Frosty had long white silken hair, and though she was human like in appearance, she sported traits that were not so. One of the most powerful dragon girls that lived in the area, and could probably make a kingdom suffer she had truly wanted to exercise her power in that regards and though many people had tried to carve a name out of her hide they had all failed. No one had been able to best her in some time. Thinking that because there was a lull in the storm. The beautiful frost dragon girl flew down from her lair heading towards a very remote lake. No one hardly ever went there. It was her favorite place to be. She could relax out in the sun or swim in the lake and not have to worry about being hunted by would be slayers.

Arriving at the lake she carefully glanced around, before slowly removing where pristine battle armor that she had made herself a few years ago. Her family had all been killed by the dragon slayers and she was still the only one left alive that knew how to make dragon armor imbued with so many enchantments that it could be virtually indestructible to all. It was far stronger than the elven mithril armor that elves liked to sport and had at one time been very popular among humans. But then the dragons had been betrayed a near by kingdom and so those that could flee fled and those that couldn't where hunted down and killed. She had been lucky to have been hidden by her mothers magic which had faded the moment the blade had struck home.

When it was over with Frosty had been left alone and so she carried on her vengeance against those that had wronged her clan and family. They would all pay eventually if she had her way about it. For now though thoughts of revenge were the last thing that were on her mind. And with the dropage of her armor she dived into the warm waters of the lake. Exposing her pale back, and pristine white blushish scales down the length to her long serpentine tail that could be used as a third arm or hand depending on what she needed it for.
Little did she know that she was going to be used to take over that said kingdom that had been her peoples downfall.

Sven Grimm born was a skilled dragon hunter, his talents were used all over this kingdom to chase and capture any that could be useful to him. It was here that things would go downhill as the mad king would ask for more from him without payment, then resorted to imprisoning him. The Drow would not help him with his plans to take over the world, as he cursed his name and once he was ordered to be executed. He would escape from the prison cursing the king as he would be back to destroy him for his actions.

Leading him on a journey to find some dragons to bring under his control and attempt to reason with them. It wasn't going to be easy, but he did take on many before his exile. His endless march would come to a lake of water, he heard of an ice dragon in the area that held much great power and it would be his target. He waited in the distance, watching the dragon woman swimming in the lake as he noticed that she was a beautiful woman. Yet, he couldn't let that sway his decision as he readied a bow to take aim for the perfect moment with his paralyzing arrow to let him get the capture.

Frosty enjoyed her swim, and had just come back up to the surface with a fish in her mouth, her small fangs pericing its wiggling hide. Now what on earth was she going to do with her catch now that she had it. This lake had been a great source of food for her. But even she was lonely with no one to talk to her. It wasn't until her senses warned her that she wasn't alone and that danger could strike at any moment. Glancing around catiously she didn't see what had triggered her alarm her armor was still in plain sight. But she knew heading in that direction could be a trap. The only other option was to see if the danger would go away....

Then with a mighty flick of her quickly dissappearing back and white tail, she dived deep under the lake to wait out what ever had startled her. And above in the sky was another figure a blue celestilized dragon girl was making her track to the same lake. The Celestial dragon girls, and the frost dragon girl didn't always get along and were often going at each other for the same hunting grounds.

The Celestrial Dragon girl landed and growl at the lake spying frosty's armor laying a foot away. "Frosty come on and out and play, surely your not going to hide in there all day are you? You know for a frost dragon smith your lousy at fighting other dragons." This on a daily basies an average insult to one another that usually garnered a responce. How ever something had truly spooked Frosty and she wasn't about to emerge to Sapphires taunts.

Sven would wait for the chance to strike when something else appeared from the sky. He couldn't believe that another Dragon had appeared near this one as he would think they would clash over a region. It was odd to see the second one taunting the first, it was almost like they were friends in some odd matter. He didn't really have time to pull back from his attack, so he released the arrow towards the other new dragon. It wouldn't aim for the kill, more like graze the side of her arm as to make her feel the contact of the poison.

Once it was coated into her arm, it would slowly start to numb her body. Trying to make her slow enough to capture without her trying to fight back. It would also act as a lure for the other one to try to help her friend or else the dragon might be taken or even killed by his next actions.

Sapphire couldn't help the slight hiss that rose from her thorat, when he arrow grazed her arm. She turned around to look towards the direction of where the arrow had come from, but as she did so her movements became increasingly sluggish. "Oh you are so going to pay for shooting me with my back turned."

