(((OoC: Sorry if this aint that good right now. I aint forum RP'd in a bit ^^')))

Tenoch looked up to the summers sky, closing his eyes after a few moments. He smiled as a breeze caressed his face before opening his eyes once again, dismounting from his horse. The few guards nearby cupped their left fist and bowed their heads, saluting, Tenoch doing the same "At ease men. Be about your duties" The soldiers nodded as Tenoch wandered through the town, returning the town's folk's salutes as he walked past. He was wearing black armour, decorated with a gold bull's skull on each shoulder and black cape, slightly work at the bottom....Or at least it would be black were it not for the red at the bottom thats lowly faded to black at the top....The blood of his enemies. It usually helped play a psychological part against people. His medium length, spiky black hair swaying a little from the breeze and his brisk pace. He could be considered quite handsome considering his muscled build and his looks were it not for the leather patch eyepatch he had over his left eye. Despite this dark appearance however, those that knew him knew that he was a gentle giant. A bit of a goody two-shoes at times but none the less, a man of conviction and integrity.

Tenoch continued towards the large castle in the middle of the city. He had been ordered to meet the king upon returning to be assigned with a special task. What it was, however, he did not yet know. As he approached the gates to the castle, 2 guards saluted, Tenoch saluting in return and walking in. He walked through the garden, letting out a silent groan as he saw the kings daughter. She pretty much hated him from what he could see. He was nothing more than a street urchin when he joined the army but his skill, dedication and bravery helped him shoot through the ranks. He met eyes with her before quickly looking away "How I despise that creature" He muttered to himself before he reached the throne room. He took a deep breath before entering, marching up to the kings throne before getting on one knee, putting his fist on his chest and bowing his head "You wished to see me my lord?" "Arise Tenoch. You are my most trusted general and now is not the time for formalities" "My lord?" "I wish you to do me a favour. My daughter is not safe here. As you know we are at war and i would like you to escort her away from here. She will tell you where or you can decide. I will not decide for fear that i may be captured and give away where she is. The future of this great nation is in your hands" Tenoch was taken aback but nodded and saluted again before leaving, the king pointing out before he left "Any form of fornication between you two can and will result in death for you Tenoch" He stopped himself from laughing as he thought "Do not worry my lord....There is no chance in the underworld of that happening"

"You are my most trusted and respected warrior, and so I give you a mission of great value." He paused, sighing lightly to himself and standing from his throne. "The Grims have announced war against us, and so I fear for the safety of my daughter. She is a target in this bloody battle, and I do not know how I could live with myself if she was murder for her blood." He stepped down from the elavated platform the throne rested upon. He walked past you, waving his had upward for you to stand. "Follow me," He stated clearly, walking behind you and heading out of the room. As he walked down the hallway, all servants and others paused to bow, but he paid little attention to them as his mind was crowded with thoughts. He turned into a room, it was an office. Several maps were posted on the walls, and he took his stand in front of the biggest one. "The Grims will most likely attack from here, and from here." He pointed and motioned with his fingers. "Their army is strong a powerful, but that is least concern. My biggest concern is where they won't attack, and where they will not bother to invade." He looked at the map. He fell silent. "With all honestly, they have a big union, and they can be found anywhere." He looked uneasy, and frightened but he stood tall and by the expression on his face was fighting the look of weakness. He placed his finger on a point. "Here." He looked over at you. "This is where I feel she will be most safe and away from war's harm." He turned to face you, "Though I am King, I have not ventured the farthest part of the country, or the world for that matter. You most likely know better than I do, so as good friend I ask for your honest opinion." He paused. It was rare that a King ever saught for help. But it appeared he was asking for it. He swallowed hard. "Your mission is to protect her. Take her as far away as possible, where she will be spared torture and safe. It won't be easy, getting her away from here without being spotted, but no one will know of her departure or yours. You will tell others that you are setting out on a private mission. No one can know where she is, except for you and I. This is a small town far from here. It will take you days to reach, but still something in my gut tells me that this is not the right place."

