Earth is boring, let's STEP IT UP A LITTLE!

Welcome to the universe.....No, I mean ALL of it. Somewhere in this universe....or, maybe another one....Or maybe it's none of them, something had a dream, and then Dream himself told his Endless brothers and sisters of it. Destiny ordered his siblings to send their manifestations out into the universe, to choose a planet, and each of these dark gods rooted themselves in these planets. Some chose to be conquering gods, making their existence known on these planets and warping it to their image, setting themselves up as the kings or queens of entire planets. Others chose to lie in the background, being worshiped but unseen. Being known but unknowable. Other siblings still merely guided their children in secret. Being completely unknown to their people and just subtly pulling strings.

These Seven Endless beings are
Destiny-The oldest of the Seven. His book, which is bound from the leather of a creature that never existed, is chained to him, or he is chained to it, and in his book is written everything. Past. Present. Future. He is considered the most professional of his siblings. His symbol is the book that forever accompanies him.

Death-The oldest sister. When the first living thing was born, she was there. And when the last living thing dies, she will put the chairs on the table. Turn off the lights. And close the door behind her. She always wears an Ankh around her neck to represent the afterlife, and this is her symbol.

Dream-A middle child. It is said life begins when he gives planets dreams of bearing it. All thoughts begin as dreams. All gods are born from him, and once they've grown old, they will return to Dream once more. His symbol is the dream helm, made from the spine and skull of a long-dead god.

Destruction-Nothing can be created until something is destroyed. Destruction turns the stars into dust so that all other things can be born. He is the water eating away at the land and the collision of planets. He is interested in the creative arts, but has little talent for them. His symbol is, quite simply, a sword.

Desire-Desire is beautiful, slim and truly androgynous. He/She can appear as a man, a woman, or even neither. Desire is known for its mean streak and long standing rivalry with Dream. Merely seeing the true essence of Desire can destroy you. Desire's symbol is a heart shape.

Despair-The younger twin of Desire, Despair is everything Desire is not. So long as there are things to desire, there will always be the realization that not all those desires can be met. Despair is not considered beautiful like her sister. She is represented by the hook ring she wears.

Delirium-the youngest and strangest of the seven. Once known as delight, Delight experienced something that caused the change into Delirium. If you think you've ever experienced any delight, it is merely a minor form of delirium. Her....or possibly his appearance changes more than any other of the Endless. The only constant with Delirium is the color of Her/His eyes. One eye is always green with flecks of silver, the other being blue. Even this detail however has a habit of swapping which eye is which color. Delirium's symbol is that of an abstract, shapeless blob of colors.

The dream that Dream gave voice to, and the destiny that is written in Destiny's book was for each of the Seven Endless Siblings to raise their own planet, and for each planet to one day do battle with each other. One planet would remain as the dominant ruler of this particular universe. The only question, one not even Destiny could read, was which of the Endless would lead their new children to victory. Would Destruction raise an army of unstoppable warriors? Or would Dream create a race so intelligent they could turn their dreams into technology? Perhaps Death will grant necromancy to her children. Or perhaps they will simply use their time as rulers to enjoy it and when the end comes, they will allow their planet to be defeated, and watch the remainder of the war, or...just turn away and return to work properly.

So anyone who's familiar with DC will recognize the Endless, so if you so choose to just take their exact appearance from the comics, go ahead, or you can be creative and change them as you wish.... You know, within reason.
I will take on the role of Death who i will just maintain the appearance of, so here ya go
http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Death_(New_Earth)

You may take anyone else you wish. So how will this work? Well it'll.....i'm sorry, it's gonna be confusing a bit. I'll try to make it clear what's happening, but with how meaningless time is to the Endless, centuries can pass casually. It will begin basically with the Endless having been on their respective planets long enough for societies to develop. How advanced the planet is depends on which sibling is in charge. The siblings can travel to each other's planets, however they're only allowed to travel freely across the planet if the ruling Endless allows it. By default the other Endless can only travel to the sort of "home" of their sibling. The exception of course, is Death. Due to her role in existence, she is always capable of freely going anywhere where life is born and where it dies. She however is bound to not tell anyone about what she learns, and no matter how much she wishes, cannot abuse any information she learns by this, as is the case with all the siblings. Spying however is possible, but only through the mortals they govern.

So. Get creative. Craft your civilization. Prepare for war. Or, simply make yourself god and fuck mortal alien bitches. At least until one of your Endless Siblings comes around and takes your stuff. Or maybe, a bit of everything.
