Lily pinched the bridge of her nose and rolled her eyes when she heard the shrieks of laughter from the boys who called themselves the Marauders -
quite honestly they could be so immature for a bunch of fifteen year old boys! Honestly! They were in the middle of charms class and it seemed like
the boys were trying to hit Severus in the back of the head with crumpled up pieces of paper. It was only after Severus snapped at them did anyone
notice and Professor Flitwick had scolded him for not being quiet during the lesson. As the Professor calmed everyone back down Lily shot the boys
a look. Even though she and Severus were no longer friends and she was even dating James Potter by now, she still didn't approve of all the pranks.
Sometimes they could be absolutely hilarious, she would admit, but other times they were downright cruel and she would have none of that.
As nobody seemed to calm down and the intellectual atmosphere had been completely shattered for the afternoon, so it seemed, Professor Flitwick
decided to dismiss the class for the afternoon with a short assignment due by the time they'd meet again the following week. She packed up, having
a brief conversation with Marlene before waving her off so she could join up with the boys. ❝ Honestly, was that really necessary? You could've lost
us house points at the very least and we're already in second place to Ravenclaw. ❞ Lily huffed, shaking her head, hand clasping to hold onto
her boyfriend's. Perhaps that wasn't the real reason why it bothered her so much, but Lily had promised to be more relaxed about the whole ordeal.
Plus she was really trying not to kill James' mood before he went off to the last Quidditch practice before the big game against Slytherin that week.
One by one, the boys started leaving from the little circle they had formed in an empty corridor to talk - Remus had some studying to do and James
went off to his Quidditch practice, then Peter left to attend one of his extracurricular classes that he had going on that day. In the end, all that was
left was Sirius and Lily in the empty corridor as neither of them had anything to do, unless you counted their charms homework. ❝ Left you all alone
with me, didn't they? Well, we have homework to work on if you want to do that together? Unless you, uhm, had other plans. That's fine too. ❞
