The trees of the Enchanted Forest know secrets, secrets that the occasionally whisper to each other when the wind blows. Within their boughs, many creatures live, some larger than a house, others no bigger than your thumb. Standing in the depths of a far off land, no human had ever set foot in their terrain or smelt the sweet scent of the air from their grove. Here, all things could grow and feel as one with nature. Predators were few but even the simple processes of growth, reproduction and death were like the changing of the seasons, mere occurences within the solitary wilderness of the forest.
All kinds of trees grow there, the ash, the oak, the willow and the hawthorn. Fine, grasping vines and sturdy, towering behemoths of trees populate the realm, binding the ground with their roots and serving as homes for all manner of creatures, from the great and to the small.
And then of course, there were the fae folk. Hardly ever seen by human eyes, they flit between trees, harvesting their crops and building their minature cities amongst the branches, safe from human discovery. Here was peace, nature and tranquility. And although the fae folk knew of the other mystical folk within the woods, they did not always speak with them, preferring to keep themselves to themselves. However occasionally, when they met and came to understand each other, their congress was nothing short of pure magic...
