After along absence because of a rather unpleasant and unexpected illness, I've decided to return here, to hopefully set up a sweet and romantic roleplay.
My ideal roleplay would be in a courtly setting in the sixteenth to nineteenth century (or fantasy versions thereof). I can also go earlier if you like, but I know less about that. I would prefer playing a young and handsome nobleman or prince in one of the scenario snippets below or in another kind of story. I’m willing to try almost anything as long as romance is an important aspect of it all.
For a posting perspective I prefer going with first person, but I can also write third if that has your preference. I can't say much about post lengths because I think that it should really depend on what's happening. Sometimes, when events move quickly, there isn't much room for long descriptions. I would want a mix of story and smut, and romance in both aspects.
I'm looking to play through either email or on the forum (the pm system still is a little hard). In a roleplay, my posting length will generally tend to be about a paragraph, depending on what's happening. In general, I write in English, but I'm trying to learn German (mind you, it's not that good yet), so it could also be fun to try that.
One thing that I really like is realism. So, I would rather not include things like oversized breasts or very big penises (really, I prefer personalities to sizes) Personalities are an important part of this, I just need some realism to preserve my immersion.
For my partner, the most important thing is that they have a personality. I know that this sounds just the same as everybody else, but it is something that I find really important. I don’t really like complete pushovers and the like, I like women who know what they want, which doesn’t mean having to be a bad person or very bossy or the like. In terms of appearance, I prefer women over girls so to say. I’m not overly interested in exceedingly skinny women, and in fact prefer to have a little more body. Aside from that, I also love slightly older women, and dislike being more than a few years older than my partner.
For the smut, I am not the kind of person who sees sex as being about submitting and dominating. To me, it's about mutual love, which I like to see reflected. There however are some oddities about me, so I made an incomplete list below:
Tenderness, cuddling, kissing, fondling, the sweet stuff.
Consensual (the only way I like it. This is very important to me)
Marriage (not for every set-up, but for some it's an important part)
Giving (I love making my partner feel good and not just like a body or an object)
Pregnancy (it's not just hard to avoid in the period, but also is important for many other things. And some women look so good when they're expecting. This can of course be skipped).
Costume and underwear (I do love my costume dramas)
Surroundings (always makes things more interesting)
Plot ideas
1) Happily arranged marriage
Our characters have been destined to get married for years but have never really met in private before. Luckily, they are a great match and they fall for each other.
2) A Royal Affair
One or both of our characters are very unhappily married when they meet at a ball. Something begins to develop between them, but they can't let people know.
3) Love knows no rank
In this one, your character would be of a lower social class than mine, but he still falls in love with her. This can go in multiple directions, from just liaisons to actually going public and getting married.
4) Unloved
This is an idea that I had while I was ill, and I personally think that it is very romantic. In it, your character is a wealthy heiress, who for some reason isn’t seen as physically attractive. Perhaps it’s her weight, she might have some kind of disability, or she just doesn’t have the right kind of face. Nevertheless, because of her wealth, she has many suitors, who all clearly, or not so clearly, don’t care for her, just for her money. My character is different, and actually likes her because of who she is.
5) The crossdresser
In an age where women were very restricted in what they could do, there were many who decided to disguise themselves as a man to seek more freedom and adventure. I think that it could be very interesting to try a roleplay where your character is one of these women, and our characters feel attracted to each other, leading to a lot of confusion and difficulties.
