1939, three months before the Invasion of Poland

It was a dark night in your office in Berlin, you were suddenly there and it was suddenly quiet and calm and the only light on was the small lamp on the corner of the dark walnut desk you were sitting behind. The office was well furnished and large and the sounds of an active Berlin could be heard form outside your window. You were in 1930's Germany. Down on your desk laid several large blueprints. What you had brought back, it was all there.

Seraph sighed as she sat on her desk looking over the plans they had manage to finalize after the last two or three months of the war that she could remember, but now the hard part would be exactly how she could build more factories or turn some of the existing ones into building for the new projects. " either of these poses us still for a smaller production efficiency for the next few months as she decided to focus on one first then both if that was even possible as she folded the plans for a new tank program and slipped it into her coat pocket as she decided on a new soldier project instead.

After reviewing it a bit for another 20 minutes she picked up the phone and started to call the front desk of the building. " I'm leaving for the night, have my pick up ready in a bit..." soon hanging up as she packed up everything and started to walk out of the building of course passing by some people.

"Leaving for the night ma'am." Your secretary said as you passed his desk, a little surprised. "Shall I call a car for you." He didn't expect you to come out so suddenly. Usually he had some warning and some time to call your car around. Tonight he didn't quite have that.

“ I called the front so they should have it already then...have a nice night then...” stopping for a moment to talk before walking again as she left them still trying think think for a moment about how things would start changing now that she had a plan to develop some new things, though maybe it would have been better then to ask for a little help from her other friends of course. Finally walking outside and waiting already to see if they got her call from earlier for the ride.

You had to wait in the cold for a few minutes, though the car did come around and the driver apologized for the wait. "Where am I taking you too Sir?"

“ I’ll just be going home then....” giving a sigh as she fixed her hat just relaxing in the quiet darkness of the car as she had nothing to really say or talk about until at least tomorrow where she would of course be busy like always with everything but especially now with having to be the only person to manage everything about her military power of course.

"Yes Ma'am." The driver shifted into gear and pulled away and into traffic. he drove you a few blocks away to your Berlin residence. He got out of the car and opened your door for you. "Shall I pick you up at your normal time tomorrow madam?"

“ yes of course, but lease don’t be late at night....I really hate coming late like that...” replying with a sigh as she finally got out when they arrived, “ have a good night and I’ll see you tommorrow...” walking in and spending the rest of the night by herself until morning came.

"Apologies Ma'am. The front desk did not know who to call and they took some time to contact me." He closed the door behind you and drove off. The next morning a knock came on your door, and a young woman, in a military uniform, came in with a tray for your breakfast. "Is there anything else you need my furher?"

Soon she woke up a bit late seeing it was half an hour till noon which would have been time to get ready but she would be a bit late with today’s board meeting she had planned since last week to discuss mostly about their current state of resources out into the military for now. It wouldn’t be long till a fight would have to come her way and knowing what they had would help her to expand as well as put some time into research as well. Sitting up with a stretch and a yawned the young lady looked over at the other. “ mmm wonder what today’s news is... did they bring the paper by yet?” Asking as she waited for a moment for the rest to get to her and then actually eat. “ I’ll be fine for now but if you can go ahead and please call in the driver for drop off at a meeting in half an hour? That’s fine for now...” finally letting the women leave before calling out, “ thanks a lot..”

"No, ma'am, I will get one for you." Once you released her she went and then came back with your paper. Then she left you to prepare for your day. When you came down stares later the car was waiting for you, as you had requested. The driver had already stepped out and was holding the door for you. "To the Richstag mine furher?" he asked, then he closed your door and returned to the drivers seat. He put the car in gear and then drove you to the military and in many ways the government head quarters of the the Nazi empire, where some of your military and civilian commanders were waiting.

Soon she sits inside looking over both of the possible projects before deciding to then present both of them and get some bits of opinions on either one. She sighed knowing that there was a feeling she was going to get angry somehow sometime in the day but hopefully it wouldn’t really happen if things went pretty well mostly. Soon she walked out putting her hat on with a stretch as she started to walk inside.

The men around the table stood up when you came in. They waited for you to take your seat and then they all sat down. It was boring matters of government mostly. Things that took far too long to cover and were far to boring and beauricratic to remember.

Soon she sat down with a sigh, " well I'm glad that you have all come by today of course as I have called all of you here myself....its nothing super super special yet until we can build a few for first deployment...but yes I want some opinions on a new project I've mostly come up with..." pulling a blueprint and setting it on the table as she slowly unfolded it. " I want your opinion on that then and when we can see the earliest to build , how much, and time..."

The collection of old men gazed at it cureiously at first until one cracked a smile. "Is this a suit of armor mine furher? Isn't that rather old fashioned." The others didn't comment or make eye contact and bussied themselves with examining the vehical plans as best they could.

