This RP is to be loosely based on the book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" ( which I think was originally a radio broadcast). If you have read or heard it , then great!. If you have no knowledge of it then you can just read the description below and I hope you will be good to go.
Plot:
Our hero adventurer/ explorer and uncontrollable sex junky, Jim , goes around the universe gathering exotic , queer and sometimes exceedingly funny experiences.
He is a human and consequently has the lifespan of any other human. So how does he intend to cross the huge intergalactic distances? With the help of a space craft designed ( for no reason) in the shape of a swordfish and armed with the power of the "Infinite Improbability Drive" or "IID". The function of this drive( think of it as an engine) is to generate infinitely improbable situations, thus transporting the ship to highly improbable locations , no matter where in the universe.
Jim is looking for a crew which would include a first mate, a technician/ engineer , a scientist to try understand the IID in vain ( for amusement), someone to make the tea and sentient beings for all sort of odd jobs you can think of.
NOTE:
This is clearly a long term RP.
You are free to make up your own species( you yourself can be of any species you want) and we will make our planets and galaxies on our own ( and even add the known ones if we want) and do whatever we want in the universe.
It is a pretty open RP and only the concept of the IID has been taken from the book, though time to time reference to the original contents can be made ( if you happen to have read or heard it).
Both females and males ( and even uncategorised alien species) are welcome.