On the other side of the lake Frosty surfaced her fish that she had caught, completely gone, it seemed she had eaten it after all. How ever seeing the predicment the other dragon girlw as in, the tempature around the area begin to drop by degrees. Frosty was very annoyed and agnry that some one would dare attack at a safe location. Not thinking in her right mind she surged upwards from the lake and flapped her wings to gain altude so that she nab her armor near by the slowly moving dragon girl.

Sven would watch as the second dragon would come out from the sky, as he would take another shot towards the wing of the ice dragon. It would be the best bet to ensure that she goes down before she could escape. He only wanted to disable her for now, as he waited to see if his arrow would hit the mark. The other dragon would start to feel her movements getting much slower as he took the time to come out from his hiding place with a sword and a staff in his hand to deal with her directly now. "I just want to talk Dragon, don't make it harder then it needs too." He said trying to get her to understand.

Sapphire hissed in a growl her words sluring as did her movements. "You could have talked before shooting me. Or what ever the blazes you did to me with that arrow. Most of us don't attack people on sight you know. At least not celestial dragons. Frosty isn't going to be to happy you shot me on her turf you know. That was a bad move on your part." Of course she couldn't much with the posion slowing her down. Her body wasn't use to handling such posions as her powers generally lay in other areas.

Frosty felt something wize by her wing just as she nabbed her set of imprentible armor, getting it on her within record time just another arrow hit directly on her wing. With a roar that could have split a mountain or caused an avalanch. She began to spiral down a few yards away from the lake sure she wouldn't be directly in sight of the lake or the person who had shot her down. But she wasn't happy about it.

He would walk over to the downed dragon as she spoke to him about the truth. Sven didn't know if they were violent or not.....maybe he should have studied them more. It was then that his next target would start to spiral out of control, it looked like it worked, but now he needed to calm her down. Standing over the dragon, he would look around for the ice one. "I didn't know if you would try to kill me. Is it hard for anyone to speak to dragons nowadays without being eaten you know?" He said chuckling a little as he waited for his second prize to show itself.

Sapphire only smiled showing her fangs. "And some of us didn't kill humans, but for every bad dragon there is a good one that was killed. But there are some who hold grudges over past murders. Frosty is one such you've met your match with her. Of course her skills with metals are one rarity her clan was good at until the great betrayal happened. A few fled and survived... She well lets just say she was a baby when it all went down. Me and her might not get along but it was my people that raised her until she could come back and work the metals here. Her forge is some where up in those mountain ranges good luck in getting her to show you where it is."

Frosty landing, breaking her wings on a hard branch and jarring her bones in the process, and cursing up a storm when she finally set up. She would have bruises for days. The person that shot me is going to wish they hadn't done that. I will see them pay for this. When I get my wings working again I will see their bodies freeze for shooting me out of the sky. But as she angrily thought of what she was going to do the posion would make her move slower and paralize her to the point she wasn't going to get to far. The only thing her anger did was cause the ground to get cold and frost over as if a major winter storm was brewing within the area of where she had fallen to.

"You sure do talk a lot, but I do understand what I did wrong." He said feeling a little sorry for what he did in the past, what his fellow dragon hunters did to them. He would move down to grab the dragon and hoist her over his shoulder. Bringing her with him as they would go search for the ice dragon. "So my name is Sven Grimmborn, what is yours?" He asked casually, as he would feel the area getting much colder. He wasn't too far from the other woman as he would need to be prepared for anything that might jump out at him.

Sapphire smiled faintly at that. "Celestial dragons are good at that, is why kings, and emperors pay homage to us. Because we can give them the powers of divine rule if we deem them worthy of it. Or a long healthy life should we offer that blessing. How ever other dragons are skilled in other areas such as elemental powers an metal working. The kind of metal working that can' be easily destroyed by the sword or anything humans or elves could dream up. Plus negotiation is another strong skill that is some times passed down from generation to generation."
But even she shivered from the cold, the kind of cold that brought in the beginning of winter.

Frosty was waiting her eyes glowing to mere pinpoints of slits until she heard some footfalls getting closer to where she had propped herself against the tree that had broken her fall and her wings. Her armor was unscathed though and it should have been because of the fall but it wasn't. Her tail twitched in anger but its movments were so slow that felt like barely a flick. But she wasn't going to give her position away until she could clearly see who was heading in her direction.

Sven would just nod at her words, it would seem that dragons had a more fulfilling role in society other than to be hunted. It was off-putting, to say the least, but she was a celestial dragon and her words were usually true. "Okay, so those skills could be put to use for good? All my years as a hunter really this wasn't the case, but not every dragon is the same." He sighed as he would come closer to the dragon of ice as he could feel the cold air much denser here.

