking for signs of familiarity.

They were there, even if those features had softened the way feminine touches would do, though she knew that if she had never been told, it still would have taken her a bit of glaring at the girl's face to finally get it. But then there was that apology, shaking her damp blonde hair lightly as though there was really no need, because there really, really wasn't. What Alex had done, was to be expected, things that happened during the summer were never permanent no matter how many times you attempted to keep in touch. People got busy, hell Dulce was busy, and things just kind of fall on the back burner. Gender dysphoria, it made her head tilt curiously, taking this as an explanation that she didn't quite need. Dulce had grown up the majority of her life in Los Angeles, where the sun shined right out of a Queer person's asshole. While there was likely a rift in certain people who found themselves uncomfortable with what Alex was doing with her body, something about it made the shorter of the two smile, even laugh a little bit.

"Well shit. As long as you're happy, mi amor." However here there was a pause, squinting one of her eyes in a teasing fashion as she added, "You still need to get some sun though." Though the conversation was soon pointed in her direction, what she had been doing for the last few years. It was tricky, eyes following a couple as they walked down the stairs, the male struggling in his drunken steps, shrugging her shoulders. "Pushing drugs to people like that," Pausing to take a drink, briefly remembering these were Alex's friends in some nature, turning her vision back to her friend with a knowing expression. "Spending my summers here is like therapy for me now, yknow? Swimming, dealing with gringos trying to fuck with tio Rico's shit. He's on vacation somewhere tropical, but I'm sure he'd flip out to see you."

Alex turned her attention back to the lake as she waited to see what Dulce would tell her. Her curiosity had pulled her eyes back to her friend though. Taking her time she took in the full extent of the changes that she had gone through and couldn't help but smile. She was happy that Dulce had grown into a beautiful woman. Neither of them had enjoyed puberty which had helped strengthen their friendship in her mind. Those awkward summers where the best part of the year. Swimming and exploring the lake away from all the kids in the city who seemed to take the changes in their bodies for granted. Those months had been what Alex always looked forward to knowing that her friend would understand how shitty being a teen was.

She grinned letting the left side of her lips to raise a little higher than the right to make it slightly crooked when she saw that Dulce had turned to look at her. Alex's grin turned to a chuckle to match her friends laugh. "Hmm, you bet your ass I am, love." Still laughing a little Alex set her beer down on the railing and spun in a quick circle before grabbing her beer and downing a good quarter just as Dulce teased her about needing more sun. She shot her a pained expression as she forced herself not to laugh and spit out her beer. "Well, let's put that on the list of things to do this summer. You can show me how to get a nice tan." Her grin took on a mischievous look as Alex thought about all the fun she could have with the guys and girls this summer.

She turned her back to the lake and leaned back against the railing as she listened to Dulce. Glancing over at the couple stumbling down the stairs her smile no longer quite making it to her eyes. She gave a quick laugh but just nodded in response to her friend's question. The Ozarks had that effect on a lot of people as far as Alex could tell. Well, at least the people who took the time to get to know this place. Alex's face lit up at the mention of Rico but it quickly cooled again at the mention of people giving him a hard time. "Locals? If there's anything I can do to help just ask. Also, I would love to see him again. Not to mention the look on his face when he first saw me." She tried to lighten the mood a little not wanting to talk business with some many people around.

Wanting to make sure no one around them got a hint of what they were talking about Alex asked. "So other than a few pests your Tio's farm is still good then? How are his taxes cause I would rather work here after the summer rather than go back to the city? Not to mention I like the people here." She drained the rest of her beer and moved a little closer to Dulce adding. "Feel free to do some pushing tonight. Everyone here is an adult and can make their own choices." Alex had less than ten people at the party that she thought would keep in touch after tonight and even they were far from innocent. If they had been Alex doubted she would have made friends with them in the first place.

These changes were the sort that one normally wouldn't be sure how to take. Perhaps she had expected to be angry at her friend, when she thought over it in her head multiple times as she was younger, but really Dulce couldn't bring herself to be angry at Alex. For what? Because her friend had been busy when she herself also had been? For her friend dealing with huge changes to herself, literally going from being seen as one thing to something else? Why would she yell at her, or be upset. Life changed, shit happened. And after all, Alex was happy, admitting so herself with a laugh of her own as she turned the bottle up to her lips, taking another large drink and feeling the fizz trickle down her throat. Laughing again when her friend mentioned that she could assist her in how to get a nice tan, easily she could manage that, even if the weather out here seemed to do whatever it wanted. They'd figure that out when they got to it.

