So after having my laptop stolen I'm finally back, to the partners I was with at the time, if you are reading this, sorry! I've had a really turbulent life at the moment and without my own personal computer I just won't log into these kind of websites, I keep this stuff fairly seperate from my real life. If you want to get back in touch feel free to, those roleplay slots are still open for courtesy's sake but right now im just here to try and get the ball rolling on this idea again.
I never really got this idea
The idea is one I've had for a while. I was always a bit dissatisfied with David, as a psychopath during the winter sequence. Sure, he was impactful, and a gripping character, but he seemed to make alot of bad decisions, starting with actually giving Ellie the medicine to cure Joel. That is the point I'd like to enter the story. What if David, and his men wern't total fucking idiots and had returned with reinforcements instead of the medicine they had promised? What if they had taken Ellie right there on the spot, and she had never managed to get the life saving antibiotics to Joel? What would have happened next?
David and his men were allready depraved lunatics in the tamed down for public audiences Canon version, which gives us a great starting point to take the story somewhere deliciously twisted. I'm looking for a female (Yes IRL sorry if that offends) to play Ellie, with me playing David and some of his men.
Another idea I've been rolling around that I've unashamedly ripped off the first RPer i discussed this idea with (Who dissapeared before we could get started);
Runner, Stalker, Clicker, Breeder - Humanity came to an end, in what must have seemed a senseless waste to all good, god-fearing people. The remnants of civilization went through the motions of what had come before, but the truth was, their time was at an end. Look no further than the birth of the newest strain of infected .. though she had no idea that she wasn't the cure, but the disease. A fungal infection crept around her nerves, her veins, her organs while she seemed perfectly healthy from the outside .. and it wasn't until a man was strongarmed into escorting Ellie out beyond the safety of civilization and into the land of the infected that she would learn what she really was.
Breeding through spores and mold might be efficient, but it sure isn't as fun as the alternative. - Credit to Cheat Code
