The day was sunny and bright, not a cloud in sight but if a person were to roll down their window during a drive, they would surely love the breeze. Liam was one such person, his sandy hair blew around in the wind as he leaned out the window with his usual smile as he drove down the road in the delivery van. It was always nice to be able to get out to drive, delivering or picking up a package was a happy coincidence.

He would press the breaks of the van as the blinker would come on, his turn would come to a stop as the van would come to a stop at a large gate. Beyond it lay a massive white mansion that had three large sections, its middle most one just a bit forward than the rest of the building and would stand far taller. Numerous windows lined along the front of the home but the one common thing they all had in common was not only had he never seen them open, each one was covered by a blackout curtains which made seeing inside an impossibility. The door was made of a beautiful oak and two long stained glass windows stood parallel and like the rest of the windows, unable to see within. There was a large balcony that stood directly over the doorway that made leaving packages rather simplistic without having to worry about rain if it ever happened.

Liam would step out of his van, a large box in his hand as he would press the button at the gate to let the owner he had arrived. "Hey, It's me again. Got another package from some lovely..." He would move the box in front of himself and continue. "...people at the Coco Lagerfeld Company. I think they liked your latest work." This was the usual process he had to do in order to get past the gate, when he first started coming to the mansion, he couldn't even get that far.

A heavy sigh left Mia's mouth as she sat in front of a row of monitors. Looking at the one smack dab in the middle, it was the security camera at her front door. So he was back again? This delivery man had been coming to her home since the last one quit. Before him there were two others, all quitting or finding different routes. Delivering to her house was probably the easiest thing physically but hardest mentally. She never let any of them see her. Hell this male was the first one she'd let past her front gate. That reason was simply because it was the summer season and there were a lot of merchandise that needed to be shipped. This made retrieval of the packages easier on Amy and herself.

Brushing some platinum silver bangs from her eyes she looked to the doorway of the room where her lovely assistant and best friend Sasha was standing. Sasha had been a stray when Mia first met her. Living on the streets and surviving day to day but despite her appearance, Sasha showed no fear or worry towards her. This led Mia to latch onto that and she took her in and gave her a job. That was eight years ago. Now they were best friends and partners in her work.
"Another package?"
"Yeah. Could you?"
"Of course. I'm also gonna head to the store. Want anything?"
"Surprise me?"
Sasha smiled and walked over to her friend, kissing her cheek before heading to the front door. Opening it she was wearing a crimson red tank top and a pair of black short shorts with a pair of black flats. Looking at the male she offered a small smile.

"Afternoon. Thanks for the package."
She said in her usual chipper tone. Taking the package she slipped it into the house and set it at the front door before shutting the door. If he did get a view inside he'd see very few lights on and while it wasn't dark, it was shaded inside. A large marble stair case led to a second floor but there wasn't a soul in sight other than Sasha at the moment. Once the door was shut she plucked a pair of keys from her front pocket and smiled.
"That all?"
Mia and Sasha's house had a reputation for being secluded and while Sasha was the more visible of the two, she wasn't one for small talk. She said what needed to be said and then whomever was there was asked to leave simply because they had no further business.

Liam would simply wait as he had done prior, originally there were a couple of underlings that had this home. It received many different packages but the main form came in the export. His business had taken off more than ever since the fashion designer began to ship her products to the world. There was just a small problem that each man had came to him with and demanded to be reassigned. There was just too much distance between the fashion designer and...well, the known world at large. It would quickly surge around and soon, no one wanted to even try at that point. It was then that Liam took it upon himself to do the job himself. While he could see the hardships of having this person under his route, his overall positive demeanor would always try and find the brighter side of things and he felt that it is what carried him through most days.

His attention would see movement as Sasha appeared from the building. Liam would straighten his posture and raise a hand in greeting to the white haired woman whom came to retrieve the package. "Yep, here ya go." It looked just as glamorous inside as it did out. The would be lying if he told himself that he was not curious of the insides of the building. She would put away the package and then she would turn around to ask if that was all. He would blink several times before laughing hesitantly. "Oh, yeah, yeah. For now, I'm sure you'll see me again." He would turn around and take a few steps before pausing and looking back to Sasha. "You heading out?"