Shaking her head now as she realized she was closer to the end of this beer than she thought, she decided to simply finish it off with a soft drink, shrugging her shoulders when Alex mentioned anything she could do to help. "Nah, trust that he's definitely been handling it," That sounded ominous, but she didn't want to rope Alex into that sort of conversation immediately on her first way back. After all, her uncle was out of town and enjoying some nice summery beach somewhere, likely, so when Alex mentioned the look on her uncles face, she couldn't help the blurt of laughter that came out as she thought of the image. "We should send him a picture or something." God the phone call she would get from that. Giggling softly, Dulce raised her shoulders gently when the question of how his taxes were, knowing the man would find every way imaginable to snake away from any government issues that man could even think of.

When Alex decided to give her the greenlight for selling drugs, the blonde couldn't resist the urge of letting her lips curl up into a soft grin. "Oh how kind of you Alex," She gave a soft wink as though she had only been waiting for permission, her empty beer bottle tilted gently toward the brunette who stood next to her and murmured that she could make a bit of money off of her college friends. College students were easy, everyone knew that. Everyone in college wanted to get the bite, get that pressure off, but Dulce also mentioned something extra, perking a brow up at her friend now with that same subtle smirk, "You know if you want we can smoke something later." Her bare feet moved carefully, plucking her friend's empty beer bottle up from the railing with a waggle of her eyebrows as she added, "I'm going to go get another one of these, hmm." Of course that also meant the blonde was going to very briefly shmooze, gliding through the people who had attended the party, gauging them so casually as she moved.

It was a science, in the easiest way, selling drugs. Telling who was so obviously looking for something more than what alcohol could provide, it was within a matter of minutes before she had found a guy in particular, the young man caught between being smitten and absolutely involved in having Dulce sell him whatever it was she had told him she had. Being attractive had definitely helped with selling drugs, that was for certain, the guidance down to the boat a simple trip down the stairs, an exchange made on the dimly lit dock, before the blonde was back up to her friend with her beer in hand and a soft glossy sheen to her pretty eyes. "So you're gonna stick around for a while?"

Handling it? Alex could only imagine how he would handle someone pushing into his territory. She would not be surprised if a few bodies showed up in the lake. She had heard her parents discussing a recent death in hushed tones that she had leaned early on that death was not uncommon even when you were removed from the violent side of things.

Alex was happy to change the subject when Dulce suggested they send her uncle a picture she laughed and bit her lip for a second before she suggested. "Why not a video call or just a short video. Nothing better than a live reaction." Seeing his reaction would be amazing at least to her slightly drunk mind.

She flushed a little as Dulce gave her one of her signature grins. Alex realized a little to late Dulce really didn't need her permission. "Me and my presumptions. If I had not recognized you I bet you would have sold to half the people here by now." She returned the smile and shrugged. There was something in that smile or maybe it was the wink but Dulce seemed to have changed in Alex's eyes. Gone was the awkward teen, she had been replaced with a confident women. A smoking hot one at that.

"I would like that. When things calm down for the night." Dulce had been the one to introduce her to drugs. Nothing hard but back then drugs of any sort seemed so taboo. That was back when Alex didn't fully understand who her parents worked for and what those people did for a living.

"Take your time. I am not going anywhere." Alex watched Dulce walk away as she tried to understand her new feelings for her friend and if she was willing to admit what it meant. She watched Dulce for a minute or two before Alex was distracted by someone calling for her in the house. By the time she dealt with the people inside and had grabbed another drink Dulce was making her way back up to the upper deck.

Joining her back by the railing Alex nodded in answer to her friends question as she took a quick swig on her beer before explaining her plans a bit. "Ya I intend to stick around for a few months maybe a year." She paused and looked out past the docks into the darkness beyond the pools of light cast by the lights. "How about you? You heading back to California anytime soon?"

