Sara had graduated from Stanford's school of journalism with a perfect 4.0 and Sara was ready to concur the world and win her first Pulitzer prize. If you had asked anyone from Sara home town they would have told you Sara would and could accomplish anything.
Sara had grown up in a liberal family that supported the idea women could do anything. Combined with that Sara was stunning. She had been home coming queen and even done some modeling in school to earn extra money. Sara had even been a good athlete in college where she had lettered in both swimming and volleyball. It was simply a forgone conclusion that journalism and life would be as easy as school had been.
Unfortunately after a few weeks of working for a liberal feminist magazine she wasn't so sure. Sara couldn't get anyone to take her serious. She was sure it was a combination of her youth and looks that were the problem but regardless her assignments continued puff pieces about fashion, the favorite drink of young professionals and what young women did on vacation. Sara was a more than a little frustrated she needed to find a story, she needed to do something to turn her career around. That being said Sara also needed a break. Sara decided to take a couple weeks of from work and drive down to her parents beach house and see if she could come up with an idea.
Sara packed up her car and decided she would take the long way down to the beach by driving through the country side, explore the farm land and clear her head. Sara had been driving several hours through bucolic country side with no cell phone service and to be honest she was a bit lost when her car made a strange noise. She was far off the interstate when she stated to look for a small town or someone that could help her.
Jack had grown up on a barn in the deep south. His family was very conservative, and his father and mother where farmers. All day long his father, and his brothers would work on the farm. His mother stayed at home and cleaned the house and made dinner. His only sister was taught the same thing, a woman was for breeding, taking care of the house, looking after the children and making food for the men. Though in this day and age it was hard to find a woman who understood such old fashion terms.
Jack had a highschool degree and also an associates degree he got online. His degree was in agriculture and farming. Though his other brothers decided to go off and do their own things. Now Jack was the only one left on the farm. Just 5 months ago his father passed away leaving the farm and all his money to his eldest son Jack. What Jack didn't know is that his father had been saving a lot of money. Way more than he thought, millions in bonds and savings. Though his father told him that he needed to find a good wife if he was to be a man.
Jack had gone through a couple girlfriends, though they all left him saying he was abusive and demanding. 5 months ago Jack's father died leaving the farm and all his money to him. The last girl he had over about a month ago, Jack had drugged and rapped. The girl was to ashamed to report it, especially in such a small town. The girl didn't want others to think she was a whore. So she just decided to keep her mouth shut. Jack was now on the hunt for a new woman, this time he would find one and keep her. Keep her locked up tight so she couldn't run away.
Though just as he was having that thought he saw a car in the distance, just outside his fields breaking down, smoke coming out of the engine. He didn't know if it was a man or a woman, but hell it was worth a look right?
