Jason was just an ordinary college sophomore, sporting light brown hair and green eyes, he could easily just sort of blend into the crowd. However, there was one thing a bit curious about Jason though, and that was his obsession with furries, the nickname for anthropomorphic animals. He was obsessed with everything about them, their culture, their fascinating origins. Essentially, millions of years of isolation turned them on a different evolutionary path and turned them into furries rather than modern humans. He was obsessed with their culture, and although he would die rather than admitting it, he had a decent amount of anthro based porn in his browser history too.

It was his obsession that practically caused him to sprint across his campus to where they were taking applicants to spend a semester abroad at what was until that point a furry only campus. He was chosen, and now he's on a plane to the isolated island nation of Xanastia, home of furries of all kinds. He got off the plane and after going through the tedious process of gathering his luggage, he looked around. He was in awe, anthros of all different species were talking, walking, chatting on their phone, groaning that their flights were going to be delayed. He couldn't believe he was finally here. However, he forced himself out of his stupor, knowing that he couldn't spend his entire time here. He glanced at the picture of who was supposed to meet him here. A rather buxom equine who was described to him as "The Class President of Foreign Student Affairs." A lengthy title, but as he looked around, he could see no one that looked like the picture. He was absolutely positive he told them the right time and the right gate he would be arriving in. He felt panic well up in his chest, what if they had forgotten he was coming? He'd be stuck in an airport in a foreign country with human animal hybrids!

A white van ran on the road, the sun seemed to highlight the squared vehicle, underlining its apparent lack of decorative shapes in stead of a pure, practical sight, having as only colourful detail a burgundy and highly stylish writing on its sides Xanastia Superior Campus. "...it all changed so quickly..." thought the Class President as the advertisement panels that coasted the road to the airport repeated again and again in a seemingly endless line of grotesque titles and products, many of them of foreign origin, making her feel like the nation itself was readying herself to understand and acknowledge those humans from outside.

In few more minutes the van stopped in front of the Arrival Terminus, its doors slid laterally with a barely audible roll of gears, allowing the Class President to hop out, taking a deep breath of the outside air, letting the fresh morning air to feel her lungs, until the bitter aftertaste of petroleum pinched her nostrils, coughing a little. A light hazelnut-furred hand passed trough her long, waved mane, sending her golden hair tidily past her shoulders "...first impressions are all..." reminded herself once again, adjusting the green bowtie and the delicate cream jacket, straightening the hem of the green tartan skirt and the perfect state of the black socks that covered the muscled equine legs from her hooves to the knees. And then, with a quick nod to the school driver, entered into the airport; alone. Everyone had this studend in very positive light, described by many as a very adult and trustworthy mare, and nobody objected when she was chosen to be the one doing home-honours for that new foreigner that would be the new Superior Campus student.

Once inside, the unnatural light of white lights gave the airport a futuristic, unpersonal vibe, with people running everywhere, citizens of every specie, some in business suits, other clearly just returning from a sunny vacation... but in that turmoil of bodies and tails swirling around, there was a calmer, emptier space, the first thought that passed in her mind was that probably someone spilled some soda and the clean-guy was at work, but then, with a blink of her big blue eyes, she saw him, <<...the foreigner...>> whispered her in a gulp.

<<Welcome to Xanastia>> said her with elegant voice <<I am Miranda Amiata, the Campus Council appointed me to be your guide on our way to the campus.>> her eyes looked at him, trying to understand his behaviours <<...ah... nice to meet you, Mr..?>>

Jason was craning his neck, looking for the mare who was supposed to bring him and guide him around the new campus. However, he soon saw a white van pull up with the university's logo on the sides, and an elegant looking, curvaceous mare stepped out of the van and gave him a very elegant greeting. Everything about her was classy, her looks, her demeanor, the was she spoke. Jason could get used to having her around. He gave a nervous chuckle, his cheeks turning pink as she spoke. "Oh um, my name's Jason, Jason Helmsworth. Nice to meet you Miranda." He says, sticking out his hand. He expected someone as professional acting as this to end things with a handshake.