Very simply, her Tio Rico had zero issues with handling the light work that came with managing his business, and that was the mood that the rest of her family kept. It was a reputation that kept most at bay, and was perhaps how their families had met in the first place. When she was younger, that more violent side of things had gone unnoticed and perhaps she was shielded, but she had always known her parents and her uncles weren't the best people. The movements of her body through the crowds of people, the blonde knew so easily the way to work a set of people, the way a little conversation here or there could spur up others into being curious, snickering and giggling and offering a few kind words. Dulce had zero real intentions of befriending any of these people, tucking a strand of blonde hair behind her ears once she settled back beside Alex with the acknowledgment that they would probably do something illegal later. It would definitely be nice to mellow out and get that sort of build up with her friend.

It had been years, and more than things on the surface had changed, looking to her friend with another curious glance. Gone was the Alex she had remembered, obviously now identifying as a woman. Dulce had seen many things, and people switching genders was nothing unusual for her. It didn't catch her off guard the way predicted, though it did still catch her as different, strange because the last engraved memory of Alex wasn't this. But her friend was happy and that was more than she could say before. Her happiness looked genuine. Licking her lips softly, the young woman sucked her cheeks in softly, her second beer gently sipped as she felt the tingle of alcohol tickling around her nose. That answer was something that gained a smile, something that made her head tilt softly at the acknowledgment that she would be staying.

"That's a very.. Specific amount of time?" Dulce teased, but she supposed she would get over that, as it was none of her business really. Another swig and the gentle taste of lime welcoming her, she gave a soft shrug of her shoulders, "I hadn't planned on it, but now it seems like I've got more of a reason to stick around this shit hole for a little while longer." Teasing again, Che turned to look toward the house with gentle nod of her head forward as she asked with that ever curious tone of voice, "Are these your friends from school?"

Alex rolled her eyes as she let out an exaggerated groan that was almost identical to those she was known for when she was younger. "What do you expect from accountants. They always want to things to be precise. I guess they are afraid I will just become a bum so I get a year before they expect me to have a job" She sipped at her beer not wanting to ruin the nice buzz she had going by overdoing it. "LA must be a real dump if this shit hole therapeutic." She teased her friend knowing full well what she really meant.

She took her time in answering the next question. Alex had very few people she trusted enough to call a friend. "No, not really. I am just the one who could host a party." She had lowered her voice betraying that she still cared about what these people thought of her. "Hard to really be friends with parents like mine. True friends anyway." Taking a long swig of her beer she glanced around and added in a slightly lighter tone. "Those two are fun in bed though." Her pointed to a couple who were to stumbling into the house. "I might stay in touch with a few for networking but I doubt I look then up for fun." She shrugged and turned her attention back to Dulce as she bit her lip before asking. "So anyone special waiting for you back in LA?" Part of her knew that she was drunk but she had planed to have some fun with someone here but now she couldn't really see herself going to bed with anyone but Dulce if Alex could get her to agree.

Dulce knew Alex's parents had always had high standards, perhaps that was why they had gotten into the business in the first place, setting high standards and taking high risks. "So.. You decided to avoid becoming a bum by coming here?" Saying it out loud made her laugh, one of her hands finding her hip as she shook her head, the airy sound floating around them. That was kind of, the opposite thing to do really. This place wasn't exactly good for anyone if you were into what their families got into. Her eyes then began to enjoy the sights of people, watching them enjoy the space to thrive and be.. Well, exist in a space that they wouldn't be judged enough to matter. All of them looked like stable enough adults, the sort that wouldn't destroy a house that they'd been invited into. None of them were teenagers, but clearly people Alex had met through whatever means her life had taken her through.

Whatever shit they had been through, they didn't mind asking for drugs, that was for sure. Dulce watched the male she had sold a gram to as he had very quickly found a means to break it down and smoke it, standing outside across the patio with another someone and hearing him inhale. The sweet scent filled the air, familiar, and it made Dulce breathe out softly before turning her bright eyes back to Alex, "Really Alex, really?" Who the fuck throws a party for people they didn't somewhat care for? Dulce almost gave her a shameful look, scrunching her nose softly before perking a brow when she mentioned the couple and what they were good for in her eyes. Another swig of the corona taken and before she knew it, she was halfway down her second bottle, smirking to herself just in time for Alex to ask about anyone special.

Anyone special? "Always." Initially, Dulce was blind to why Alex had even asked, momentarily assuming it was based on curiosity, before her own struck a cord in the pit of her stomach. Realizing also that she was still just sort of, standing out in her bathing suit and some fishnet cover up, Che snorted softly to herself before turning her vision back to Alex, ".. And yourself? I can't imagine you'd be so eager to share that you're playing with couples and not have a 'special person'." The shorter woman looked at her with a raised brow, as though she were taunting her, gently teasing her without words.

