Her dream, or rather an ambition, came true at last. Margaery Tyrell was officially the queen, wed to the one true king, who was nothing but a boy, leaving the entire kingdom in her hands. Or so she wished it was. Unfortunately, the lioness known as Cersei Lannister would not let everything go the way Margaery desired, and would constantly stick her nose where it did not belong. She had no doubts the Queen Mother was plotting something, and it was a matter of time before she hit. Some counsel from Olenna would have been helpful. The queen of thorns always seemed to be great in discovering what was to happen long before it was to happen, but unfortunately Margaery was not this good. Not yet, at least.
Her husband, Cersei's son, was the king and she attempted to get her sent away through him. But Tommen never had the will nor strength to make such important decisions, thus he was no use. Margaery knew, now that Cersei was alerted she would do her best to get rid of her, so she needed to act fast. Tommen adored her nor he could ever hurt anyone. Tywin and Joffrey were dead, so they could be as well forgotten. Myrcella was in Dorne, thus far from the reach of either of them. The only person she knew was still dear to Cersei was Jaime... And he was the one she'd need to try and get on her side.
It was a sunny day, one of the rare ones since the autumn had begun. Soon, those were to be gone for a long winter that was ahead of them. Margaery did not want to waste it and found herself strolling across the courtyard of the Red Keep. For once she was not surrounded by the servants, chattering and giggling with them. This once, it had to be her and only her, for she knew exactly where she walked. The man of the kingsguard was not difficult to recognize from a distance. "Ser Jaime," the queen greeted him upon approach. "How are you doing on this fine day?"