As she heard him the girl rolled her eyes, “ it’s like saying are helmets and military vests old fashioned...you haven’t even given anything but a glance...” crossing her arms with a somewhat pissed expression though it wasn’t full angry. “ I said I wanted an opinion on both of them not a stupid question...” putting her hands on the table as she leaned in a bit waiting for their answer after looking over it. “ now tell me, what would you think is better and why then?”

"Well, as an honest opinion." he said, much more formally. "I don't see much point in a suit of armor. Modern weapons render such things useless since they would have to be impractically heavy to stop bullets and shrapnel, and they would be terrible hot I imagine, and a waist of steel that could be better spent on ships and tanks." The others, for the moment, were staying out of it, seeing where this conversation would go before they weighed in and continued to go over the plans.

" well not just any old heavy armor i was wanting to develop plasma shielding on the gauntlet" pointing at one part of the plan. " It should be even better mostly than a tank since it is one manned and thats why I intend to recruit only the strongest and hardest of men to wear the armor. Yes it seems impractical just by looking at it...the best thing to do is build a prototype then with these plans....' seeing as she would have the project running even if it was just one suit to test. " then what about the tank then? besides being what it is, a tank..." stating the obvious, " how much do you see us building it, if we have a successful prototype in the future?" crossing her arms and waiting for an answer.

When you said words like "Plasma shielding" they looked at you like you were spouting nonsense. the suggestion that a suit of clunky and hot steel armor could be better than a tank also left them with some odd looks on their face. When you mentioned the tank they were all too eager to shift their attention and voiced general approval of the idea. "Of course, the engineers will probably no better than us. But if it is fast and tough then I do not see why not." Said a minister. He was obviously not a military man and was just picking his words so as to maximize his chance of saying the right thing.

" no wonder there are at least some idiots I'm forced to work with...." giving a sigh as she mostlysaid that to herself as she shook her head. Soon she looked over at the minister, " at least someone sees the maybe better possibility like I do..." soon she turned back to the generals, " have any of you got the shipment supports from the recent supply lines? If not then I want a damn report soon. I want to start to upgrade everything we have before this really gets started, better panzers and everything else. I want to try to spread research evenly as we can at least so get the engineers busy on that, though have some factories on standby to build the prototypes from these plans. I expect that if you and them are competent enough you can hit it off by the end of the month or at least this and a week into the next then at max...now...of course I will also want to know our current production line for this month as well for what we'll expect then..." waiting for either a reply or at least a nod that they understood they would get to it fast then.

the Industrial minister cleared his throat, adjusted his glasses, and then sorted through some papers. "Tank production for the last three quarters across all models has totaled 280. Aircraft production for fighters has totaled 490, bombers 570, seaplane 72, transport 100, all other 200 Totaling 1432. Production is projected to being dramatic increases once hostilities have begun, assuming steady supplies of materials and that the labor force can be kept up in the face of military demands." They all waited to see how she would respond to such figures, and weather she thought they were good or bad, as apparently they had already set her off. "Of course, we would have to analyze these new tank plans, assess material costs and requirements and how much factorizes would need to be retooled, but we could begin production by the second quarter of next year possibly."

She soon started to chuckle a bit, " probably not even close but I feel like we could have a larger force than the stupid British. Though I have been also wanting the engineers to start upgrading to have better jet engines of they don't already have anyway. A full conversion to jet bombers and fighters. And yes thats far too low i was hoping to hit at least 320 to 340 by the end of next month....but that's probably fine for now at least....the only thing I want right now is upgrade of the current tank line up we have and research on everything else. Now the last thing I need from you is the status report of all deployed forces on the field what's the next prime target I wonder....maybe the Czech or even nearby Poland?"

All those at the table looked at her uncertainty. And took a moment to consider before one general spoke up. Besides those forces we sent in to replace French and British troops in the Sudatinland we do not have any forces currently in the field, accept on exercises."

" well then I'll take everything we have, next stop Poland...." as she declared with her hands on her hips. " if they aren't doing anything then I will put that training to use...I want reports of their military force by tomorrow since I'm hoping that one of you who are competent enough can get a spy plane into the sky tonight at the least. I don't underestimate any enemies I attack...." giving her reason as she turned around and slowly walked out, " I don't want to hold you when I don't need to, I got what I wanted so this meeting is over for now so assemble the forces then." As she stepped out.

(Sorry for the wait. I was busy and couldn't find the time to reply to anyone.)
They shouted after her as she left. The moment the door closed behind her the door was flung open again as one of her generals followed after her. "Mine furher. this is a rather sudden decision. We had planned to invade Poland in three months. Why the sudden change of plans?"
