***VERY TABOO SMUT AHEAD***
Hey there, i'm Grips. I'm relatively new here, but i've got quite a bit of RP experience under my belt. Well, I think that's all you need to know about me that you're not going to find out in the following premise. Before we get into the (admittedly, very extensive) prompt, here are a few ground rules i'd like to abide by/general info.
And now for the prompt.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Ouroborus, the Demon of Time and Madness
Your own character is very much up to your own discretion, but she should follow a few common motifs - she should have had an uneasy or tragic life up until this point (you can fine tune how tragic this is - the sadder and more bleak the better), she should have many fears, or suffer from nightmares (again, the fine details of which are up to you) and she must have something she wants to save (a family, significant other, job/education, etc.).
Your character will believe she found a way to escape her cycle when she meets a... man... online. He learns her name, he gains her trust, and you might even say they fall in love, aww. They finally agree to meet up in person, but he makes a very strange request of her. He makes her promise, almost contractually, to share all of her memories with him. All of them. Perhaps she trusts him so much because she's the first man who has ever been kind to her, or perhaps she'll say anything to finally meet the man in person. Perhaps she just agrees to make him stop acting so strangely. Regardless, she agrees. On his instance, she swears to share her memories. In doing so, she seals her fate.
He has her name. He has her word. And when, at last, they meet, he has her face. He has everything he needs to take her.
Her mind now exists in his realm - in Ouroborus.
He was never a man at all. He was, what we mere mortals might call, a demon, fishing for captives in our dimension. She doesn't know his name. Even if she did, she wouldn't be able to comprehend how to pronounce, picture or imagine what it means. In coherent terms, he is Ouroboros. This is his dimension; his thought; his dream. He controls everything here, with the exception of our protagonist's mind, which is help captive here. He can, if he wishes, give her a corporeal form, then give that form freewill or control it directly. He can manifest anything he desires in this realm, then have it act in any way he wants.
Unfortunately for her, his particular sphere of influence involves, in terms a mortal may understand, repetition. Infinity. The exhaustion of all possibilities of things which can, have and will happen. For him it is a natural drive that he must satisfy; a hunger that needs to be sated and an itch that needs scratched. But such concepts tend to drive mortals quite mad and fill them with fear and horror. Insanity, fear and horror are concepts which Ouroborus knows of, but cannot experience personally - as such, he quite enjoys bearing witness to them. They amuse him, the same way music amuses us... but in a very different, inherently terrifying way.
So, our demon needs to inflict all possibilities that can, have and will onto our female lead. He wants to taste the fear and madness ooze from her. So, purely out of personal preference, he constructs an incomprehensible number of scenarios where she will be subjected to the most horrendous forms of physical, emotional, psychological and sexual suffering, plunging into the depths of her memories to personalise these situations and create the most effective (and horrifying) circumstances he can expose her to.
She will be given form, put into a scenario, then completely and utterly destroyed and defiled until nothing is left of her, or until he desires to try a new scenario. The cycle of creation, destruction and creation will continue until all sickening, disgusting, heartbreaking, revolting and gruesome possibilities are exhausted.
By then, of course, time as we understand it will have come to an end and there will be nothing left of her former mind that we can comprehend as being remotely human. Probably.

tl;dr, your character is imprisoned by a demon who puts your character through an infinite number of nightmare scenarios where she is regenerated upon death, Groundhog Day style
It goes without saying that this NOT a roleplay for the faint of heart. Obvious troublesome themes include rape, violence, gore, character death and just about anything else you might expect to happen in a nightmare scenario.
In terms of limits, on my part, I have none to speak of. On your part, i'd prefer it if we were approaching the point of zero limits.
In terms of reality, well, as you can see, this isn't the most realistic scenario. Anything can happen, really. But I would like us to be grounded in some kind of reality. The demon isn't here to explore kinks, so things like furry characters, impossible inflations and other obscure unrealistic fetishes probably aren't going to happen (unless your character is terrified of them, for some reason). Monstrous creatures are a possibility, but if your character is anally-raped by a 50 foot tall monster with a sword for a cock, chances are she is going to be ripped in half, which would lead (obviously) to her death and regeneration.
The demon is here to traumatise your character. So think about what your character is afraid of. Is it a past experience? Is it some kind of psychological horror? Together, we will build up an idea for a scene, which I will then write your character into. You will (generally) be controlling your characters actions, or at the very least, you will be controlling her thoughts in situations where she is not in control of her body.
The possibilities are, in theory at least, endless. Your character could have a phobia of dentists and be made to experience being trapped in a chair where she is tortured by her dentists. She could be forced to relive past abuse by say, her father, who rapes and kills her in more gruesome version of what actually happened. She could be stuck in a much more traditional nightmare, say where she turns up to class with no clothes on, but instead of just laughing at her, the other students abuse her physically. She could be made to witness or influence awful things happening to family or friends. Or she could be forced to torture herself by any means you are willing to push yourself towards - self harm/mutilation, repeated suicide, corpophagia - anything your fucked up heart may desire.
I may add more to these descriptions later, but, if you're interested, please reply or PM me and we can hammer out the fine details. Thank you for reading all the way down to here.

Before we get into the (admittedly, very extensive) prompt, here are a few ground rules i'd like to abide by/general info.
- Grammar
I'm willing to admit that I make mistakes from time to time. We all do. For that reason, I don't really care too much about spelling errors - we don't all speak English as a first language after all. I only ask that you use appropriate grammar when you can - full stops/periods, commas and capitalisation of names in particular - and use proper words instead of abbreviations. Don't worry about things like colons and semi-colons too much, we're here to have fun, not pass an English exam. - Length and effort
I'm a sucker for details. I'll often go into stupid amounts of detail for my own amusement and spend way too much time on a single post. Some people find this annoying and I understand that, so if it irritates you, let me know. I don't expect you to write a chapter for every post, but what I DO expect is at least a meaty paragraph, or a couple of paragraphs. In dialogue driven sections of the RP, I don't mind only getting a few lines back at a time. - Experience and communication
I prefer to roleplay with people who have at least some experience. If you are a new roleplayer, let me know and I will give you more time and be more patient with you. No matter how experienced you are, I both want you to and encourage you to talk to me during the roleplay - about anything. Be it suggestions, advice, criticism or casual conversation, i'm happy to hear it all. We'll be building the scene of these roleplays together, so communication i key to us both walking away happy. - Response time
I'm a generally busy person, especially during the week. I also live in the UK, so you can expect me to be on during late nights/early mornings and weekends. I will attempt to at least check up on my RPs every day if I can, and if I can't respond, I will try to let you know ASAP about any delays. I ask that you try and do the same.
And now for the prompt.