Tenoch started stroking the eye-patch with a gloved hand, a habit he had and did whenever he was in thought "I understand my lord. We will leave under the cover of darkness and head west for the city of Harken. I will gather supplies there and attain where to go from there. The chances of anyone there having ever seen what myself or the princess looks is slim. I will ask the princess to wear a mask or change into other clothes. I doubt she will follow the plan, or any plan i conjure for that reason. Worry not my lord for where there is a will there is a way" The king sighed "I know you and my daughter do not meet eye to eye in any way, but I trust nobody else with this task"

Tenoch nodded and crossed his arms, scanning the map "I understand my lord. It is an honour to be trusted with such a task. I will not fail you" Tenoch scanned the map and pointed to various markers, planning route's, hideouts, escape routes, locations of contacts along with other places of importance. He made mental notes before turning to the king "My lord, I know it is not my place to have them but might i request the control of the royal Shadowrunner steeds. The speed of the stallions would be useful should we need to escape. I ask for 2 because i know the princess will not want to be anywhere near me as much as possible" The king nodded and Tenoch saluted the king, bowing his head before heading to leave, thinking to himself "If the grims don't kill me....That she-demon will"

"WHAT!? " My voice thundered throughout the hallways.
"Now, now, Theodora, quiet down." The King mumbled, sighing to himself and shaking his head a bit. "You know why I chos-"
"You chose Tenoch. TENOCH. Are you out of your MIND!?"
"Oh, here she goes..." The King muttered to himself.
"Out of all of the people in the world, you chose Tenoch! Tenoch! I can't believe you'd do that. Is this punishment? I don't understand, father! You know we don't get along. We're like Cat and Dog, we want to rip each other apart!"
"Theodora..."
"And he doesn't even like me! I'm surprised he even accepted the challenge! This is probably a death-sentence for him. It's one to me! Now it may be for my protection, but I'm mentally corrupt with that cry-baby!"
"Theodora!"
"Hm?" I looked at him, fully listening.
"Theodora, sit down with me." He led me to my bed, taking a seat next to me on the edge. "I know the two of you both don't get along, for God knows what reasons, but he is my most trusted soldier, and he's very intelligent. I believe he will protect you with all of his power."
"You think he'll protect me?" I laughed at that, "Right." I said sarcastically.
"He's not a monster..."
"No, but apparently I am!" I grinned with an unimpressed expression.
"Don't be silly. The war is knocking on our doors, and if you don't flee, you will be killed. Tenoch will take you far away. Though, he has requested that you get into street-like clothing and you carry a mask-"
"What? My face too ugly for his one-eye to bare?" I crossed my arms, my eyes lowering. I was obviously irritated.
The King shook his head at my immaturity. "Darling, listen to me. Listen to him. Do as he says. I trust him, and so should you. I know why you're acting like this."
"Acting like what?" I looked away, sticking up my nose a bit.
"You're upset because I have to cancel your big 18th birthday bash in order for your flee."
My face fell. It was true. I was upset. I had spent weeks preparing for it, and tones of people were invited. I had never been so excited for something. I sighed, "I just don't understand why I need a babysitter."
"You don't. You need a warrior. Someone who will protect you. Now come on." He rose to his feet. "Go get ready, you will be leaving after sun down."

[***]

The sun had just set, and it was time for my departure. I couldn't pack anything, since it would be too obvious I was fleeing. Instead, I was given a lot of money for clothing and food from my father. I walked down the hallway, before the doors opened for me by the butlers. I thanked them, before stepping outside, where my father stood waiting by the horses. I made my way down the steps, before a servant came out with a bag. I had to bring SOME things, didn't I? The bag was attached to the horse. It was not a big bag; it just held a few personal belongings. Though, my clothing wasn't all that street-like. It was a dress, but very high-class. It was all I had, really. My father hugged me tightly; we said our farewells before I was handed to you.