"Spin that around. I came here to make them think I was becoming some lake bum. I am going to go nuts if I don't find something to do with my life. I just want some time to figure out what I want to do and what better place to do it?" She gave dulce a cheeky grin as she explained her thinking. it was pretty much the truth, when her parents asked her if she would like to move back to the city to she had almost laughed. Her life had been go go go for most of her life and now that the cycle of travel then cram for exams was over she felt that she needed a place that moved at a slower pace. "No better place to relax and live life at a snail's pace than the Ozarks."

Alex's face grew hard at her friends reaction. Those three words were full of judgment even if Dulce didn't out right say it Alex still her well enough to know what she meant. "just because they are not friends doesn't mean they are not useful." She smirked when she seemed to catch her friends attention. "See useful." She could help but chuckle wanting to enjoy herself and not get into a discussion about morals when she was drunk.

She tried to hide her disappointment in the answer but she didn't have to work hard when Dulce snorted and asked her about her own situation. "Don't you know university is for experimenting." added air quotes around the last word as she smirked. "I don't have special people. Toys are easier. Fuck get fucked then move on before they start wanting to meet the family." She watched her friend closely for her reaction. "i figured I would find someone new tonight."

”Well Alex.. The Ozarks is a weird fucking place to figure your shit out.” And that alone was an understatement. The Ozarks had done weird things for the both of them and their families, keeping them secure in whatever lucrative markets their individual families had dealt with. While things were slow here, when things did amp up, they amped, and Dulce had become no stranger to that. She wondered, really, if Alex was curious about the lifestyle that had been kept very carefully away from them both when they were younger. Dulce knew the same way her friend did, but as an adult.. There was just so much more, eye opening experiences to be had.

And Dulce had prepared herself for that, to the extent that her uncle had gone on vacation. Laughing softly, she at least couldn’t disagree that those friends of hers were useful, as they had been useful in making a few sales for the night. ”Alright, alright. Useful.” The buzz of the alcohol was settling into her stomach, warming her up from within as Alex mentioned that college and university was where one went to experiment. She didn’t need to remind her friend that it was actually not for that reason at all, why adults sent their young to college, but she knew what she was getting at.

The freedom of it all.

”Oh? Move on, she says, after bringing people she’s slept with to a party.” Toying with her again with another wink, the blonde arched a brow softly when she added that she intended on finding someone new for the night. There was a way that her words rattled around in her head, after floating through the air, that made her smirk softly, almost wanting to laugh. Having never been discriminatory with her sexuality, identifying as a pansexual, Dulce had lived most of her adult life within that realm. And even if she was usually oblivious to people flirting with her, Alex was at least being somewhat direct. ”Are you trying to fuck me Alex?”

"Felt like the perfect place to me. Maybe I just hoped to see you again. " She just grinned at Dulce as she was rapidly losing interest in everyone but her old friend. It occurred to her that for Tio to leave, he would need someone to look after his interests. Alex crossed her arms over her chest as she studied Dulce and wondered just how much she had learned about her family's business. Over the years, Alex had built up a very romanticized few of her friend's families and the illegal activity they very connected to. It just seemed like it would be so much more interesting than the money laundering businesses that her parents ran.

Alex bit her tongue, knowing now was not the time or place to press her friend for details. Luckily for her, Dulce moved on to more exciting things as she accepted that Alex could have her reasons for bringing people she didn't like to the lake house. Dulce using her own words against her, brought a blush to Alex's rather pale cheeks even as she tried not to grin enjoying her old friend's company. "Hey, they never got needed. Thanks what they have each other fo-" She wasn't even able to finish her hissed defense before her jaw snapped shut as Dulce went straight to the question Alex had not been able to ask. "Yes?" Alex hesitated, not expecting such a direct question. "I mean, yes, I want to fuck you." She couldn't help licking her lips as she leaned over to her friend using her height for the first time to look down at her. "Why wouldn't I? You're fucking gorgeous."

She stood there for a few moments before she screwed up enough courage to reach out and wrap her arm around Dulce even as she leaned down to kiss her. Part of her was still expecting her friend to object, but she wanted this too much to worry about it until it happened. "Please, Dulce." Her whisper could barely be heard of the general noise of the party raging around them.

