Hi there! As you'll notice I'm new to the site, but an experienced Roleplayer in general. I thought I would put out a fairly short but fairly specific request thread for a story I've been craving for a long time now. I've had trouble finding a writer who can convey the tone I want for this story, but hopefully I'll find someone who can help me do it justice.
Daiquiri Dreams
A lithe young man, barely more than a boy really, stumbles into a small bar, near last call, and seats himself at the bar. It's a cozy little joint, off in the corner a radio is playing slow jazz, and the dim lights give off a surreal, dream like atmosphere. It's clear the boy's already been drinking, though he's not blind drunk, simply giddy, and tired. He slumps on the counter as the bar tender approaches. The last of the patrons leave for the night. It's just the boy and the bartender now. He orders a drink, something sweet, a daiquiri, the house special. The bartender mixes his beverage with a smile and tells him it's on the house. He's got an honest smile this bar tender, and they get to talking about, anything really. Before long the glass is empty, the boy orders another, and the man behind the counter lets him know with a smile that it's already past last call, but he might make an exception if he were to get a kiss. One thing leads to another as these things do, and the boy wakes up the next morning wondering if it was all a dream, but hoping it wasn't.
The tone I am really trying to capture here is that of a dreamy, surreal atmosphere with a generous serving of sensual physical contact. This isn't necessarily a sexy RP, in fact this RP could easily play out with no sex at all. A brush on the shoulder, a gentle stroke on the cheek, getting lost in each other's eyes, the kind of stuff that makes you feel like you're in another world. I've had trouble finding a writer who can get this right, but hopefully I will. As for the characters.
The boy
A young man, perhaps he's 18 and celebrating his new found freedom, perhaps he's a 17 year old with a fake ID. He should be youthful, slender, and beautiful. A young soul still finding himself in the world.
The bartender
A slightly older man, in his early to late twenties, tall, toned, but not overly muscular. A little more rugged than the boy, but not to the point of being brutish, maybe he has the barest hint of stubble by the end of his shift. He's not a predator, he simply knows what the boy wants, and is happy to be a part of it, maybe even guiding him.