After leaving the castle Tenoch headed into town, stroking the eyepatch in thought. He headed to his home, a home that appeared to belong to a peasent but on the inside was quite luxurious. Tenoch prided himself on being one with the community since they were the eyes and ears. He walked over to a barrel and grabbed a pitcher, grabbing it and filling it with beer from the barrel. He took a seat and downed a third of the pitcher, closing his eyes and looking up. "This would be so much easier if she saw me as what I am, not what I was" He shrugged and stood up, searching the house for anything expendable he could sell. This would be a long trip and he would need all the funds he could get. He sold a bunch of things like jewlerry and the like before heading back to his house and into the basement. HE grabbed some weapons; Daggers, Bow & Arrows, A shortsword and his trademark spear. The blade was coloured red at various points and their was a large red dragon engraved on both sides. He stored the weapons on various points of his body before leaving the house, heading towards the castle.

He saluted the two guards beside the gate before he entered, heading around to the point where he would meet the princess. He was checking over the things on the horses when she arrived. He continued checking over the steeds, not turning round to face her as he spoke "Princess..." He fastened the sraps on both horses, his one having his spear strapped to the right hand side. When the king left he knelt down and drew 2 daggers from sheaths he had on his legs. He gripped then and walked towards the princess. Although he would never admit it to anybody, himself included, the princess was looking as beautiful as ever. If it weren't for the fact that he despised her for the way she treated him he would probably see that. After a few moments he stopped, spun the daggers and held the blades, holding the handles out to the princess "I don't care if you can use these or not. I would rather you have something.." He handed her the daggers before heading to his horse, heaving himself up on the tall horse "We should leave now."

I had done as you asked, though I didn't own many masks. I carried an Italian Venetian half mask, that covered the eyes and a bit of the forehead. Luckily, the one I was wearing did not possess any feathers that would stand out as odd, but only some glitter and over decor. My hair was a reddish-blonde and braided thick. I had alot of hair, and it was long. The braid was thrown over my right shoulder, and trailed down my right torse side. It fell short a bit above the stomach. In order to keep myself as hidden as possible, I was wearing a white cloak, that hooded my head and shadows my face if you weren't directly talking to me. Luckily, the night was cool so the cloak would benefit me. Though, one of my biggest problems for hiding was my left hand. I had a thick scar that stretched from the palm all the way to the backside of the hand. It was extremely visible to the eye, so in order to hide that, I wore white gloves. Rather than wearing one, which was a little too obvious.

"Oh, of course!" I said, "What little use a princess has with daggers! For she knows nothing but how to party and whine, right?" I growled at you, narrowing my eyes to give an evil glare for a moment. I grinned a bit, shaking my head. I slapping your hand lightly, rejecting the daggers. "I know how to use them. It's not all that difficult to grip a dagger and rip through a being's body." The way I said that was nearly chilling. Something about the way I worded that, or even mentioned that, seemed almost deranged. I lifted the right side of my dress, revealing my long smooth leg. On the upper thigh, about mid-way in between knee and waist, was a strap that held a dagger. It was a unique dagger. Something you couldn't find just anywhere. The dagger's nose curved and was plenty sharp. "I have my own. Three, to be exact." I held my nose a little high, as if proud of my possession. I let my dress fall to cover myself, before stepping aside from you and to my horse. I watched as you parted to your house, and mounted. "Ahem." I said, making a clearing noise with my throat. I turned my head to face the horse. I wasn't planning on climbing it myself. As I waited a moment, and you didn't pay any attention, I smirked. "Fine! I'll do it myself!" I grumbled, attempting to mount the horse, but the horse nayed and took a few steps forward, causing me to yelp lightly and fall to the ground. I landed roughly on my backside. I grumbled in pain, my dress and cloak scattered across the pavement. "Why do I get the feeling you taught him that?" I stared up at you with an irritated look on my face.

