Thomas sighed as he looked over his article. He was trying to capture the desperation of what life was like for poorer rural Americans but it just wasn't cutting it. He had done his best but he knew he needed another set of eyes. He sighed, regretting it. Thomas was a writer for an up and coming website and he hoped to really make it big. Unfortunately the only person who could help him was his biggest pain. Nothing he ever did was good enough for her and she was also so critical. The worst part was though she still made his writing better so he had to suffer through her making fun of him and undermining him just to make the best article he could.
He sighed again, getting up from his desk and heading to her office. Of course she got an office. She was the only writer that had one. She had just finished her second book and every professional woman he knew was raving about how much of an inspiration she was. If they knew what a raging bitch she was they might reconsider. He gave a quick knock and opened the door "Hey, do you mind looking at this?" He asked, assuming she wasn't doing anything major since she normally took lunch at this time.