Sasha used a small button on her key fab to open one of the garage doors showing a white 2017 Mustang Saleen sitting there ready to be taken for a drive. Glancing back at the male as he asked if she was heading out she raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. Have a good day."
She said in a cool tone before walking over to the car. Climbing into the front seat she slipped on a pair of sunglasses before starting the engine. Pulling out of the garage she closed the garage door once more and drove around the van before heading to the gate. Using a remote she opened the gate and left to do her shopping for herself and Mia. She didn't care about leaving the delivery man in the drive way simply because he was able to get out on his own, the entire house was locked down like a prison and Mia was most likely in her design room now.

Smirking a bit she shook her head. One of the things she enjoyed about being in that house was the quiet. She did love going out and getting some sunlight but she also liked sitting at home and just spending time with Mia. Personally she felt Mia should try and get out. More and more humanoid's were out and about, some rather large ones and they were being accepted. It was slow of course but they were being accepted. Mia was just too hurt from a lot of bad experiences. Not surprising as most humans naturally feared anything bug like and putting a large spider body on any female would deter a lot of people.

Heading down the high way she stopped at the grocery store and pulled out her list so that she could keep track of what they actually needed as well as figure out what to get for Mia.

Liam would watch as the woman would open the garage door with a remote to reveal a white sports car and she would give him a simple and straight to the point answer, leaving the conversation dry. He hesitantly scratched the back of his head at the cold response but that was some people, little need for chit-chat and little else. He would watch as she would leave him to make her way to the car. The delivery man would walk to his van and look back toward the house. He wondered if there were any other people inside and what they were like. He only ever say Sasha come to and from the building but without actually seeing it himself, it was an unknown.

The white tailed woman would lower the door as she would back out and pass the van, Liam waving her a goodbye with a homely smile. He would watch her leave down the road with the speed that one such car could afford. He would chuckle and place his hand on the door handle and speak to the van. "It's okay, your just right the way you are girl." He would say patting the vehicle as if it would answer him back. He would open the door and slide inside but before he would pull the keys from his pocket he would look at the floorboard to notice a small, lengthier box.

His head would hit the steering wheel lightly. He would grab the package and walk back to the button, pressing it. "Hey, me again...again. I kinda...sorta have another box." It was usually the other woman that accepted the packages but wasn't expecting miracles. "Do I leave it by the gate or the door? I could bring it by later when your...friend comes back?" The ending of his sentence mixing with more of a question toward the relationship. He didn't want to make assumptions so he tried to pick the best natural ground.

Mia had been making her way down to the kitchen for something to eat when she heard the doorbell again. Raising an eyebrow she walked over to the kitchen and grabbed an iPad off of the island counter. Pulling up the security feed she looked at the male and sighed. Pressing the speaker button she spoke in a melodic tone, soft and sweet but cold as well.
"Leave it at the door."
Once that was said she removed her finger from the speaker so she could hear him if he decided to speak again and went to the fridge. Grabbing a bottle of water she popped the cap open and took a long sip before leaning against the wall.

Rubbing her forehead before raking her clawed fingers through her hair. She had a lot of designs to work on this month and next week would be a good portion of skirts, tank tops and some personal requests for bikini's and risque lingerie. When was the last time she'd dressed up for some bedroom activities? It was a few years ago with a male humanoid. He was half canine and while he wasn't the nicest of them all, he was one hell of a lover and he didn't mind her arachnid form. He was just a douche bag. Which was why he was an ex lover.

Grabbing herself some sweet snacks she looked at the iPad to see if the male was still there. She wouldn't be opening that door till he was long gone.

Liam would simply wait, rocking on the backs of his heels with a bit of a whistle as he continued to think of the inside of the house. Maybe she had gone to the other side for something, it looked like it might take a bit to get to the front door but it was purely guesswork. That was until a voice would come over the intercom once more as the woman would simply state that he could leave it at the door. He would quickly snap back to the here and now. He would nod to...himself "Right-o!" He would walk back through the gate and to the door not to far away as he would place the package at the side of the door. He was in mid-turn when he would pause.

He would slowly turn to look at the glass and sure enough, it was nigh impossible to see a single thing on the other side. She was sure reclusive in her lifestyle, that much was sure but she seemed to take things to a whole other level. He never really delved into the lives of his clients but this made him curious. He would turn and make his way back to his van, taking hold of his phone as he would start up the van and pull away from the gates and start down the road.
