Name: Emiri Rosender
Age: 17
Appearance: She's short at just 5'2'', and petite. Emiri has pale skin, long black hair, and emerald grin eyes. She wears glasses. She looks smaller than she is, because she wears overly large sweaters. That combined with her uniform skirt lends for a slightly immature appearance, which gets her picked on a lot.
Personality: Emi is quiet, and shy. She really is kind hearted, and her intentions are always good, but her clumbsiness and lack of common sense often cause her attempts to help others to fail miserably.

Laughter. All around her, laughter. How embarrassing. Even the teacher was stifling laughter at Emi’s clumsiness. This was the norm for the short senior girl. Her awkwardness, and inability to be graceful seemed to draw endless giggles and ridicule from her classmates. But she was never one to retaliate. She was just quiet, and kept her calm.

Looking around, the class showed no signs of stopping their laughter anytime soon. She bit her lip and pulled herself up. This time, it hadn’t actually been her clumsiness, but instead, the cruelty of one of her peers. One of the girls in the middle row had tripped Emi as she walked up to the board to solve a problem she was called on to answer. She looked around and dusted herself off, then headed back to her seat.

She quickly grabbed her bag, and a moment later, the bell rung, signifying the end of the school day. Emi quickly and carefully walked herself outside. Her mother would pick her up, but she would have to wait an hour and a half for her to get there. And so, Emi parked it under a tree, and sat, reflecting on the day she had gone through.

Name: Lan Moore
Age: Can't remember, looks 18
Appearance: He's pretty tall, around six feet tall, his hair is a very dark blue looking black when not in the light with a few streaks of silver in certain areas. His eyes are a strange amber, he often hides the black wings on his back, especially around humans. He has some strange piercings, marks to show his skill and level of nobility.
Personality: Lan is some what power hungry, wanting to make his blood line proud. He is impatient and very harsh certain time. Though he is mostly trying to hide his inner feelings and the way he really feels.

Lan was watching from the tree, hidden in the leaves, that girl, that clumsy silly girl, why had he been cursed with her? She was so short, so weak, she wouldn't be able to help him at all. He had looked for her since she was born, now he wish he had never found her. How could she help him, how could they win against any one or any thing? This girl was a joke, she even tripped over her own feet.

Once she started to move Lan jumped down from the tree, making his way close to her, staying near her once she had stopped. He had no idea how to approach her, in reality he didn't want to, he wanted to leave right now and head home, but he knew that would only bring shame. He stared at the girl, giving of an almost stalker feel, not being very good with humans. Finally he punched his hand against a fence, trying to think of something.

Emi looked around as she sat. She could have sworn someone was near by. She had a strange feeling, like something she was familiar with was in the area. It hadn’t been the first time in her life something had felt off, but it wasn’t quite like this. She looked around, but, seeing no one, decided to go back to her thoughts. She was alone, as usual.

Soon, someone approached. She could feel the presence get closed. She looked around and spotted a male by a fence. He seemed strange. Something about him gave off a weird vibes. Not to mention, he was staring. She bit her lip, and averted her eyes, down. She wasn’t good with other people. No confidence. She wondered who he was though. And why he seemed so familiar even though she’d never met him. Then she heard him punch the fence.

Emi stood, and quietly shuffled over, mindful of her ever-clumsy feet. “Errr, sir, is there something wrong?” She asked, softly, not looking him even in the face. Instead, her eyes were to the ground. “I-is there anyway I can help you?”

Lan looked at her, she was staring down, he usually wouldn't mind that so much but he could tell it wasn't from respect, she was just being shy. He sighed a bit, " I'm just trying to find some one, and I think I might have found that some one, but I'm not sure how to approach them, or if I really want to." He didn't seem to be talking to her, seeming to be talking to him self.

It took him a few second before he looked at her again, "We are meant to be together, we are meant to be as one and to do amazing thing together." He finally said to her, his hands went over hers, "I will protect you from all harm if you promise me you will be one with me." He spoke softly to her, she seemed like she would not be one to really help him unless he kept detail vague.

“Oh...” Emi said quietly. “Well, I uhm... I know most of the people in the area, so uhm... I can help you if you tell me the name of the person...” She said. She shuffled her foot along in the grass. In truth, she did know almost everyone in town. Just wasn’t friends with everyone in town. “Not sure if you want to?” She asked, thinking on his words. “Unrequited love?” She asked. That was the only thing that made sense

Then he started talking again. Her head snapped up to look at his face, and her emerald eyes were wide with surprise. She got a little flustered as he placed his hand over hers. “I... Errr, that’s uhmm... That’s nice...” She stuttered. “B-but... I’ve never even met you. And you haven’t met me... How can we be meant to be together if we’ve never met?” She asked, looking shocked, confused, and surprised that all of this was being said to her.