Tenoch sighed and dismounted from his horse whistled at the horse to come back "I did no such thing.." He held his hand out to her to help her up "I would appreciate that you don't blame me for your ignorance" After she made her decision of wether to accept his help or not he walked over to the horse and patted it on the neck "You have to treat these creatures with respect. In return they give you the same" The horse snorted out in apparant approval and he smiled "Try getting on now" He offered to help her up before heading back to his, climbing on and patting it's neck "Shaddowrunners are very temperamental" He hid a smirk as he thought "Very much like yourself 'Your majesty'" He looked over to her, rolling his shoulders "If you are ready then we should depart. Stay close" He flicked the reigns and kicked the sides of the horse, causing it to speed off in a gallop towards the edge of the city

Silence fell between the two of us after your harsh comment. I stayed quiet, before pulling the reigns to the right and taking a dramatic turn. The horse made a huffing and puffing before it was followed by quick trots away from behind you. "Forget it, I'll find my own way!" I called out, without even making eye contact. The horse and I disappeared into the dark woods beside our path. The sky was covered in a blanket of black; the moon the only ghostly form that accompanied the darkness. The forest was like a labyrinth. It was hard to make out a tree from a brush, and the path was muddy. The horse suddenly slowed, making a light nay, as if rejecting the path. The path before us was barely visible in the distance. It was damp, and there was fog hugged to the ground, making it even more difficult to see or to identify the surroundings. The horse made a snorting nay, before taking a few steps back. "Shh." I said, tapping the sides of the horse so that it would got forward. It obeyed, though stopped again at the sound of growling. This time, my attention was caught. My eyes widened as I looked around. The growling got louder, and it was obviously not a horse. I could feel my heart racing. From the mists of the forest, came three wolves. The horse screamed, hopping on to its hind legs and causing me to fall to the ground. Two of the dogs pranced, jumping on the horse and bitting its legs. The horse stomped, nearly crushing me but luckily I moved. I found myself before a wolf. I swallowed hard, though before the dog was able to take a nip at me, an arrow stabbed into the ground, scaring it. A few more arrows were shot, the wolveed disappearing into the night. I felt so relieved, thinking it was you, but when looking up, I was wrong. I was staring up at two men, who looks down at me with chilling smiles.

"Now, now, what do we have here?" The looked down at me, before bending down and grabbing my arm. I grumbled in pain as he plopped me onto my feet, but didn't let go of my arm. His grip was extremely tight, suddenly there was a twisting in my stomach as they laughed evily. "So pretty." He continued, lifting my dress before slapped him across the face. Before I knew it, I was backhanded and back on the floor. My mask had been smacked off my face, but luckily they still didn't reconize me. My hood had also fallen, and my hair band had fallen, causing my braid to become loose. "Spoiled bitch." He cussed, "Take her stuff! CHeck it all!" He growled to his partner, before he bent down. "Now what's a pretty little high class like you doing in a slum area like this? Huh?" He brushed the side of my face, but I bit his finger angrily, and he screamed in pain. The partner neared the horse, but the horse toook off, the bag falling to the floor and spewing out tones of gold coins. The partner called to his boss, who now had me by the neck and holding me up off the ground. Rather than holding his wrists and getting nowhere, I went to reach for my daggers. Before I could reach them, he threw me to the side. I slammed against a tree, falling to the floor. "Tie her up." He spat out, "We can sell her. Get a fortune." He smiled evily as he looked at the coins. He smiled, knowing it was pure, and beginning to collect it.

His partner approached me, but I grabbed my dagger from my thigh swiftly. "Don't you dare touch me!" I growled, backing away from me. The partner stopped, raising his hands at my sword-point. I backed away, but he grabbed my wrist, twisting it and causing me to drop the dagger. I yelled, in pain.

