    • Jamie stood hunched over in the cool spray of water breathing slowly. He hated the summers... A soft moan of pleasure escaped his lips as he stood up stairght allowing the water to wash over his entire frame. Running his fingers through his long dark hair Jamie leaned forward turning off the shower. Finally cooled down, the male stepped out of the shower. Wrapping his favorite dragon printed towel around his waist he left the bathroom. The air around him felt cool making him shiver a bit as he made his way from the bathroom to his room. He was tall and slender, had a body of a model that every woman desired.Well who wouldn't? His body was sculpted to perfection, not a thing on his body was flappy or loose. He worked out just enough so he'd be built and not look like he took steroids or was trying too hard. It was a nice combination with his to die for face.

As the brunette changed from just a towel to briefs and baggy shorts he wondered when his brother would be arriving. The last time he had seen him was when they were picking out the apartment. Jamie had alreay successfully moved the things he owned inside. All he really had was a couple boxes and bags of clothes, a 42" flat screen television a couch, and hmmm, that was about it really. He didn't own any pots or pans, nor did he own plates and silverware. He'd hoped his brother would come with that stuff...if not they had some shopping to do. He wandered passed his brother's room, passed the bathroom and into the living room where the front door was located. He plopped down on the black sofa, reclining lazily as he awaited the bell to ring.[/list:u][/list:u]

Darius drove on and on until he finally reached the place he had got with his brother. His mood was foul, but upon seeing the building, he let out a soft sigh of relief. He parked in their registered space and popped the trunk, unloading some of the heavier boxes that carried all the cookware they would need. He picked up the one filled with pots and pans first and climbed the stairs to their apartment. It wasn't a hard climb compared to all the driving he had done. He tapped the doorbell with his shoulder as he called out.

"Hey! Jamie! Open up!"

His sea foam colored eyes remained on the door as he blew some of his black hair out of the way. He needed it cut, but that would have to wait until they were fully moved into the apartment. He had been gathering all his stuff to be moved in, which accounted for the time spent away from his brother. He felt a stirring as he thought about his brother, but he repressed it with iron will as he waited impatiently.

    • Jamie nearly jumped out of his light slumber at the sound of his name. His surprised expression faded into one of pure excitement. He quickly hopped up off the black chair rushing to the door almost falling flat on his face. "Coming!" he shouted. Finally he reached the door letting out a sigh. Unlocking the top and bottom lock, Jamie pulled the door open, a soft smile gracing his lips. "You look tired. What's in the box?" he asked. Without waiting for an explanation he grabbed the box from his arms. "Whoa--" he stumbled backwards stunned. The weight was nothing, he just assumed it was light since Darius had carried it up all the apartment stairs and it surprised him. "Damn..."

He laughed softly. "This must be the cookware..." he said as he took a few steps backwards placing the box down off to the side. "How much more stuff ya got?" Jamie asked running his fingers through his dark hair. "How bout' you take a breather and I'll bring up some more stuff.." he suggested as he approached Darius. In an awkward attempt he pulled his brother closer and hugged him.

"It's really nice to see you again..."

He said with a smile before releasing the other and heading down the apartment stairs. Jamie had never hugged a guy before but...this was his brother and not some guy. It actually felt nice to hold him after so many years apart.[/list:u][/list:u]

"I think I got about five more boxes in the car or so. And I needed to work off some anger, which is why I took the stairs. Traffic was terrible."

Darius murmured with a laugh at his brother's expression. He always made the best faces when he was surprised. Darius stretched and yawned, moving towards the kitchen to grab a drink before he was grabbed and hugged by Jamie.

"It's good to see you again, too, brother."

He said with a smile as he held onto his brother before patting him on the back as he was released. He watched his brother go before he took the box into the kitchen and started unpacking things. He put the bigger pans into the bottom cabinets and then got himself a soda. He yawned again as he deposited himself on the couch and relaxed for a bit.

    • Jamie sighed as he made his way to his brotherâ??s belongings. He sure carried a lot with him, unlike himself. His brother seemed far more prepared for the occasion than he. The male leaned forward piling two semi heavy boxes on top of each other, turning it into one heavy son-of-a bitch. With a soft grunt like sound he lifted them both and began carrying them up the apartment stairs. â??Damn this place needs an elevatorâ?¦â? he murmured with a soft snarl.

He sighed when he reached the top of the stairs placing the boxes down on the floor. â??Gosh Bro did you bring the whole house with you?â? he teased before taking in a slow breath of air. Damn why was it so hot outside? It was like a friggan oven. You could probably fry an egg on the sidewalk if you were bored enough to try.[/list:u][/list:u]

Darius yawned before taking another sip of his drink, listening to the sounds of the quiet apartment. Soon he heard the sounds of Jamie grunting and cursing, a smile curving his lips as he relaxed on the couch. He put down his drink to help his brother as he watched him enter, complaining about the boxes. He hefted one of the boxes into the kitchen before he replied.

"Ha, ha. You're just a wimp."

He gave his brother a teasing smile and patted his head like a little kid, laughing. He was only kidding. He knew that Jamie was a strong kid and went back down the stairs to grab his clothes and close up the car, nothing else inside absolutely necessary at the moment. As he came back up, he dropped his bag on the floor and stretched, pulling his shirt off at the heat. He intended to take a cool shower now that the worst of the labor was over.
