The life of Alexander Mariotti (Mother's maiden name) had been one of happiness for quite some time. As a child, he had no idea that his mother Lotradiam was the mistress of his father Alexander (Big Alex) Bower. Apparently, his father was still married to another woman and had a couple of older kids with her.

Alexander was told that his father had died at a young age which caused a lot of problems in his life. As a young teen, he had been sent to many a shrink and therapist to help him with his abandonment issues. Which had taken years to fix but now he was better...But wouldn't be for much longer.

After turning eighteen and getting a job Alexander began looking to see if he could find any of his father's family by hiring a private investigator (with some monetary help from his mother.) It took a couple of years but they finally found his grandmother from his father's side, It took Alexander a year or two before he did anything with the information but finally went to find her the two had talked multiple times over the next few years but over the last year, he had gotten close to his paternal grandmother who informed him that his father was not, in fact, dead but living with his wife who he'd been married to since before Alexander was born. She also gave him the address to his father's home.

Gaining this information Alexander was super pissed to find out that his dad was not dead but had just walked away from him.

Currently, the six foot six two hundred and eight pound former High School Football with stunning baby blue eyes and blonde hair pulled up to the house his grandmother had told him about. Taking a deep breath he got out of the car and made his way up to the door knocking on it slightly wondering who exactly would answer the door.

Alexander Bower was a successful businessman and with that success came a certain amount of luxuries. For many years one of those luxuries was a mistress. He had almost complete control over her for most of their time together, even convincing her to abort any child she conceived. That was until she finally refused to abort and Alexander left her, not wanting to deal with the consequences of a love child.

Alexander hadn’t known if Lotradiam had kept the baby or put it up for adoption or even if she’d birthed him a son or daughter until a few years earlier. His mother informed him that a boy claiming to be his son had contacted her. Alexander had told his mother to give the boy his address and had timed it perfectly so that his wife and children would all be out of town when Little Alexander showed up.

Alexander heard a knock at the door and looked out the window of his office seeing it was a young man. He went to his gun safe and took out his revolver putting it in his waistband behind his back in case things got ugly. He then went downstairs to answer the door.

“Hello?” He asked once the door was opened slightly.

Alexander stood with his hands in his jean pockets, currently, he was wearing his high school football Jersey where he was the star player he had been scouted for College but he had turned them down to find his fathers family at that time not knowing that his father was in fact still alive. His shoes were old Chuck Taylors. From the stories, his mother had told him Alexander Bower had been a pretty amazing football player back in the day as well at least from the stories Big Alex had told her and then told to his son.

As the door opened Alex's baby eyes looked up at the man standing in front of him. Anger, happiness, and sadness filled him at once leaving him almost confused on what to do. "Hello sir," he said respectfully as he stood up straight. "I was told that Alexander Bower lives here and I was hoping to get into contact with him" he said softly from the old pictures his mother had kept he was almost sure that this man standing in front of him was his father but wanted to make sure before really deciding what he wanted done. "I am his son Alexander Mariotti son of Lotradiam Mariotti's son" he was almost stumbling over his words. Having been basically raised on the streets since his mother had, had to work three jobs just to keep them afloat he had learned a few things and one of them was how to notice a gun in a waistband.

"I was hoping that if you truly are Alexander Bower that I could sit down and have a talk to you man to man, get some answers to the questions that I've had my entire life about you."

Alexander looked at his son, head to toe, before answering his question. “I’m Alexander Bower but I’ve never known a Lotradiam Mariotti.” He said, not showing any emotion. “I suggest you go ask your mother why she thinks I’m your father because I’m not. I have five children and all five of them came from my wife. Now get off my property or else I’m calling the cops.”

Inside Alexander was pissed, he had given Lotradiam, or Lottie as he had nicknamed her, a large chunk of money to keep her quiet and to have her keep their bastard away from him and his family. Yet now he was staring his son in the face hoping he wouldn’t have to use the revolver he was carrying. Regardless Alexander wouldn’t be lying about know her if he believed that was truth.

"I would be more than happy to go and talk to my mother if she hadn't died of cancer two months ago," Alexander said looking at his father "She always spoke of my father never truly using his real name always just calling you Big Alex" she said honestly before staring directly into his eyes. "Always telling me that you were dead she told me a couple of years ago about you when she was diagnosed with cancer she said she wanted to right the wrongs because she loved you even until her dying breath" shaking his head Alex turned to walk away but stopped "Your mother my grandmother says otherwise she's claimed me as one of her own since the day we met" with that said he walked over to his car let his father call the cops on him he was going to keep coming until he got the answers he deserved in life.

With that everything out in the open he walked back to his jeep looking back at the man standing in the doorway of the home he started up the jeep and drove off towards the home, his mother had bought with the dirty money Big Alex had paid her. Being her only child Alexander received the home when she passed away.