Tenoch had been going for a minute or two before looking back, not hearing her say she was leaving. He looked back and cursed, sighing as he headed back "The upper class truely are a hassle" He headed backwards until he found a fresh trail "Let us hope this is her trail" He kicked the horse in the sides, getting it to gallop off at top speed. As he kept an eye on his path he felt some emotion inside of him. Something he had trained himself not to feel but it was surficing. Worry. He continued heading along, slowing down as he heard a yell in pain in the distance. He stopped the horse as he heard 3 voices. 2 men and one he recognized instantly "Princess!" he muttered under his breath. He climbed from his horse, removing his chest armour. He decided it would be better to move quickly than be big and bulky.

He snuck through the bushes towards the source of the noise, taking 2 arrows, his bow and his sword with him. He held one arrow between his ring finger and pinkie and the other between his middle and fore finger. He held the bow sideways and positioned the bow so that as he pulled back and released, the two arrows flew through the air slamming into the bandits. He quickly threw his bow to the horse before diving out of the bushes, ambushing the bandit closest to the princess. and llopping his head off. He quickly turned and faced the second bandit, reaching one hand back protectivly "Go m'lady! Hide, get out of here!" He brought the sword up, blocking the bandits swipe that came towards him. He growled and pushed into the deadlock "Well well well. We 'ave the girls little lapdog" He slammed his boot into the bandits stomach, knocking him back "Choose your words carefully scum. This 'lapdog' is deadly" The bandit smirked "You wont leave here alive. Neither of you"

As the bandit backed off 2 others came out. As he was about to attack he felt something slam into his shoulder. He looked down and saw an arrow shaft sticking out. He had been hit. He grunted and growled in pain, charging at the bandits. He ducked under a swipe from one, stabbing the blade into his stomach and pulling it to the side, causing him to fall to the ground. He cut the second's sword arm off before he could attack before cutting the other arm off, then both of his legs before leaving him to bleed to death. As he chased the last bandit, presumebly the leader, he felt another 2 things hit his chest when he took a step. He looked down and saw another 2 arrows: One just above his hip on the right side and one at the bottom of his ribs on the left. He dropped his sword and fell to his knees as the bandits laughed sinisterly, heading off into the forest. Tench dragged himself over to a nearby tree, grunting in pain with each movement, roaring in pain every once in a while. He slumped against the tree, sitting with his back resting on it as he panted for breath, closing his eyes

As you screamed for me to leave, I widened my eyes in shock. I didn't know what to do. Following your words I ran. I was grabbed by a man, but luckily I grabbed my second blade and cut him enough for him to let go. I didn't run far, probably 10 meters. I didn't exactly know where to go. I hid behind a bush to keep an eye on the situation. I could feel my body and mind fill with emotion. My hand were trembling, and I could barely focus. Tears dwelled in my eyes as I watched you get struck by an arrow. The first time was hard enough, I had to hold my mouth to stop me from screaming out loud. The second and third hurt even more, but finally they were gone.

"Tenoch!" I screamed out, running over to you. Tears fell from my eyes, streaming down my exposed cheeks. My mask was gone, my cloaked ripped, there was no hiding. I practically jumped for you, sliding on the ground to your side. I held your arm, looking at the three arrows jabbed in three different parts of your torse. I held both hands, one over the other, on my mouth. I closed my eyes, a few more tears falling from my bright green eyes. "It's all my fault." I blamed myself, for once in my life! "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" I said, looking over at you as I went to touch you, but refrained in panic. I didn't know what to do. My lips trembled along with my hands and my body. My heart was pounding roughly against my chest. "Don't leave me." I said, taking your head behind my hand. "Hold on." I looked down at your bleeding body. I touched the arrown near your ribs, but then remembered. "I can't pull them out here." I took a deep breath, trying to pull myself together and to try to get the most help I could for you. "If I take the arrows out, you may bleed to death before I'm able to stitch you." I looked around; no one. I looked back at you, shaking my head and looking down shamefully. "I'm so sorry. For everything." I glanced into your eyes before slowly, as to not cause too much pain, wrapped my arm around you. "I'm going to help you get up. On 1... 2... 3!" I pulled you back onto your foot, placing your arm over my neck as I helped walk you to the only horse we had. I made a weird noise with my mouth, and the horse slowly lay itself down. I placed you on it's back. "Stay with me, Tenoch." I said, about to get on aswell before realizing, "Money..." I mumbled. I ran over to the bag, I grabbed as much as I could fit in my corset and my breasts. I also put some in my hood. Taking as least time as possible I ran back to the horse. I hopped on behind you, taking the reigns myself before tapping the side of the horse, and the horse picking itself up.

