My name is Rosewood, I'm an experienced roleplayer and I've decided to write out a thread for something very specific I'm looking for, namely a writing partner to write detailed stories with that genuinely connect with both of us. Something with emotional depth, deep truths and meaningful revelations.
I understand that's a lot to ask and that I won't get many responses. But one good writing partner is worth anything, wouldn't you say?
Please read everything properly before responding, I'll know if you haven't and I won't bother replying. Make sure your message interests me, tell me why you want to RP and what you want us to do together. Ideas are appreciated but not a must! All I need is to be convinced it's worth both our time to write something together.

What I am looking for
A partner who stays in touch, even if she can't write for a while. I don't mind waiting for weeks or even months, as long as you can give me a message every now and again to let me know your still here and still want to pick up what were doing. I have all the patience in the world, don't worry about that.Another thing that's vital is a degree of openness and depth. I expect our story to be about something relevant and meaningful. You don't have to bear your soul or anything but if our characters are going to travel together, let's have them talk about something worthwhile, maybe they muse on what the underlying cause of evil is or what happiness truly is or why we crave the approval of others. Ideally, the stories themselves provoke these discussions and also set the stage for the problems themselves. Like maybe a story on time travel can provoke discussions about the nature of time itself.
Finally, be detailed and make me feel like we are truly there, in the story. Like we are sharing the experience together. I love immersion more then anything else.
Story ideas
I don't have a lot of ideas here yet, I'll add more as I go. For the record, if you don't see an idea you like here by all means message me, tell me what your looking for and be prepared to answer a lot of questions and afterwards, receive a custom RP that we can work out together.Without further adue:
Cursebearer
This idea works both if we each play multiple (side-)characters so we can form a band of adventurers though it is workable with just one character each. The setting is one where magic doesn't consist of spells but rather of enchanting objects to enhance their performance, like a sword that can cut steel, or give it magical abilities, like a staff that spew fire or a ring that let's one control water or an amulet that imparts the owner with the ability to sense danger.
One of our characters carries such a magical weapon, specifically a 'cursed' weapon, making them a cursebearer. In this setting a cursed weapon would be a weapon with a negative influence or effect on it's wielder. Normally such a weapon would be destroyed but this weapon is, for some reason, far too powerful to do so. No amount of damage will even scratch it and even magical attacks or anti-magical attacks have no effect on it. And when left on it's own, the weapon somehow calls out to passers by, tempting them to pick it up. When they inevitably do, the weapon attempts to seize control of their mind. Those who give in lose their identity on the spot and turn into mindless berserkers, possessed by the sword into killing everyone they can get their hands on. Those who resist the sword's influence can wield it, though the sword continues to try to corrupt them at all times. The sword possesses formidable powers but drawing on those powers makes the user more bloodthirsty and violent until they inevitably lose control.
The cursebearer is capable of containing and even somewhat wielding the weapon, though they are reluctant to do so. The cursebearer is looking for a way to destroy the cursed weapon and free the world of it. The other character, a wielder of some kind of magical equipment, happens to meet them and learns of their quest and joins them out of respect.
Again, I have this story and the setting worked out in my head but we can modify it as needed or desired.
Towerclimb
Takes place in a relatively ordinary town which has a not-so-ordinary landmark. Within a dozen yards of the town is an enormous tower, stretching as high as the eye can see. It has only a single entrance and those who enter through it cannot come back out. Placed on the right side of the entrance is a plaque that reads
'Those who enter beware, for here body and soul alike are tried and tested and those who enter cannot leave. Yet those who reach the top will find a prize worthy of the trials they endured.'
Our characters are lifelong friends who have always dreamed of climbing together and who finally enter the tower to climb to the top. I won't lie, I largely have this story worked out in my head, including what's at the top. However I am amenable to changing it however you like, though that would ruin the surprise of what is at the top. It's up to you.
Astral travelers
Our characters stumble across a technique that allows the user to use lucid dreams to get into a dreamworld. The dreamworld is composed of a number of layers, each with their own unique properties. The dreamworld obviously allows for a lot of things that wouldn't normally be possible. Perhaps we explore the dreamworld and it's possibilities or we try to journey towards the innermost layer, which no one has ever seen before.
While I have an idea for what this could look like I won't share it here so you can fill in the blanks yourself. Give you a chance to make up your own version, I'm sure we can mix and match our versions to produce an even better story together.
The Expanse
Half-way into the 21st century, a great discovery was made that would shape the future of our race forevermore. A way was found to open a portal to another dimension, which was soon called the Expanse. The Expanse is essentially a vast nothingness, a seemingly limitless place with nothing in it. The particular nature of the dimension is obviously something we'd have to work out together.
Exploration of the Expanse was cautious at first but as the years turned to decades the technology for moving to the Expanse became common place, as did civilian travel and settlement. Despite it being a vast nothingness human beings can survive in the Expanse, either with the help of technology or perhaps the Expanse is suitable for human life on it's own. I'm thinking that there are mysteries to the Expanse as well as properties that make it a prosperous place to live. Perhaps there is an ambient radiation that allows for easy energy production or perhaps the Expanse isn't hampered by natural laws allowing for the creation of unique things you can't get in our dimension. Either way, our characters have some reason for going to the Expanse and exploring it together, either by piloting a small ship together or some other means of transportation like portals, spacesuits or what have you.
I know this is a whacky idea but we can make it work, I'm sure.
The Great Conflict
Can be set in either a sci-fi setting or a fantasy setting. In both cases, several great nations get in conflict with each other, either politically, economically or an outright military conflict. Either way the resulting story allows us to explore their different politicals philosophies, ideologies, beliefs and ways of life. Our characters would, for whatever reason, be on the same side but argue over everything. This plot obviously has a lot of directions it can go into.
In conclusion
