I tend to prefer plots that are darker often with an element of abuse within them. My ideas aren't necessarily for the faint hearted, so feel suitably warned.
In general though anything a little unusual can take my liking, it doesn't have to be all grimdark. I do love horror themes though.
I like to play the dominant character usually, and normally play against female characters. I'm open to 'others' potentially depending on the details. I'm happy to play multiple characters where necessary, or more often a main character with the odd side character.
I've been roleplaying for ages so I'm used to most things. I put effort into my replies and expect at least some back, they don't have to be epic replies every time though, flexibility is important. Sometimes shorter posts can help a plot keep going after it's been a while.
I can get busy sometimes, so can't reply non-stop. When I've got the time, I love to reply plenty. It's often nice to have more frequent replies at first to get things going, where possible.
I do PM's, email, I'm open to other methods. No time for IM sorry. I'll write third person, or first person depending on the idea and partner preference.

Ideas - a few potential starting points, they're open to discussion.
Exploited: A strikingly pretty young waitress, from a dirt poor family, is targeted by her employer for exploitation. He sees in her an opportunity for fun and profit,
whether he wants to have fun with her for himself or decides to turn her out.
The Girlfriend: A young man has a doting, attentive and charming girlfriend, who he travels around with. He's lazy, callous and uses her as an asset to get what he wants.
The Backpacker: A confident young woman's trip of a lifetime goes wrong. She is kidnapped by pirates, or rebels, or perhaps drugged at a club. Maybe drugs are placed in her bag and she falls on the wrong side of 'the law'. Perhaps a cartel enslaves her.
The Reporter: A talented, passionate, junior reporter is on the verge of a career making corruption or crime scoop. She should have been more cautious though, because they get to her.
Payback: A man has run up huge gambling debts and skips town leaving without even a word. The creditors arrive at the home of his unsuspecting family, where the only 'asset' they find is his beautiful 17/18 year old daughter (wife too possibly or instead, though daughter is preferred). They decide to take an immediate 'down-payment', to relieve their irritation, while they decide how she can work off her family's debt and/or send the father a few encouragement pictures to motivate him a little.
The Price of Fame: An attractive girl, semi-famous in her niche acquires a devoted super fan. He's the classic obsessive, introverted, smart geek and learns absolutely everything about her. Perhaps she even encourages a little of his attention. His extensive knowledge make it easy to capture her when his obsession increases and easier to toy with her when she's in captivity. The woman could be a Youtube 'celebrity' (I have some I like), minor sports star, streamer, cosplayer, anything really. Ask about big-star celebrity, possible, but I'm a bit more picky on that one.
Lakeside View: A couple or friends (alternative types of some kind ideally, emo, hipster whatever) are out on a camping holiday, when they harassed by local thugs/angry older teens. They see the girl is gorgeous and the opportunity can't be missed. Maybe the boyfriend runs off like a coward, or is forced to watch. Maybe it's girlfriends, just friends or lovers. (Like the 'hoodie horror' movie Eden lake, but with rape).
The Private Performance: The brother of a renown and talented contemporary dancer gets into debt with the mob. A mob capo is a particular 'fan' of this woman, and threatens to kill his whole family unless she gives special performance(s). - a particularly dark variation of this can be done, where he leaves her so she can't dance again.