The drive took about fifteen minutes but he was finally home, pulling into the garage of his home he went through the normal routine. Go inside, cook some food, eat, shower and then off to bed. Sleeping eight hours he woke up and began doing work around the house. When all the work was finished he got back inside of his jeep and decided he'd allow his father time to think before talking to him again. So instead of going to Alex's home, he went to the mall so where he could shop around. Currently, he was dressed in a pair of black pants, his red and black Chuck Taylors and a sleeveless t-shirt that held against his muscular form tightly. Though as he walked inside of the mall he saw two tables in the food court with beautiful women around it. Realizing how long it'd been since he had focused on anything but finding his dad he went to sit at a table located between the table of women his own age and a group of younger women who looked to be about Junior of Senior of high school age. Walking over he stood at there table hearing a few of the girls giggling. Looking around he saw his half-sisters face and smiled as he spoke "Well hello beautiful and what might your name be" he asked curiously knowing it already, knowing who she was. But seeing her he now had found a way to get back at his dad. Alexander didn't want to consider Alex's his son which meant in that logic she wasn't his sister and man would it piss big Alex off.

Alexander closed his door, knowing that wouldn’t be the last he saw of his son but not exactly knowing when, where, or how the next meeting would be. When his wife and children came home, Alexander didn’t tell them anything. However he contacted his lawyer to file a restraining order against his hoping that would keep him away.

Lily was at the mall with three of her friends, shopping and just hanging out. They had gone to several stores and had many, many things from scented candles to clothes to books. Lily looked up at Alex before chuckling and rolling her eyes. “Just because I dress like this doesn’t mean I’m easy.” She returned her gaze to her friends, clearly assuming he just wanted to fuck her.

She was wearing dark blue skinny jeans with tears and rips in them, along with a black tank top and red plaid shirt. Her belt had spikes all over it and her boots were military. Her bright blue eyes were encased a thin black and thick eyelashes. The lipstick she was wearing was a dark red broken up by two silver hoops on her lower lip. Her dyed black hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail showing her ears were pierced multiple times.

"Whoever said that I thought you were easy," Alex asked with a smile "I'm just a man coming up to a beautiful woman in hopes of getting to know her" Alex was surprised to see that his half-sister had deduced his actions so easily this meant if he were to achieve his goal he needed to really lay it on thick. "I'm just a young man coming up to talk to a beautiful woman in hopes to get to know her better that is if you don't mind" he knew he'd have to gain her trust, how he'd have to be the perfect gentleman at least for a little while until he could gain her trust and seduce her.

Alicia Markos who was one of Lily's best friends smiled as she ran her hand through her hair pulling a strand of black hair tipped in pink from her face. She was another one of the Goth girls that always hung out with Lily. She had known Lily since kindergarten and they had been friends not long after "He's kind of hot and seems kind of interested in you" she whispered to Lily with a smile. "Maybe we should invite him to sit down with us. He does seem adamant in getting to know you. I mean he walked right past the table of cheerleaders and right over to you" this was something that Alicia never would've guessed this man was muscular and extremely handsome he had to be a jock of some sorts with the way his body was built. So for him to pass the cheerleaders and come straight to the table of Goth girls was a big even for someone like Alicia. "You can sit here with us if you want. By the way, I'm Alicia but people call me Leash" she said with a giggle "And this ray of sunshine is Lily like the flower."

"Lily" Alexander repeated to himself with a smile "What a beautiful name. Well, Alicia, I'd be honored to sit with you and Lily," he said pulling out a chair to sit down on. One seated he looked around the table "My name is Alexander but most people just call me Alex or Lex" he smiling at them all "And she most certainly is beautiful like a flower though a little rough around the edge I like it."

The third friend was very androgynous but upon closer inspection was probably a boy. He introduced himself as Carson Taylor.

Lily rolled her eyes again, saying, “You’re trying so hard that it’s laughable.” She could he was trying to win her over and she didn’t intend for it to be that easy for him. She couldn’t believe Alicia hadn’t seen how much of a fuck boy this dude was being, he seemed like he was almost as thirsty as those idiots on Tinder.

Her black painted nails strummed against a Starbucks cup in one hand and the other on the table. Inside the clear cup was a green mixture that was probably an iced Frappuccino of some kind, topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate shavings, and what was probably powdered chocolate. She was clearly waiting to leave and was unimpressed by Alex.

