A castle-like fortress rests firmly in the middle of a rocky green island miles off shore of a human country. The world remains unaware of the existence of monsters, but the first few generations of students who attended college at this medieval looking castle were all werewolves and vampires along with a random magi or the odd human. Now things have changed. With the increase of human students and the rise of the popularity of the school, the castle has been renovated and the number of monster students has decreased along with their more particular classed moving to the basements.
Now the great grandson of the headmaster is tasked with keeping his inhuman classmates in line, just as his brothers and sisters have before him. The average student thinks he's just in charge of keeping peace and enforcing the academy rules. But, they remain unaware that they could fall victim to sharp fangs finding their throats. It's his job to slay unruly monsters, and keep the otherwise defeseless students safe.
Even if he doesn't enjoy it.
It was late, his dark hair being messy as his tie was unfastened. The dorm door opened as he entered the room with a yawn. Although his family wanted him to be just like his siblings and settle with a fertile werewolf girl to add to the next generation, it was impossible for him to not find his smile with his cute red haired human roommate. He was just so fun to see, even for a boy.
A small smile crept onto his lips as he sighed and shut the door behind him. Though, he didn't love his own name Jack was caught on occasion trying to make his cute roommate say it. There was a different ring to it when the smaller male used it to get his attention. "Still up?" Jack mused, moving over to his bed as he let his tired shoulders find his pillow in a quick drop. "Yer such a nerd. Are you studying?"
