It's why I made a Twitter account:

Generally, your posts are fine. I make a daily backup (at 5 AM), and it runs on a hardware RAID 1, meaning if something fails, we goes down for a short while while the HD (or whatever) gets replaced. The worst that will normally happen is that you lose your last post if you are seriously unlucky. If something REALLY goes wrong (meteor to the data center) we'll lose up to about a day.
