I held my book bag close to the front of my skirt on the 2nd day of school. It was heavy. An old leather thing that my uncle gave to me for my 15th birthday. He always meant well, even though it was way too large for my frame. I placed a sticker of a kitty on the side of the flap the week before. I wasn't thinking though. All the other girls were so much more grown up. And I was still living like a silly girl. I regretted it instantly the very first time I saw the upperclassmen smirk as they looked at me.
I stopped, and sighed. All the other kids were streaming into the gate of St. Mary's Elite Boarding School for Ladies. It was a beautiful day. The courtyard was made of red brick. It was lined with trees that gave off big bright red flowers, and the petals came down in a giant flowery rain. It was like a magical, mystical place. Just looking at the antique columns on the architecture, and the super carved tiles on the multi-storied roof of the building... it filled me with such joy.
Another student pushed into me, knocking me off balance and throwing me to the ground. My book bag fell open and all my books and pencils and cell phone scattered out onto the ground. "Hey! Why don't you watch where you're going, bitch?" the student yelled. My entire body stiffened. I turned to look up and saw one of the upperclassmen standing over me, growling angrily. She was... so beautiful. Her bust was... so much more developed compared to me and my tiny frame. It made me blush. Two other girls stood beside her, looking down at me.
"Eek! I'm sorry." I said, trying to pick up my books as fast as I could.