It had always been Dulce to be very direct when it came to certain things, her filter being nearly nonexistent as a young teenager hadn't really gone away into adulthood. Knowing her friend, it seemed to be the alcohol encouraging Alex to go along with this, and even further it might have taken another drink to get her to say it outright. Throughout their summer excursions, when looking back on it, Dulce had realized that she had unfortunately developed childhood feelings for her friend, and this was likely a result of Alex being the only one around who actually knew her. The only one around who wasn't intending to belittle her or to try and talk shit to her, it was only natural that those feelings had spawned when they were younger over their Ozark summers.

As adults, things were different now, but what hadn't changed, was Dulce's ability to make her friend blush. Laughing softly when her cheeks hit that hot pink color and her jaw got tight, she could almost see her brain try to formulate something in defense before giving up and settling on the truth. Perking up a brow softly at the first response, the blonde tilted her head gently and almost instantly got a confirming answer to her question, her head raising up just so carefully when Alex leaned over her. Now it was her turn to blush, the soft pink color creeping up onto her cheeks at the compliment, scrunching her nose softly, "Stop that." She murmured at the compliment, swatting it away with her words near silently as Alex began to close whatever space was between them. Bare feet against the wood of the patio remained somewhat braced, but still felt herself moving forward to let their bodies connect in the embrace.

This was not necessarily how she had planned her night going, but she wouldn't complain, tilting her head up again into the soft plead only to find her lips settling against Alex's. The beer she had nearly finished was discarded to sit on the patio railing, heavy breasts pressed against the other woman's as her warm fingertips reached up to glide along the skin of her cheek with a soft inhale. There was a pause, Dulce reluctantly pulling her lips away from the kiss that was probably long overdue, half lidded eyes acknowledging the other before stating, "We should probably.. Go inside."

Alex let her eyes close as their lips met feeling contentment for the first time in a long time. She reached out and slide her hands around Dulce"s waist holding their bodies together even as she shivered at Dulce"s fingers glided over her cheek.

She let out a soft moan that quickly turned into a chuckle as Dulce's words registered with her. Opening her eyes and glancing around she could see they were starting to draw attention. "Fuck em." Alex took her friends hand and led her inside not that she thought Dulce didn't know the way. Alex just didn't want to let her go.

As they reached the master bedroom she finally let go of dulce once they were in the room. As she started to slide the door closed Alex pulled off her thank top to hand on the outside of the door. The light from the hall glanced off the two silver barbells that neatly pierced her nipples. Her breasts were small enough to comfortably be held in one's hand but they seemed to fit her slim frame. "so where were we?" she asked with a grin as she closed and locked the door.

She could feel her pants getting tighter as she couldn't help but get hard but she only unbuttoned them not want to slip them off yet. "Right we were just starting to really catch up." Giving Dulce a cheeky grin she walked up to her Alex whistled softly as she openly looked her friend up and down. "I want to say this should have happened years ago but I don't think it would have felt quite as right as it does now."

Feeling the gentle pressure of her hands against her hips, Dulce felt that tingle roll down her spine gently at the familiarity and the warmth of it, the way it had never happened before but it felt oddly right. While she couldn't have cared less that they were drawing attention, as whether she knew these people or not it was none of their business. And where they would go and what would happen after they left this patio, while likely very clear and apparent, was also none of their business, laughing softly as Alex shared the sentiment but pulled her along through the house anyway.

It had been years since she'd been here, inside this house, and never had it been under the same intentions as what they were doing now. Moving through the few people who were still chatting and up and about, once they reached the bedroom that once belonged to Alex's parents, internally laughing at the thought. That mental image was soon released once she was through the threshold, stepping into the dark room and feeling her fingers release her friend's, pulling the fishnet pullover up and over her head with a gentle pull. Standing in whatever dim lighting poured through the window from the moon, the blonde laughed softly when Alex acted as though she wasn't sure where they were before they had reached this point, her honey eyes glancing over her friend with a curious tilt of her head.

This was aesthetically, not the same Alex. And yet the attraction hadn't gone away, standing there in the now dry bathing suit, her fingers gently curling at the top as she shifted the straps down her shoulders. "You know, if it would have happened any sooner, we wouldn't have been nearly as comfortable." They both knew there were plenty of reasons why it wouldn't have been the best it could have been when they were teenagers, but that wasn't what was happening at the moment.

