Hey folks! So, some ground rules to start off with.
1: 2 paragraphs minimum.
2: don't dissapear on me. If you're having writers block or are busy for a few days then just tell me.
3: brainstorm with me. I don't wanna be the one dictating the whole plot, i enjoy brainstorming, worldbuilding and arranging directions that the story can go, themes we can explore etc..

So, without further ado, here we go.
1. The Queen's attendant.

The Queen of Aslatir, a vast desert kingdom bordering small allied tribal nations has been thriving under it's matriarchal system of power, the Queen rules before the king, Women make up most of the generals in the royal army, and the relatively nearby human Tearmus empire has shared in tge wealth of trade between their kingdoms, so at least for now, any ambitions they may have of conquering her land ate tabled. In her court however there is a new face, that of the third born son of the Tearmus Emperor, sent to her land to learn and study at their great universities. Being politically savvy, she invites this prince to be among her personal staff, as even a third born has a chance to be emperor, so she wants to coax him into her favor. But rumors still abound that she's becoming subservient to him, so instead of merely bringing him into her graces she makes him her personal attendant, to cater to all her needs and whims. ALL of them. And with the King having died several years ago, there's nothing stopping her from having her attendant satisfy them.
I'm thinking this character would be very much cleopatra-like, intelligent and with no qualms about hiding her sexuality, as sex isn't considered a "dirty" thing in her culture or religion.
2: a pair of Mercenaries

War is business in the blades for hire community, and business is good in the land of Atmas. Situated between two collosal empires and once the realm of a decently sized kingdom, war between the sides has raged for decades now, including with brand new "gunpowder" weapons such as cannons. Within this land, among the myriad of Mercenaries who all too often get drunk and laugh together one night only to be on different sides and killing each other by midday the next day, are two mercs. MC and YC. Having known each other for years during their days in the formal army of one of the sides before being left for dead by their commander but surviving the battle, the two have been amassing a small fortune, often only to drink or gamble it away. In between their battles and skirmishes the two mercenaries share a tent, often a bedroll too. But when they recieve an offer from their former commander they can't refuse, they find themselves tasked with a mission beyond what either initially signed up for.