The horse trotted lightly. Luckily, the city was down the road. It was a small town and few people were out so late at night. I stopped as soon as he hit the main road with building. I hopped off, running over to random people and asking for help. Most of them pushed me away or didn't listen. "He's injured, please!" No one would help, or even bother to listen.

"Psst." A man said, "Bring him over here!" A man called, coming from an alleyway. I guided the horse around the corner from the ground, and the man was opening a large door to a barn. "Bloody hell, what happened to the two of you?" The man was farely age. Probably in his early 60s. "There's no going anywhere tonight. You two are staying here. My wife and I've got an extra bedroom and plenty of food and bath water. The horse can stay in the barn until he is well again."

"Thank you!"

[***]

After demounting you from the horse, we placed you on the queen sized bed in their spare bedroom. It wasn't that big of a house, but it was warm and cozy. I didn't waste any time. The wife had brought me a bottle of alcohol, bandages, towels, thread and needle, and a bucket of hot water. I pulled out my dagger, cutting your top clothing off to access the wounds better. It took me only a few moments before you were completely topless. "Okay, this is going to hurt." I looked down at you. "But bare with me, ok?" I said, before taking a deep breath and pulling the arrow in your shoulder out as fast as I could. I held an alcohol-drenched towel to the wound and it quickly filled up with blood. I did the same for the three other wounds. "Hold these towels to your ribs and your waist as I stitch up your shoulder." I demanded, "Put alot of pressure to slow the bleeding." I had the thread and needle already ready. But before I did that, I was using tweezers to pull out the remaining small particles of wood from the wound, so that nothing would be infect. After I was done with that, I began to stitch your shoulder. "How is it?"

The last thing Tenoch saw before he lost conciousness was Theodora running towards. He chuckled weakly, thinking to himself "The irony....Would be funny.....If I wasn't doomed" His mind was a wash of images as he slipped in and out of conscienceness. Blood. Dirt. A horse. Arrows. Stone. Town. Flames. Nothing processed in his mind until he slowly woke, seeing the princess treat his wounds. He would have protested since he was topless, wanting to try and stay professional. But he was too exhausted and decided it didn't matter. He closed his eyes, wincing and grunting in pain every now and again "Please. Try and be gentle" He said with a smile. He continued to lay there as she treated his wounds "You are very good at this"

He closed his eyes as she finished up, doing as she asked when she needed help. He oepned his eyes when she was stitching his shoulder and she asked "How is it?" "Well, other than the searing pain and the fact I cannot move?" He looked up, his eyes meeting hers "Yes, I am fine. Thank you" He smiled and watched her stitch his wounds, wincing every now and again "Thank you...You did not have to save me. Truth be told I did not expect you to" He lay his head on the pillow, looking up at her, her face highlighted from the flickering light of the candles "I would have gladley given my life to save yours. In all honesty, I have always taken a liking to you. For some reason I wanted to be sure no harm came to you...Even when you treated me like a dirty peasent because of my roots. I still thought you were a thing of beauty." He coughed a little before closing his eyes, relaxing "My life is allready yours to command as you see fit. But if there is anything else I can do. Just give the order and I will be at your command your highness"