"You know contrary to popular belief not all guys just want to get inside a woman's pants. Some men actually like the chase more than the sex itself. Being raised by a single mother has taught me that women are not to be treated as property. Women are to be treated kindly, respected, admired and be all around treated like Queen's on a high pedestal. And even more so if I just wanted a quick fuck don't you think I would've walked over to that table over there with the cheerleaders. Everyone knows that cheerleaders are easy and loose but I don't want a quick fuck that's never been my style" Alexander said honestly as he placed tickets on the table "I also picked this table because I bought a couple of tickets for the upcoming Paramore concert and my friends canceled on me a few days ago and I need some people to go with me and you looked just like the right crowd to ask."

"Paramore... I love Paramore" Alicia said sweetly as she blushed slightly because of her outburst. "Lily. Please...Please...Please can we go" she whispered to her friend. Alicia's favorite band was Paramore and here was a handsome gentleman offering free tickets to a Paramore Concert.

Lily had to resist rolling her eyes at his little speech. She’d heard similar lines from other guys in the past and she took anything a strange man told with a grain of salt.

He did grab her attention when he mentioned the tickets to Paramore and while she was cautious at the idea, she was definitely interested. “Give me your number and I’ll text you if I decide to take you up on the offer.” She said sliding a napkin towards him. “I’m sure you can understand why I’d be suspicious of a stranger offering teenagers free tickets to anything, that’s how an episode of 48 Hours starts, and I’d rather not become a murder victim.”

If Alex had approached her by herself she definitely wouldn’t text him but she knew Alicia would keep on her about it.

Alexander smiled at Lily realizing early on that she was the ringleader of this entire group it was a trait that must've been genetically passed down because Alex himself had always been in the 'leader' role as well in everything he had ever done whether it was working or playing football. Hearing Lily say she'd give it some thought and text him her decision he looked at her realizing that this wasn't going to be an overnight thing he'd have to work on Lily get her to trust him which actually made the whole thing more fun. Alexander had always loved a challenge and he went at every challenge with one hundred percent focus this would be no different.

"Fine" Alex said with a smile as he took a pen from his pocket one with a Dragon Logo on it. He had taken the money that his mother had left for him and created a small business for himself and had been doing pretty good so far. Clicking the pen he wrote his number and first name on the napkin before sliding it back over to Lily "Think it over, text me what your decision is" he had left the pen on the napkin for her to keep. Looking at the watch on his wrist he spoke softly "I have to get some things and get back to work. I look forward to seeing your answer" he said standing up slowly "And also showing you that no all men are pigs" as he said this he walked away going through some of the stores he bought a few necessities before making his way back out to his car and towards the small building he used as the office. Alex had always been into art and so he had used the inheritance from his mother to create Dragons Tongue Gallery where he sold paintings from local artists as well as his own.

Sitting at his desk he began doing paperwork while also using his laptop to almost stalk Lily on facebook seeing that her likes and dislikes matched pretty well with his own though he couldn't find out whether or not she liked art. Though no matter whether she liked regular art or not she might enjoy his dark Gothic style paintings of horror and death.

Lily resisted the urge to roll her eyes again at what Alex said before watching him leave. “I have to head home, guys.” She said standing up, “I got an order I have to work on, so if you need a ride home speak now or forever shut the hell up.” To her dismay both needed a ride.

Lily was a craftsman of sorts, running an Etsy shop that sold all things goth from makeup to furniture and baby shower invitations to corsets. Majority of the things she had listed were made by her for her brand “Lilith’s Dark Bazaar” or LDB for short.

“So what is it this time?” Carson asked.

“A local-ish person asked if I could take a Victorian style China cabinet and turn it into a functional snake terrarium. I’ve already got it put together, I just have to finish the small details.” Lily explained leading the two friends to her car. “Basically just make sure it the right shade of black, the hinges don’t squeak when opened or closed, and that the trimming is perfect.”

Alicia smiled as she heard Lily talking about how if they wanted a ride home they needed to speak up. "Well I definitely need a ride" she said honestly "Mom's having a conniption fit over everything but mostly because i'm quote" she said doing the air quotes sign with her fingers "Covering my pretty face with my dark makeup." Though as Carson and Lily began speaking she had a brilliant idea. "So have you ever heard of the Gothic Painter Azarath Lucenta (Alexanders art Alias) The man is a legend he created his own form of Gothic Art owns a studio downtown called... Oh shit what's it called" she asked trying to remember even though she was brilliant Alicia was also very forgetful "Dragon Tongue Gallery you should see if you could get him to paint you a piece on this project you're doing I mean could you imagine how much more you'd be able to sell the project for if you had an AL original on it?"

As Alicia said this she pulled out her phone which had a custom case on it which was black with dragons on it as she opened the phone she began googling Azarath Lucenta's paintings before showing them to Lily who she knew loved all things Gothic since she owned her own etsy company doing just that. "In just under a year he's become one of the hottest selling artist out there but... No one knows who he truly is."
