Clinging to the shadows of history, A Nazi Scientist, the most radiant mind of an organization known as the Unter Science Division, Johanna Schwarzwand had discovered a black mineral of sorts that contained liquid properties. Over many years, her and her team conducted experiments with this compound that came to be known as Compound 486-C: Höllenblut or Hell's Blood. This thick black ooze corrupted any organic substance, rotting it's host to the core, corrupting it's body and turning it into a monster. Not quite the living dead but for all intents and purposes, it might as well have been. All it could do was his and flail, growl and snarl. It grew unnatural tentacles from it's back looking like a kind of flesh or meat that was definitely not of the human body. It was strong enough to crack the reinforced glass containing the subject. This forced Johanna to gas the creature till it died. The Höllenblut then, after the gas rotted away the tentacles, broke free from them and oozed out from the protrution before slipping into a crack in the floor under the body. They could be killed like any other human. After many tests, She found that they felt no pain. Their bodies did need nurishment so they did eat animals and other humans as well. Well...Men specifically. She learned that the Höllenblut was in fact intelligent.