Walking around he would start for a crashing land, wondering where she might have gotten to. He would use the other dragon as a makeshift shield as she was on his shoulder. He would think that dragons would weight more, but that might be in their true form. "Dragon.....I only want to chat, please come out." Sven trying to reason with her and his hostage.

Frosty growled low in her throat as she surged up on her feet, her movements might have been slow, but anger still flowed through her icy cold veins and a heart that would not be easily won by any means. "And just why should I believe you wish to chat. When it was your bloody arrow that shot me out of the sky causing me to fall through a tree, which broke my wings. I have had less trouble with slayers than this. At least them I was able to kill before they tried to poison me. You might have gotten sapphire incapitated. But not me I know slayers are capable of first hand and I've not forgotten what they did to the frost clan." Of course a dragon who can't fly was a dead dragon on the ground, and though sapphire could have healed frosty had she not been poisoned. "Beside that a slayer doesn't take dragons alive for any reason unless your trying to make a profit with our blood." Though there were other reasons for taking dragons alive and it was something frosty didn't want to even think about.

Sapphire eyes closed slightly. "Yes they can be and most often are. But with any skill they can be used for good or they can used for evil. It depends on the person or dragon really who chooses to give those skills and gifts up. But most often it is a dragons offspring that will carry those traits to the next generation, and they will be perfected until it has reached its mastery." It was so cold that she was going to have to go into real form if frosty didn't come out. "Frosty don't be such a coward even with both wings broken your still a good advasary I should know how many times did we duel and break each others bones."

The trees russled over head, it was where frosty had taken refuge when she had picked up the footfalls and to get a better view the trees offered it despite the fact the tree of where she ahd crashed through was not a safe option and though it had taken time, she had managed it with the coverage of the frost on the ground and the cold air.

"More then I care to remember Sapphire, how ever I don't trust slayers as a general rule." Then she dropped down from the tree revealing herself at last though it seemed the posion was working on her it was having a harder time due to the fact that her body was trying to fight it off.

He would listen to the pleads of the dragon, she was indeed a strong dragon that knew about his kind. Sven would try his best to deal with her in a way that would lead her to believe him, but now wasn't the time for that. She was dead set on trying to kill him, defeat him and maybe even eat him as he would approach the area she was in now. These two liked to speak more than he would expect from dragons, but now wasn't the time to dwell on that.

"Thank you for that lesson, you seem like a nice dragon." He said as he would hear the sound of the dragon appearing near him as she prepared herself for the battle to come. He would do the same with his staff in hand in front of himself as he prepared his next spell. He wasn't going to cast right away, but an aura of flames would start to encircle him causing no harm to the both of them, but causing the cold to start to lessen around him and the dragon on his shoulders.

"The poison will only seep deeper the more you move. I am here to save the both of you, originally it would have been the ice dragon, but this one on my shoulders appear. The king has gone mad, he wants to control all dragons or kill them all.....I am trying to save you two before they get here." He said as he prepared another fire spell, it seemed that he had more magic in his blood then one would expect from a dragon hunter.

Frosty paused for a moment hearing his words, they sounded as if they rang with truth, and she could believe the king had gone mad. After all he had been the one to order the betrayal of her clan. "Then some one should kill him and take over his kingdom. But going after us dragons is not the answer to his problems even if he thinks killing or controlling of us is. Let me guess you have the antidote. But if I don't go with you, you won't cure me of the posion you hit me with. My name slayer is not ice dragon it is Frosty." But she had taken notice that he had used magic the ones she had faced before had never done that. Was there something more to this slayer than she had at first thought. Perhaps so and he truly wanted to save dragons she supposed she go with him at least to find out if his words were true. "Fine I will not attack you today as it is I don't so good anyway." The temperature around them began to warm up with that admission as if the cold was receding.

When she buckled down, he wondered if it was a ploy to get him to lower his guard. She only knew the truth that he did have the cure as he would nod at her question. He almost chuckled at her name, it was ironic to be named such a name that was close to her powers. "Then let's go back to your home and talk this out. I will keep her with me, but I will follow you." He said as he would wonder if she would do as he asked. This was going to be strange to work with the dragons, if they didn't try to kill him later on.

Frosty growled low in her throat. "I would take us to my lair but I can't fly because I broke both of my wings in my landing. Until they are fully healed I can't go anywhere, and the only person who could that. You also darted and if you want me to fly, shes going to have to be taken care of first." Her home was up in the mountains where her metal forge was. It was the only thing that was the same for most dragons.

