Andrew Parnell was unjustly convicted for forging documents and theft. He knew this and had told the police when he was caught that he was innocent. Of course, they didn't believe him. The plaintiff was a rich and gorgeous woman. She had either bribed or slept with the judge and the police, who were men in majority.

Andrew looked at the prison around him in disgust. There was corruption going on in the country. The rich were getting away with their crimes or enjoying confined luxury even in jail because they can afford to pay it off. The poor on the other who cannot afford lawyers are left to fend for themselves. He was sick of it. There was no one who will listen to his story.

On the other hand Emma Smith grew up to become a police woman. Her grandfather was a policeman. Her father was, even her brother. She really just followed the family's history. Until she was in the police Academy things seems promising and innocent. She knew that many of the judges and the police officers would take bribes and justice wasn't always served. But she never witness any of that. Of course things changed the day she graduated and was assigned as a guard in a prison.

Emma, thought she would work in a police station. That it would be a desk job, and nothing too serious. But she ended up working in a prison and more like a guard. 'Emma a guard' She accepted the position, with a lazy attitude. The blonde girl with the black eyes and the pale skin was soon transferred to her new work place. She was 5' tall, petite and slender. Her first day at work, was nothing than she expected. She couldn't be lazy. She was guarding around a prison. Plus she had noticed the system was not working right. If you had money or power, you would even be treated like a king. Even if you were in prison.

Andrew's first day in prison didn't go well. He saw many people who were tough or doesn't give a care. He thought that they were there to be corrected, to have their attitudes or behaviour change for the better. Well, it wasn't that way. There were bullies who will fight the weaker ones, and what irks him the most is that the male guards are doing nothing about it or laugh along, making comments such as "Yeah, show who's boss" or similar things.

Andrew almost got into a fight when he accidentally bumped into a tall, slender man. The man radiates an aura of calmness and a sort of arrogance as well. He seems to be a rich fellow, probably earned his wealth through dealing with drugs. The man asked in a threatening manner, "Watch where ya going, kid!". Andrew just bowed his head and muttered an apology before quickly moving on, careful not to make any more contact with the man.
