LOCATION: Texas, Reynolds family farm. TIME: 1:23PM.
The sun was high in the sky, and if one were to have paid close attention they could've noticed the shift of shadows as time passed. Time passed, yes, very slowly in Texas. The burning heat was enough to dull the senses, and provided enough of an excuse to go inside for lunch that day. The family had just finished up the last chore before lunch, which had been prepared by mother Reynolds. They'd been expecting a guest - their city dwelling cousin that had been sent here by parents. Of course, the family was entirely unaware of the girls' reluctance to come to the farm, and had simply anticipated a summer full of hard work and family fun with the cousin. Among other things.
The one tasked with retrieving their relative from the train station was the father, driving around in his old pickup. Jeb was what one could call a hard worker, though it didn't exactly look like it'd paid off. The farmhouse itself was in good condition, recently having been repainted, but everything else looked like it'd been in use for several years now. So did his pickup.
"Welcome to Texas, dear girl," he said with a heavy accent - could've been Texan or 'hick' but who could tell the difference? "You'll see we do things different round' 'ere than you city-folk. Life's better 'ere, for sure. You'll see," he said with a grin, glancing at his dear cousin before his eyes went back to the dirt road that they were using to travel to the farm. It was a long drive, certainly at least two hours. The last time they'd even seen a house was about fifteen minutes ago - there was nobody that lived genuinely close, and on foot it could take thirty to forty minutes before you even encountered signs of life.
The youngest daughter of the family was Amélie, a girl whose tan happened to be a tint darker than most of the rest of the family, possibly because she worked outside with the animals more than anyone else. She seemed to have a true connection with the animals and almost seemed to prefer their presence over that of humans, though she would make an exception for her family. It wasn't exactly like they met many strangers out here, either. People that passed by were either people from the area, with whom she had shared more than a few experiences with, or strangers that had lost their way. Usually these were sent on their way again rather quickly.
But their relative was not a stranger. When the rattling of the pickup was heard inside of the house, everyone dropped what they were doing. Amélie herself was the first one outside, still wearing the overall she'd worn during the day when she went to work in the stables with the horses, accompanied by two of their dogs, Jameson and Grey. It was quite clear she wasn't exactly wearing anything underneath - perhaps because of the heat, or something like that. After all, judging from the many stains, grey, black and white, on the overall, she'd been working hard all day.
When their cousin got out, the children of the farmer's family would be quick to surround her. Amélie herself immediately flew towards the girl, wrapped her arms around her neck and pressed herself against her. "Ah, cousin! It's been so long since we saw you," she said, leaning side to side in this emotional embrace. "Should be a crime to be away from family for so long, really," she continued, before finally letting go and letting the girl breathe.
Before the rest of the family could suffocate her with attention, Jeb was quick to organize them. "Plenty of time to bother her later. C'mon, get inside, git!" Without further ado the family went ahead and followed the order of their father. Their mother was on the side, smiling at the passing children, before walking over to Amélie and the new arrival. "You'll be sleeping with Amélie, won't be a problem right?"
"It's fine, mom. Right, cus'?" Amélie was quick to add.
And with that said, they went inside to eat lunch.
The table was set with a large amount of food, as there were plenty of mouths to feed - mother, father, Amélie, her two brothers and her one sister. And now the cousin too. The lunch was mostly a free for all - anyone grabbed whatever they liked and ate it.
Amélie had taken great care to sit next to her cousin, in order to ensure that she'd be comfortable. Wouldn't want one of her brothers pestering her, and her sister had a nasty habit of being a bit too cold or mean. Amélie herself was much kinder - she kind of stood out in the family, as she even spoke with a minimal accent and her 'regular' clothes were a little bit less hick-like, though she only wore those whenever she wasn't working.
As she sat next to her cousin, she'd brush her arm against hers every now and then, Amélie's skin being warm to the touch. The girl didn't seem to notice although her cheeks were noticeably red and certainly looked warm to the touch. At some point Amélie glanced at her cousin and put a hand on her leg - nothing overly sensual but definitely out of the realm of what a city-goer would find comfortable. "Do ya' like it so far, cus'? Don't worry, you'll get used to it!" she added, and softly squeezed her cousins' thigh, her hand drifting up slightly across her cousins' inner thigh before drawing back and returning to their position next to the plate, and so she continued eating.
After nearly an hour and a half of lunch, Amélie would leave the table and help cleaning up - cousin was expected to help too, although any failure to do so would easily be excused by her hosts, who'd simply say 'she wasn't used to working' since she was from the city. "Let's go upstairs and get you set up," Amélie said, grabbing her cousin by the hands and leading her upstairs.
Her room was what one would expect - white walls with wooden accents on the top and bottom of the wall, a large bed and plenty of drawers. On the nightstand next to the bed was a charging station for something - maybe a phone, but whatever was usually in there was gone at the moment. "Alright, this is my room here, you'll be sleeping here with me. I hope you don't mind sharing a bed with me, cus, but it's all we have unless you wanna sleep in some hay?" she said, smiling politely at her 'not so funny joke.'
She gestured at the nightstand on the other side of the bed, adding, "you can put whatever you want up there, and.." She then gestured to behind her, where there was a desk alongside a wardrobe. "If you brought any fancy technological stuff, you can put that on the desk. Your clothes you can put in the wardrobe with mine, I s'pose. But don't worry 'bout that, you can wear my clothes if you don't have any, 'specially working clothes like this here," she then proclaimed, pulling on the overalls a bit, seemingly not noticing that she was giving her cousin a bit of a good view at her body.
She was well toned - her body was fit, athletic, from all the hard work she did. Her slender arms seemed to be in proportion with the rest of her body. Her breasts were medium-sized, though her flat and toned body made them look slightly bigger than they perhaps really were.
She grinned at her cousin then, before laying down on the bed and staring at the ceiling. "Aah," she sighed, deeply, "been a long day working with the horses and dogs, I can tell you that. What about you, cus, do you like doing anything? Do you work? What do you do for fun? I imagine you city-folk go out and party, right? Well, we can party too. I'll ask mom and dad if we can go swimming again so we can show you a true countryside party."