He would just sigh as this was going to be worst then he expected. "Fine, come with me. We need to go back to my cart." Sven would say as he would lead her over to his hidden cart in the woods. There his horse would be carrying a cart that didn't look much from the outside, but as he would come closer. Opening the door there was so much more inside as he would climb in with the dragon girl on his shoulder and tossed her into his bed. Magic seemed to be at work as it turned out to be much bigger then what the cart looked like outside and had enough room to fit a few more people. "So I will start to work on the cure, so just take a seat. Frosty." He said almost not being able to contain his chuckle at her name.

Frosty followed him into the car, taking notice that it was larger inside then it appeared to be on the outside. Magic must have been at work here she thought. But then her eyes narrowed slightly when she heard him speak her name. It was almost as he was having trouble containing a laugh about her name. She walked over to where she noticed was a bench and took her seat there. "If your going to laugh at my name do it openly." The ice dragon hadn't named herself it was the name her mother had given her.

He only kept working on his cure, it wasn't long before he noticed her coming to the bench. Taking his time to make sure that he mixed the ingredients into the right blend, but she was right about his laughter. "I'm sorry, I just find it a little funny. I have a bad sense of humor, but then again. Anyone that feared you would not be laughing at your name.......it suits you. Miss Frosty." He said with a light chuckle as the potion was starting to brew into a bright red color.

Frosty narrowed her gaze at him. " My mother named me after my father, and his name was indeed FyreFrost, though he was alot bigger in his dragon form and fought hard along side my mother before the final blow came. She named me just before death took her. If the slayers had bothered to look around they would have noticed that a child survived luckily my mother protected me long enough with her magic in order for me to live. It only faded out when they left.

I should hope not because if you annoy a dragon smith chances are good that your armor will suffer in the long run. I recomdend not annoying me if you want specilized armor that only I can make." She was what many considered a ice dragon but that wasn't all she was. Many people assumed a dragon hoarded treasure but it all depended on that type of dragon what kind of treasure they kept. Oh yes shed redone her families lair so that it connected with hers, and the family forge. But the humans hadn't been able to find the treasure vaults of old anicent relics the dragons had that could be dangerous in the hands of humans or others.

Sven would listen to the short tale, her family was killed by hunters like him. It was nothing that he could do about the past, but the future was going to be dark. He needed to grow in power, which is why he turned to the dragons. His own people were against him as well, so this was going to get much crazier. "I didn't mean to be rude. I promise will make them pay." He said a little disgusted by his own hunters.

"That is good to know, but I haven't given you much of a reason to trust me." Sven said honestly, once the potion was done. He walked over to the divine dragon as he moved over to her and let his arm draped around her body. Pulling her close to himself as he opened up her mouth and started to make her drink the potion. The effects would start to work quickly, as her body would start to free up from the poison and go back to normal. "So whats your name, Miss Dragon?" Sven said as he didn't really let go of her just yet.

Sapphire blinked slightly as the potion took imeditate effect. "Well if Frosty hasn't said it already. I am generally called Sapphire, you know like that dark blue gem every girl loves to show off around their necks, or in other pecies of jewelry. She felt so much better now that the posion was indeed receding. "And what I am doing laying in a bed?"

Frosty decided to leave that well enough alone true he hadn't done much to earn her trust but by healing the devine dragon first he would be making his first step in earning her trust. Though she didn't answer why her friend was laying on that bed she would leave that up to the dragon hunter to answer that one.

Once the sapphire dragon would come out of her frozen state, he was surprised that she didn't know what she was doing here. Maybe the effects were a little too strong for her, but he would only sit on the edge of the bed. "Well, I poisoned you with an arrow and then gave you a potion to clear the effects. So now your perfectly fine, so can you help heal frosty?" He asked nicely as he waited for her answer. Sven was being honest after all, but would she listen to him the guy that just hit with her with an arrow. "I wanted to have a chat with the both of you?" He asked a little confused with himself of how this was going to go.

Sapphire glanced at him and could plainly see his confusion. "You wanted a chat with us, so you darted me, to lure out Frosty? I can forgive you of that sense you healed me. And yes I can heal Frosty. I can feel her broken wings, and bruises all the way over here. But why do you want to chat with us so badly?" She didn't hold a grudge or anger for very long. Though if she were ever mated it was likely her temper would be more towards protecting her young than being angered over having been poisioned. She moved to get off the bed. "I will have to touch her to heal her I can't exactly heal from the bed, while she is sitting on the bench."
