Random IM's

This is a small complaint and asking for advice but every time I post, bump, or anything else I get random requests or ads in my PM box. It's obvious the person(s) is spamming everyone on the posting list with what should be a request thread.

They clearly are not responding to my RP request, let alone reading it.

How can I tell? They are asking for Smutty rp, a long post of pairings they want, and tons of information on what sort of smut/porn/sexting one time hookups they enjoy...ALL of it on my No no list.

So is there a way I can keep the shotgun style of a private request in IM's or is it something I should suck up and just try to ignore?

You'll get a lot of unwanted PM's with little regard to your actual interests or your request thread. I don't think there's any better way to deal with it sadly.

Unfortunately cold calls like that happen frequently to everyone the only thing to do is either politely tell them no in a PM or disregard it altogether. You can block if you feel the need as well, outside of that its not really against the rules or anything so its the only options available as Raina noted. Sorry >_<