Really, and this was a very simple movement, Dulce moved forward now, her hands immediately grazing over Alex's skin, her fingertips dancing over her sides once she was within arms reach, pulling her forward with a soft tug. "Let's keep catching up, shall we?" Dulce grinned again, just in time for her lips to collide back into Alex's, the handsy blonde letting her fingers trickle upward against her sides, unbothered by the fact that she herself was still wearing that pesky bathing suit. Her fingertips gently caressed the soft metal in Alex's nipples, the accessories given a gentle movement of her thumb grazing them.

It was true, and if they had done anything like this when they were younger, it would have been awkward for too many reasons. She would be lying if she said she had never fantasized about this when they were younger but what horny teenager wouldn't."I know, feels Comfortable now, though." Grinning, she stepped into Dulce's embrace as she pulled her towards her.

Alex grinned back at Dulce, chuckling at her question even as they collided again. There was no doubt in Alex's mind that this felt right and different than any of the people she had been intimate with in the past. She broke the kiss as she let out a soft groan as Dulce grazed her piercings, sending shivers up Alex's spine. "Mmm, that feels good." She ran her hands up and grabbed the straps of Dulce's swimsuit. "But I think you should join me." Chuckling, even as she pressed her lips against Dulce's for another electrifying kiss, she pulled the strapped down as far as she could. Alex always got nervous the first time she was in this situation with someone, but with Dulce, she felt comfortable.

As she broke the kiss, Alex moved to Dulce's neck and kissed the side as she spoke. "Come now, let me see that Californa tan you talk so much about." Once she was able to get Dulce's arms out of the swimsuit, she slowly pulled it down over her body as she started kissing the skin as it was exposed. With her hands inside the suit as she slid it down her body, Alex let her nails gentle run along her friends sides.

If they had acted on these feelings when they were teenagers, neither of them would have been happy in the bodies they’d done it in. Dulce had been far chubbier in ways she didn’t quite like, probably as a result of depression the way most people dealt with it, and Alex hadn’t been in the body she had necessarily wanted to be in. Things were different now, beyond what they were when they were younger, but the feelings were still the same. Hidden little secrets that they had kept between one another and then to themselves, Dulce’s nails gently curling against Alex’s skin. Her hands kept the other girl close, breathing softly against her lips as they kissed, letting her tongue tickle gently along her friend’s bottom lip.

It would take a few short tugs from Alex when she began to pull the swimsuit down her frame, Che laughing softly as she felt it move down her arms, finally reluctantly pulling her hands away from her. Her own hands would soon move, pulling the swimsuit down just a bit further, a gentle wriggling of her lips before it slipped past her waist, down her tanned thighs. Gravity would do the rest of the work once past her thighs, the one piece hitting the ground with a soft, almost soundless thump against the floor before she gently kicked it away with her feet. Hair pooling around her face now, framing her features, Dulce’s body was bare now, and at no point did she consider this to be awkward for her. Perhaps it was the alcohol encouraging her on, keeping her from feeling uncomfortable or strange to be naked in front of her friend.

The soft breath that fell through her lips now soon gave way to a simple grin as she perked a brow, ”California tan all over,” She teased, before moving forward and letting her lips press back into Alex’s, breasts now bare and rubbing against her skin. Her hands had settled themselves at her hips, fingernails scratching her skin again before pulling her toward her, feet guiding them both back toward the bed.

Was more than happy to help pull the one piece down until it fell to the floor. She ran her gaze over Dulce and couldn't help letting out a soft whistle. "California needs to share that Sun but I will take you for bow." As she said it she knew it sounded corny but between the alcohol and just the turmoil of emotions she didn't care.

Alex wrapped her arms out Dulce's neck when her friend's hands settled on her hips. She followed the other lead as they made their way over to the bed. It was only when they arrived that Alex brought her arms down to her waist unbuttoning her jeans and wiggling her hips as she slid them and the panties she hand on down over her hips. Letting them wall to the floor she pulling her cock up from between her legs. "I never felt like changing everything." she decided not to go into detail after how accepting of her choices Dulce had been so far.

She moved. Ask in now pressing her nude form back against Dulce her hands roaming the others body eager to get to know it. After what felt like her enough time Alex slipped out of Dulce's hand so she could pull back the covers moving them to the foot of the bed before she climbing stumbling for a moment reminding her just how much she had drank.
