The Emperor has decreed that in light of recent events, multiple sites must be acquired in areas that can be made secure. While initial assessments have been made, specific sites have been selected to be inspected and evaluated for possible R&D units establishment.
You, Sir, have been selected to inspect and evaluate, as well as stabilize Kilgya's Shard for R&D use. As such, you will be installing and leading a garrison there under the auspices of Imperial control. Under no circumstances will R&D be discussed with anyone. Kilgya's Shard is a nearly century-old space station orbiting the uninhabited desert and rocky world of Kilgya. It was once used to storage and transport metal ores mined from Kilgya, but it was soon found to be cost-prohibitive to process said ore. The station remained active though, and is used by a handful of shipping lines as a minor logistical center. Pilots use the station for fuel and refreshment.
There should be no issue in establishing foothold. Population estimate is set at fifty, one-hundred at most, if the docking berths are full.
