Been interested in roleplaying as of late but haven't really found a matching request so far, so here is my own in case someone out there is looking for the same as me. Below are my writing and content preferences (you can always ask me for clarification). If your preferences align with mine, you're welcome to PM me! I will be waiting.
--- Writing preferences
I can RP in forum or e-mail, and I can post around once per day with a moderate number of paragraphs. I try to invest a lot of thought into my posts, and for that reason I prefer long story-driven roleplays. Smut, while nice, takes second place to good plot, intrigue, conflict and character development. I will expect the same from my partner.
I greatly value OOC discussion to make sure the story will be/is being enjoyable for both. This is planning, brainstorming, finding compromises, and so on, which I consider essential to a good story. I do require for my partner to be mature, separate IC from OOC and behave like an adult. At the very least.
--- Content preferences:
I consider myself dominant. I won't roleplay extreme cruelty, non-con, scat and the likes, incest or ageplay.
I vastly prefer original characters and settings, specially dark fantasy/sci-fi settings. Examples would be demonic, mythological, apocalyptic, magical, alien, sci-fi, nature, ancient landcapes and so on. By "dark" I mean generally a combination of bleak, potentially hostile, powerful, mysterious and dangerous settings that stimulates conflict and emotional development from the characters involved.
I would prefer playing as something sentient and at least slightly more than just human. Examples would be mutated humans, demons, robots, monsters, beasts, chimeras, aliens, plants and so on. I'm also open to swapping this role with my partner.
I'm also interested in GMing for another player, even though I have no experience as such. I find the combination of world-building and adventure-crafting enticing, and I wouldn't mind weaving an enjoyable story as my partner plays it.