He looked at her, 'I've been looking for you, because we were meant to be together, I've known this since the day you were born. I was meant to be with you as you were meant to be with me." He softly placed a kiss on her fore head, "Please agree to be my other half, together we can do amazing things. Together we will over come all odd." His arms wee around her, holding her close to him.

Lan knew he would have to explain it to her, he knew he'd have to find a way, "Would you like to see my home?" He asked, wondering if she would under stand better once she saw where he came from.

She felt her heart kick into overdrive as he spoke words that seemed to be out of some sort of romance movie. Her cheeks flushed when he kissed her forehead, and her mind became errant and confused. Who was he? How could he have been searching for her since she had been born? He looked no older than her. She realized his arms were around her, and she bit her lip. His other half? She wasn’t sure why her. He was handsome, and attractive and she was just... She was Emi. Clumsy, and lacking cute. But she nodded in agreement still. She would be his other half. “Okay...” She said softly, looking up at him.

When he asked if she wanted to see his home, she nodded. “I would like that.” She said, figuring it was someone nearby. The thought that he was from a different world was something that hadn’t occurred to her.

Lan smiled at her, she had agreed, now he would be able to do to the other side with her. He would have to use all his strength, it seemed she would not be much help, but he'd be able to protect her, be able to make up for her weakness, he hoped. His face came close to hers, almost as if he was about to kiss her, "Very well together we will be as one, we will feel things that few ever experience." He close his eyes as he began to take her to his word, he would show her his home before they headed out on their journey.

Emiri was sort of entranced by that smile. What had she gotten herself into by agreeing to his request? She didn’t know, but it seemed there wasn’t time for second guessing, so she took a breath and readied herself for what came next. Her eyes went wide again when he leaned in. She thought he was going to kiss her. But instead he spoke. She mentally berated herself for over thinking things. “I... I trust you...” She said. She would have to. She had a feeling she was going to have to trust him. She closed her eyes as she felt them start to move in a strange sort of way. Was this magic? His home... It wasn’t on Earth? She couldn’t help but wonder if this was a dream.

Once they got there, they were in front of a white mansions in the middle of the night. The stars look huge and bright, there seeming to be two moons in the sky, one like the one on earth only bright but smaller, the other a strange blue moon that looked close. open a closer took, it seemed like his home wasn't even on the ground, it seemed to be up in the sky, looking down over the city where the fence began. There were lamps floating in the air illuminating the place. His hand took hers as he smiled, 'Let's go in."

Emi looked around her, taking in all the sights, in total disbelief. It was beautiful. Totally beautiful. But there were two moons. How was that possible. One seemed close enough to touch, and soon she realized the house didn’t seem to be on ground. It was a crazy place, and she could barely believe this was happening. She jumped a little when he took her hand and spoke. Then she pulled her attentions together and nod. “Alright.” She said. “Lead the way.” She added. Emi wondered what sights she would see inside the house. If it was even half as fantastic as the outside, she was in for a treat.

Lan took her into the house, it seemed rather large and was mostly normal inside. There were some strange sculptures and things floating off the ground, but probably nothing that seemed very mind blowing, at least in his mind. He lead her up the stairs towards his room, "We have to get you ready, I hope you don't mind the rush, I have been waiting for very long." His room seemed almost like it could hold dozens of people, books all over the walls, a large bed, and many artifacts. He lead her towards what seemed like a closet, once he opened the door, inside seemed to be an unlimited supply of clothing, "Please choose some clothing, we will be gone for a long while." The clothing seemed to be moving from invisible hangers, clothing would appear if she thought of it.

Emi thought for a moment, and soon, an outfit similar to what she was wearing now, except with capris, rather than a skirt, appeared. Go figure, she had the choice of any clothing she could think of, and that was what she chose. Nothing skimpy, or short, or tight fitted. She looked back at him. “Uhmmm, does this work?” She asked softly. She hoped so. But if not, she would ask his advice on things. She wasn’t above asking for advice or help on things of that nature.

Lan moved close to her and put his hand on her cheek, almost seeming to be about to kiss her, "Yes that's fine, but make sure to bring other things incase you need them, any thing could happen where we are going."
