[Subspace Emissary]

With the new OVA for Yu Yu Hakusho coming out, I thought this would be a great time to do an RP for one of my favorite shonen. It would either take place well after the events of the original or in a parallel universe where those events never took place. We can decide which sounds better to you guys. I don't mind either one.

We may or may not make use of stats and dice rolling for battle, depending on what the preference is of the group. In that sense, I will act somewhat as a DM to guide the story along, but it won't be quite as intricate as a tabletop game.

I'd like to get a group of at least four other people to do this with, but if this winds up really popular, more can be taken in. Once we've got enough people and it's decided if we want to do stats/dice or not, I'll make a character creation template for everyone to make their characters. Due to the nature of the RP, we're likely only going to allow for 1-2 main characters (though as many side characters as you'd like) per player. Bear in mind that all main characters are to be original characters; not canon. Ideally, I'd like one character who will play the role of leader and spirit detective. I, myself, will not play this role and will instead leave it up to you guys to decide who that is. One thing I would like to do as a nod to the original is have each main character have a color associated with them, but this is not mandatory.
