There are still many places in the world, even in 2056, where civilization has not bothered with. The Bavarian Alps for example, are home to numerous valleys and lakes which are by no means easy to access. Such places are perfect for individuals whom wish to engage in extra-legal activities, such as experimental research on living beings without legal oversight.....for example. And if one were to have an excess of both time, money, and patience.....one could build themselves a secret lair of sorts....not that the person their would call it such. Yet what else could it look like to the world if young heiress and mystery-woman Victoria Frankenstein spent billions of dollars building a veritable fortress into the base of the Zugspitze? Despite their suspicion and criticsms she ignored it all. Secluding herself to the fortress while multiplying her inheritance a hundred fold through a series of brilliant take overs and investments....over the course of forty years. Even now she works in secret....alone in the heart of Frankensteins Castle....doing god knows what atrocities in the name of science.
Victoria released a huge sigh of relief as she put the finishing touch on her mother's new body. It had taken years...no...decades! It had become all to frequent that she lose track of time. While she appeared a young woman on the outside, her heart and mind had witnessed nearly a century of life. Such were the machinations of her alchemical experiments.....physical rejeuvenation was merely the first step she had taken on the path to resurrection. She turned to the mirror on her workbench, sighing an old, familiar sigh. She could functionally alter her appearance to nearly any degree she liked, and yet she had stayed with the same face for almost fifty years now. Ambiguity had its charms.....but time and familiarity are inseparable bedfellows.
Her long, slender limbs, though covered in grease and other unspeakable byproducts of her experimentations, were graceful appendages as pale as moonlight. She wore a baggy set of brown leather overalls with very short legs, badly stained and heavily worn. Her petite yet shapely legs rested lazily, crossed on her desk, the legs of her overalls exposing everything up to the crease of her buttocks. The thick suspenders of her overalls crossed over her back, running down her front, pressing firmly into her modest breasts from above the fabric of her plain tank top. Her hair was tied back at the moment, secured in a makeshift fashion by the straps of the copper welding goggles on her forehead.
"Well....I suppose there's no point in putting this off any longer." Though so young in appearance, there was a maturity to her voice that belied her true years. The exhaustion in her voice was apparent in the aching sounds she made as she stood up. "Mina? Please begin recording while I do one final examination. I want it all on file for later examination."
"As you wish Professor." An eerie female voice came from the shadows of Victoria's lab. The darkness itself seemed to shift just on the edge of vision, moving about in unnatural ways that would confound the average viewer.....until they tried to focus on it.....and found nothing but petty fears. Flitting from the darkness came a bloody eyed raven, flapping gracefully and silently as it settled upon a console across from the central operating table. This simple Raven sat staring intently at the form upon the table, far too intently to be so simple. "Recording stones are transmitting professor. Proceed at your leisure." Again, the voice seemed to come from nowhere.
"Very well. Fifth of September, year Twenty Fifty Six. Attempt number seventy nine on host body number one thousand, one hundred and four." Victoria stood next to the table and began moving her hands over the humanoid figure. "This is by far my most advanced body yet. After the forty-seventh host body failure it was determined that the problem was no longer in formula or process, but he survivability of the Host Body itself." She gently massaged the limbs, searching for imperfections. "Muscle tissue was harvested and hybridized from multiple sources, using Lycanthrope tissue as the base, and augmenting with Equine DNA for extended stamina and endurance. Bones have been hardened using super sonic micro fracturing, and reinforced using carbon fiber alloys." The body was Olympic in stature. A true marvel to look at. She had never been so proud of a body.....and Victoria had nearly given up twenty times before making it. "Her musculature had to be custom designed from the ground up. While she has the mass appropriate of the worlds most talented, augmented power lifters....I have managed to retain an aura of femininity to the form." That had been the most difficult part. Making her as powerfully muscled and built as she needed to be in order to survive the process, while maintaining that slender waist, the curve of those broad hips, shoulders both large and graceful at the same time. It had required numerous failures to perfect. "I made aesthetic modifications that I believe the subject will appreciate. Skin has been amalgamized in an asymmetrical manner, though all is uniform in structure, pigmentation has been changed for cosmetic effect." The body was criss crossed with heavy, deceptively sloppy looking stitches. She had been very thorough, but she knew the subject had dramatic tastes....all too well.
Her right leg was a deep shade of forest green running from the toes all the way up the side, ending along the crease of her abdominal muscles. The other leg was a light olive tone that ended at the knee, while spiraling up her abdoment, and around the back. Her chest, save for her right breast which was a rich bronze, was a reddish brown tone. Her arms matched the olive tone of her left leg, save for her fingers, which were all dark brown. Victoria took a moment when she reached the breasts, her fingers kneading heavily into the colossal EE cups like a pair of melon sized marshmallows. A slight grin flickered across her lips as she closed her eyes, temporarily losing herself in a very old memory. A hand slid downward, tracing the pronounced muscles of her abdomen until they reached her favorite modification.
"Subject always lamented not being able to love me as a man.....therefore I believe she will appreciate this 'appendage'." Her delicate fingers wrapped around the thick, meaty shaft nestled between those powerfully muscled thighs. "She also loved horses....and I must say I've groan an appreciation for their natural strengths..." Her hands moved to the heavy pair of balls below the equine phallus. "Even this I engineered to perfection.....aha...but I digress." She was almost complete. Victoria moved around to the head. "After some modifications, subjects brain mass had exceeded the confines of the average human skull. I had to get creative...." The subjects skull had been extended vertically by nearly four inches. To obscure the deformity, she styled the bodies' hair mimicking an old Beehive style. A dark shade of green, almost black save for the long vertical stripe of silver. She traced the pronounced, yet feminine features of the face she built, admiring her construction....regretting the necessity of the heavy bolts that extended from either side of the neck and temples. Still. They provided a certain industrial appeal to her creation. Suddenly...she rolled her eyes.
"Oh fuck this. Once I've done it a thousand times...." Having abruptly lost her patience with the whole endeavor, Victoria walked briskly over to a panel on the wall, and took a heavy lever in hand.
"Ma'am....are you..." The voice came again....not as confident as the professors response.
"No. But I'm too old for this shit." With that she flipped the switch, unleashing a flood of electricity and radiation into each of the chakra points on the body from a series of long metal needles suspended from some impossible contraption in the ceiling. Green and blue arcs of light jumped between them and the flesh of the body on the table....flooding the room with a chilling rush of power that drew a mad laugh from its creator.
"WORK! WORK DAMN YOU! FUCKING WORK FOR SHITS SAKE!" The shout railed against the temptest of light and lightning as if it were the defiance of god himself, casting his will against her scientific achievements. The laughter of madness permeated the storm.....perhaps giving at least a little credence to those that doubted her sanity.
